@John - If you plan to post then I'll reserve the Frost Knight I guess. In all reality I'm kinda in a similar boaat to Toyumi in that it does not really appeal to me. However, I'll join since someone has to and cause I am utterly bored out of my skull right now. @Toyumi - I forgot to ask you, but did you drop out of UTPBS? I haven't seen you post in a while actually? -You RP idea has piqued my interest a bit. It reminds me a tiny bit of Jourmugand. @Zero - Peace, man. Thanks for the help with the Takuya claim. I'd offer to help you with any of your projects but we all know I suck at photoshop XP. Good luck with those projects of yours! @Icarael - We are kinda waiting on you now in John's Rp.

@ Jon- On second thought, I'm honestly really not all that interested in your RP. Like I said before, I won't be able to join it now and that still holds true, but now I don't think that I'll join it unless I'm really bored out of my mind or you desperately need an RPer for it. The idea just doesn't appeal to me all that much, really. >.> Anyway, I'm going to post in the Pokemon RP either later on today or tomorrow, and in it I'll basically end the day for my half of the group (So after that we'll only be waiting on you and Grey to do your gym battles before we can move on). Well, I suppose it's about time that I should release the basic introduction of the RP idea I've been talking so much of lately. This introductions will serve as the starting point for the plot of the RP (Since I can't really find the words to summarize the idea I have for it >.>). Of course, there are more details that will be added, such as geography of the land, races of the land, weaponry, etc., but all in all this will be a pirate RP. Also, I'll be doing something different with casting this time around. I'm going to PM the people who I trust and RP with often for some of the higher ranking positions, since those are the positions vital for the RP's survival (There are only 7 of them, and 3 of them are already taken, so don't be insulted or anything like that if you don't get one of them). After that, there will be positions exclusive to club members, and positions that are open for anyone. Anyway, sorry for the long explanation with something I intended to be short and sweet, here's the idea XD: On a day like any other in the world of Hysle, a group of people (Some talented, others more ordinary) were gathered together on a particular ship by a mysterious man. This man had sent out for each person that was gathered here today, whether by letter or in person, and yet, none of these people knew who exactly this man was or what he wanted with them. He only promised them money, lots of it, and the possibility of fame, if they accepted his request. This request was the reason they were all gathered on the ship on this day, to hear what this man's plea and figure out what they would do about it. The man stood atop a box, and whistled loudly, silencing anyone who might have been chit-chatting and gathering their attention. For those who had not seen him before, his appearance might have been quite the surprise. He was a short human, bald with tanned skin and wearing a navy suit. Despite his appearance, he spoke in a deep voice to the crowd before him. "Thank you all, for coming here," the man said, "I bet you are all wondering who I am; but more importantly, why I have gathered you all on this ship on this fine day." He smiled and paused before he continued. "Well, I'll start by saying a bit about myself," the man said, "You all can call me Mr. G. I am a man of wealth, acquiring much of it by making many good choices which led to my current life in my youth." "Now, I have gathered you on this ship today for a single reason," Mr. G said, "I would like you all to become pirates." There was some shock among his audience, causing Mr. G to chuckle before he continued. "Now now, pirating is only a part of your duties," Mr. G said, "It's not all of it. Your main objective is to get 4 specific, rare jewels for me. So in some cases, this may require piracy, the art of stealing from others either on land or at sea, while in others, it may only require you all to do some investigation and some exploring." "I cannot explain much more at this current moment," Mr. G said, "Including the reason why I need these jewels, in case you may be wondering. Like I have said multiple times, I assure you great pay if you accept. When you do, if you do accept, I'll assign you your role on the ship, which happens to be the one we're on at this moment." He paused again, allowing them to think for a moment, then added one more statement. "This could be the adventure of a lifetime for some of you," Mr. G said, "It's a once in a lifetime oppertunity to travel around the world, being cared for and provided money for any basic needs while finding these 4 jewels, and in the end you will certainly gain quite a bit of money and maybe even fame. Of course, the choice is yours, but think about it. I need your answer by the end of the day, come to me when you have made your final decision." With that, Mr. G disappeared into the belly of the ship; and with that, our journey begins. --- I might change this intro up a bit before the final is posted, but you get the idea of it. Edit: @Toyumi - That's alright. I enjoy having you in my RP's, but I know that you won't be in every RP I publish. I pass on a lot of RP's due to having no interest in them, even when they are created by people I consider friends here on Gendou. As for Pokemon, it's only going to take one post for my gym battle and return to Adele's