@Arc: You're skipping too much(Like doing too much in one post... you shouldn't defeat every monster outside this easily... moreover, my second character, Shiro is outside and you just ignored him) and trying to enter already ongoing event. I suggest you play your own story for now, while observing other players' posts. After you figure out what's going on - join the rest. If you have clear understanding you can even join in the middle of event... but most likely you'll have to somehow react on its' beginning. Well, for now just play normal life, slowly introducing your character. RPs are all about time... in other words - avoid rush. @All: Sorry for not posting for two days :) [Wil's house. near end of dark hour] Kasumi: Well, i'm mostly okay, as i didn't fight much... however, this place is too narrow for me to fight properly. We've been trying to escape all this time, but i guess we have no choice but to leave through the window... I wonder where Wil-sama is... hope he's safe. Well, this is somewhere near the ground, but there may be some of you who aren't tough enough for jumping from this height. Yukiko-sama, i'm speaking about you at least, as i doubt this delicate body of yours would handle it. (I suggest we're about second floor of appartments with entrance from the outside... like that in Welcome to NHK. Tatsu's not here, so i'll allow myself to improvize. And if we were on the first floor, shadows would already flood through windows) So, i can use my lance's acceleration to slow down our fall, but naturally its effectivness would reduce with more people holding it. So if anyone is tough enough - jump out on your own, if not - grab my lance... Saying this, Kasumi approached the window, pushed down maia, that was just about to enter through. After doing that, she looked outside... and then jumped through the window. Kasumi: I suppose there's no need to do it - there's are stairs for case of fire just below that window. [Near Wil's house, near end of dark hour] (too much nears :D) Shiro sheathed his sword, after finally defeating the knight. Mostly shadows were on the second floor, crawling next to one of the doors, so he had now opponents now. As he thought of going to help them, he heard a noise from somewhere else. Looking there, he noticed a girl, that he met during the day. It seems she noticed him as well. Shiro: Escaping... wise decision. |

~Wils House - Dark Hour~ Victor: Fine with me. Anything to get away from those things. He makes his way towards the window and jumps out, grabbing onto the fire escape railing and swinging over the edge of it, then dropping down to the ground and rolling forward as he lands. Victor: *recovering from the exertion and holding his chest* Alright, I think I'm about done with this place. Any chance we can call this a day and get out of here?    |

(So Kenji left without finishing this event after all... well, gotta finish it ourself then) [Wil's house - dark hour] Kasumi: I can jump, you can too probably. But i'm not sure about the rest. It's sorta bad, but Kenji-sama and that detective gentleman would have to buy us time to escape. One of them is yet inexperienced, but the other seemed kinda reliable in that matter, so they'll escape as soon as we do. Saying that she jumped down... and landed next to Shiro, who rushed there and cleared the ground below the balcony of the shadows. After exchanging glances with Kasumi, he looked up. Shiro: The rest of you jump down too. The source of that dark hour disappeared... or i can say left. However, it seems dark hour can't end while someone engages shadows, who cannot exist outside it. Kasumi: True, i never heard of someone being saved by the end of dark hour. Anyway, i can finally use my lance properly. But where should we run? I suggest we just run through the alleys, turning on as many corners as possible - this is the best way to... She didn't get to finish her phrase, as she had to fight upcoming flying eyeballs. |

@Arc: Well, we didn't mind it anyway, so... Just make sure to consider time. What i mean is don't travel on great distances in a duration of one morning. But it seems you know it anyway, as your time skipped to lunchtime as you made relocation. Anyway, as i understand you're in a flashback right now, as everyone else is at the evening, stuck in a dark hour. Btw, thanks for the clean and easy to read posts. [Residental district, dark hour] After defeating the eyeball shadow, Kasumi looked around. Kasumi: Hmm... seems like the shadows don't know we're here. Or they're taking their time to follow us by going down. I suggest now's the time to run. We might as well split up. Sheathing her lance, Kasumi dashed towards the closest alleyways. Shiro however, took