house. I'm not sure how Grey will want to do it, but I'm going to opt to summarize this gym battle as opposed to create a big wall of text. @All - Here is my proposed RP idea based off of White Knight Chronicles. I ended up relying on more elements from the games than I originally intended, so I may go back and change the background story a bit. If anyone from the RP'ers United club wants to join, then now is your chance to claim a particular Knight. Don't worry about the character profiles and stuff for now. Basically, I'm posting it here first so that club members will get first dibs on the Knight characters before I post it in Gendou City and open it up to anyone. There are still a few details to work out, but it won't change significantly. I also want to see if it is worth posting this in Gendou City. I only have two people interested so far by the looks of it, so we'll see if having the details and plot up will attract a few more (This is also why you shouldn't go spending your time on profiles just yet). RP Layout Fayre Thousands of years ago, two major empires fought for control over the land using powerful beings called 'Knights'. The knights were created by a neutral country within the land of Fayre in hopes that they would bring an end to the constant war. Each empire received three Knights from the neutral country which initially resulted in a massive increase in bloodshed. After a few short months however, the war settled to a stalemate. The problem for both empires was that the Knights were evenly matched, unable to strike the decisive blow against one of their counterparts. Military leaders from both empires also became fearful of launching conventional attacks due to the constant threat that a Knight might be deployed against them. Neither empire was sure of how to handle the other's Knights, and they were capable of too much destruction to be used carelessly. What's more, the Knight's pactmakers had been chosen by the neutral country, and although they were loyal to their homelands, none of them enjoyed the fighting. Once a person had formed a pact with the spirit of the Knight, its power could only be used by that person. The only way that the pact could be broken and a new one formed is for the current pactmaker to die. Of course, the empires were not made aware of this fact, so they were unable to replace anyone that would not follow their orders. As time passed, the battles eventually stopped and an uneasy peace was reached. The empires shifted their focus to internal affairs as the Knights acted as a deterrent to war. The pactmakers later went into seclusion in secret and eventually passed away due to old age and natural causes. By the time this had happened however, both empires had seen new rulers rise to throne and the majority of the population were doing their best to forget about the existence of the Knights. ------- In the present, the two ancient empires still exist to some extent, but the Knights have since become legends. Several countries are now beginning to unite under the old banner of one of the empires, and fears are growing that war could break out at any moment. Whatsmore, the neutral country that was stated in legends to have brought about the end of the war now seems to be actively supporting it. The country's decendents have created a way for people to be transformed into large monsters called 'Gigas'. The country has also partially aligned itself with one of the empires in hopes that it can get support to expand its territory. Meanwhile, the other countries are banding together out of fear of invasion. This has set the stage for another bloody war to erupt. -Rules- -All 'RP Masters Guide to RP'ing' rules and guidlines apply (Godmodding, auto-hitting, etc). -Magic is in this RP, but it is not terribly effective. You can have stuff like fireballs, icicle spikes and things like that, but the range is more limited to single targets and cannot be combined with moves (in other words, characters have to actually cast Magic. You don't just use it with a flick of the wrist). -Characters are a bit more athletic in this RP than normal, but please limit that acrobatics as much as possible. Characters aren't able to leap off of walls and ceilings and things of that nature. -Due to the nature of the Knights, if you decide to drop out of the RP (or are otherwise absent without reason for too long) I will have to kill off your character. As stated in the plot, a Knight can only have one pactmaker, so in order for someone else to use the knight the current pactmaker has to die. If you do not post for too long I will be sending a PM to check on your participation. If you decide not to continue or I do not get an answer after a few days, then I'll kill off your character so that someone else can join the RP. (If you have a reason then that is fine. I can understand if you haven't had the time or are busy with something.) -The Knights are quite large (roughly 7 meters tall), so if the characters are inside tight spaces then you will be unable to transform. This is pretty straightforward for the most part. I will also make sure to state in my location tags if the area is too small for transformation by using {Restricted}, however you should always use common sense for your characters location. -Knights- Knights are first come, first served. The artifact that is used to transform is set, so you are not able to pick it yourself. This is an example of what the transformation looks like, if you really want to get an idea. Lunar Knight - Reserved by Jonathon -Ark: Sword/Scabbard attached to a shield. -Activation: Holds sword sideways with shield facing out and draws sword from scabbard Dragon Knight -Ark: Arm-Guard -Activation: Pactmaker holds up their arm with their forearm facing out, then places the arm-guard on (which automatically closes around the arm). Crimson Maiden (Female Character Only) -Ark: Choker -Activation: Pactmaker holds the Ark to their neck and the choker automatically clips around their neck. Frost Knight -Ark: Mask -Activation: Pactmaker simply puts the mask on their face. Emerald Knight (Female Character Only) -Ark: Belt -Activation: Pactmaker swings the belt around their waist and clips the ends together. Solar Knight -Ark: Helmet -Activation: Pactmaker places helmet on their head. -Terminology- Pactmaker - A person who has picked up an Ark and created a pact with the Knight's spirit. Ark - An artifact that allows the Pactmaker to transform into their respective Knight. The Pactmaker focuses on the Knight to make the Ark appear, then says 'Verto' before activating it. Each Knight has a unique Ark. Once someone creates a pact with the spirit of the Knight, the Ark is bonded to the person and will only appear in a physical form when the Pactmaker attempts to transform. When the Pactmaker dies, the Ark will remain in physical form until someone else picks it up and creates a new pact. Knight - Large ancient warriors that were once used to stablize a long and bloody war, eventually creating a fragile stalemate. They were created by a neutral country during the war. They are essentially spirits from another world bound to special crafted objects in order to harness their power. The method by which this was accomplished remains a mystery, but it has been impossible to replicate ever since. Even the ancestors of the neutral country are unaware of the process involved. Gigas - Large beasts created by the neutral country using a process similar to that of creating the Knights. Unlike the Knights, the Gigas are bound to cards and can be used by anyone. The user simply holds up the card and says 'Adveni' to transform. However, once a person transforms into a Gigas they are unable to revert to a human form due to the flawed process used in a Gigas' creation. Although the beasts are believed to have been summoned from the same world as the Knights, they are more feral and less intelligent than the Knights. The user will quickly lose their human nature and become more animalistic. This means that Gigas' which have transformed recently are more careful and better tradtional fighters, but as time goes on they will become more aggressive and more likely to fight to the death. Well trained mages are capable of retaining command over the Gigas, which allows them to be used for military purposes. Gigas are roughly the same size as a Knight, but most are not quite as powerful as a one. Their strength can change depending on the user. Imeldan Empire - One of the two Empires that was part of the ancient war. The neutral country provided them with the Crimson Maiden, Lunar Knight and Dragon Knight. The Imeldan Empire is largely considered by historians to have been the agressor in the war. After the introduction of the Knights, they devoted most of their efforts to assassinating the Pactmakers of the Daedalos Knights. All of the assassination attempts were foiled well in advance, so the Imeldan Empire never actually came close to succeeding. Daedalos Empire - One of the two Empires that was part of the ancient war. The neutral country provided them with the Frost Knight, Solar Knight and Emerald Knight. The Daedalos Empire is considered by historians to have prolonged the war by continuing to attack the Imeldan Empire well after they had gone on the defensive. It is also believed that they made numerous attempts to augment their Knights to give them an advantage. They tried to use magic on the Knights, and medically experimented on the Pactmakers, though neither method improve their Knights capabilities. Avira - The neutral country in the ancient war. Their mages were much more powerful than those from either empire, allowing them to hold off invading armies with relative ease. At some point in the war they created the six Knights and provided each empire with three of them. They believed that the destructive capabilities of the Knights at the time would cause both empires to fear their use and bring about a stalement. In the present, Avira has sided with the newly reformed Imeldan Empire and provided them with the Gigas; beasts meant to serve a similar function as the Knights except with no peaceful intent. -Character Sheet- You are limited to 1 Pactmaker character and 2 characters in total. You don't have to have a Pactmaker character, but keep in mind that the plot mostly involves them. Name: Age: (Minimum 17 for Pactmakers) Gender: Weapon: (Bows, 2h Sword, Sword/Shield, Spear, Staff, etc. Keep it to medieval style weaponry.) Picture: (Optional) Physical Description: (Required if you don't have a picture.) Bio: (Optional) Knight: (If character is a Pactmaker) Picture of Knight: The Knights look more like robots than humans (or I should say, more like medival knights), so keep that in mind when finding a picture. I know it's a little hard to find anime pictures like this (I tried, but couldn't find many, even non-anime style pics), so just use whatever you can find that you think fits the bill. Knight Weapon: (Can be different than your characters weapon) Features: (If you need to, you can describe any features that the picture you chose leaves out, or things to ignore in the picture (like guns, wings, etc).

I'm same as Jon - I prefer not to limit joining, because some people will drop out anyway. @All: Sorry for not posting for a while in SRW RP. When I remember I need to post I don't have a mood for RPing. In UTPBS my characters sorta left to rest, so I'm inactive until skip to morning. I'll try to post in SRW soon, but I'm kinda confused about how are we going to reach that Siberian base, considering we have to cross almost all the Russia to reach there, so I'll probably change our Air Base location to being closer to it. @jonathan; I would join but not at this time...since I won't have the time to roleplay next week and around beginning of May... @all; Like I told Jonathan, I will be too busy for the following week with assignments..And work. As for those awaiting for my next rp...I might bring it out around mid-May or June.. I am not too sure yet..right now, I do not have any good ideas for roleplay..especially with my mind..focus on projects and work.

@Haseo - I know, and I'm sorry about that. I was trying to get that part of the story out of the way as quickly as I could, which is why my past few posts have been so long and straightforward. I'll wait for Toyumi's post and then try to get back to everyone in the group. Again, sorry about that. It took longer than I expected due to me and Toyumi being absent at the same time. @Roxas - Thanks. Hopefully everything will go well and I'll get to go to Germany next year. I would love to experience that before spending the next couple of years in life mode (car/relationship/house/etc). As for the RP, I think it will be alright for a week without me. As long as I make a good post before I leave then I think I'll be back before too many posts are made. It all depends on what the activity is like around the site in the days leading up to my departure. @Roxas and Grey - You're free to join in the RP, assuming I actually get this off of the ground (I have a few more details that I need to iron out before I post the thread). I only ask that you keep in mind one thing: This RP essentially requires me to kill off characters if their respective RP'er drops out. If somebody drops out for whatever reason, then I will have to kill off their character in order for someone else to join. If someone else reserves then I'll post the RP and open the remaining slots to public members. If not, then I'll just post once I have everything completely finished.

@Jon: Sorry I haven't been active in the pokemon rp lately, but there really isn't I can do at the moment. It's pretty much a one-on-one between you and Toyumi right now, and there's nothing I can do besides "filler," and I don't want to really post until I can actually do something. Toyumi said that she was going to get things going in her next post, so once she does, you can expect a post from me.

Like I said, I'll be gone quite a lot for the next few days due to a combination of being out of town and work at night. @Icarael - I sent a PM related to your question. @Roxas - I don't really need to manipulate any of the NPC's, seeing as how in the next post or two the group will be on their way to Imelda. Alright everyone, I'm back from my trip and I have the next few days off of work because of Easter Weekend, so I should have some free time to catch up on all of the RP's I am a part of. I also plan to get back to work on the RP I was creating (the one based on the Knight's concept from White Knight Chronicles). Unfortunately, I'll be having a few more interruptions to my posting schedule over the next month or so. My exam week takes place during the week of April 16th, so I'm not sure how much posting I'll get done from Friday next week until that following Thursday. Then I'll be gone to Edmonton, Alberta for a week in May (I think it's the 12th until the 17th). I won Gold in the Provincial Skills Canada competition I entered, so now I get to go to the national competition, which will cause me to be away for about a full week (Again, it's too much of a hassle to drag my laptop with me on the plane). After that I have a lot of personal things to take care of in terms of finding a permanent job and getting a new car, so I could be in and out for the following month or so. Anyway, for the near future I'll be trying to get caught up on everything and try out my new RP. I should get a chance to make another post tomorrow. -----RP Advance Casting----- Alright, I'm going to try something different for my new RP in terms of casting. The RP I will soon be posting has a very limited number of slots (there are only going to be 5 main slots open), so what I'm going to do is make 3 of those slots open to RP'ers United Club Members. @Roxas thanks, and ya. It lasted very long even though it had quite a few problems with players god modding but it was fun in its own way. Only that I wasn't quite satisfied and didn't feel that it had the same punch to it as the other RPs do. So pretty much I closed it so I can collect data and ebuild a new one. Well at least some life is comming back in the RPs section.... I am currently looking for some help in remaking "School of Magical Insanity(SoMI)" under a different name(i think it's a weird title) and rewrite the plot with me. The plot was just missing too much story, details, and too much holes in the rules. Also I gotta admit That I did messup planning a continuing story for the RPers to follow. So I'm looking for reliable people that WILL slap me in the face if I'm doing things wrong. SoMI originally was made for beginners, so I would be more than wealcome to have newcommers join as well. Please pm me if you would like to help me in this reformation.

..*Sight* ... I Kind'a wish to be back to the old times, when Rp'ers use to be so active and passionate about Role-Playing. I used to be like EVERY DAY! looking for updates on the Rp's I use to be in. Im ashamed to say that only ONE of my Rp's have Finished.. and adding insult to injury that Rp was my FIRST!... T.T I had no experience, I use to write pitifully.. and some how.. It Finished.. " It Hurts" to constantly know that.. I just hope that some how we can make Role Playing Interesting again.. :/

@ Frozen- If you went through with that idea I probably won't join just because it's not really the type of RP that I prefer, but with that aside I think you need to explain it a bit better because it's a bit difficult to grasp with the short description you provided. @ Jon- Alright. I may or may not bring my netbook on my vacation just because it's a bit of a hassle to bring, depending on if I get a ton of schoolwork to do over spring break. We'll see what happens, but if I decide on not bringing it then you and Haseo have permission to control Adele as necessary if the need to post in the RP arises. @ Roxas- I wouldn't say that the idea is a bust just yet, more so that it needs to be explained a bit better and it's not the best time to put an RP idea out there.

@John - Moggle and I can hold things to s standstill if needed. My next post is going to be an explanation post anyway and I will be introducing the healer to look at the injured party. Since most of those I introduced are NPC's you can manipulate them anyway you want. @SRT - Bust?? Your Rp is one of the most surprisingly long lasting RP still on right now! So... today is the final day of my school's finals, I didn't post for like... I dunno, didn't count the days. So yeah, I'll try to post on UtPBS later... Before national exam take me away from here for a week again in around 3 weeks. thoughafterthatimfreeagainforalongtime With that being said, I have to say that RPing here really getting slower each days, well a good thing for me since I don't have to read alot to catch up, anyways... I still hope I'll do well on the exams

@Toyumi - You're right about the Pokemon RP. That RP has never really moved that fast, which is why I'm trying to keep the story portions and traveling going quickly. As for being gone, I wouldn't worry about posting while you're on vacation. I'm also going to be out of town for most of next week. I'm competing in the Provincial Skills Canada competition in my province, so I'll be traveling across the province next Wednesday and I won't be returning until Saturday evening. I won't be bringing my laptop with me because it would just be a distraction. @Haseo - Take your time, I understand that you've got a lot going on. I may just go ahead and pull something where Parker and Fenris split off on their own for a while and reunite with the others once you guys are able to post again. Either that or I'll just play their parts for the time being. Also, as mentioned above, I'm in the same kind of situation as you are. Doing well in that competition could result in employers coming to me with job opportunities, so I've got to start focusing on that. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, with all that said, my posting ability is going to come and go for the next little while. I'll be gone from Wednesday until Saturday, but probably won't have the time or energy to post until Monday night. Over the weekend I'll try and make some meaningful posts in all 3 RP's (if they have progressed enough anyway). After that is when my exams start to roll around, and then I've got job placements to concern myself with. Under the Pale Blue Sky - I'm waiting to see if anyone else will post, so Massacre and Roxas are just going to have to hold on for a bit. Also guys, I'll tell you now so that you don't go wasting a bunch of time. Be careful about how much work you put into settings and side-characters. Unless you plan for them to accompany the main group and become sort of main characters, then don't spend a lot of time fleshing them out. I noticed that Roxas made a pretty hefty post with the setting of the town, a bunch of characters, some background information related to Lucine, and I'm sorry to say that the main cast simply won't be hanging around there very long. After this next scene with Ezio then I had planned to roll out the main plot in the area of the Kingdom of Imelda. I don't have a lot to work with in Lucine, at least for the time being. The Kingdom of Imelda is set up to better support the intended plot.

@Frozen: Sounds fun, but I only tend to use my usual characters and if I use them, they'll survive with ease... well, aside from Mamoru maybe, he'll have some troubles, so if I join, I'll use him. But a bit too many RPs I'm in right now... though they're mostly 1 post per week, so I guess I might join. In case you RP - Usual Characters
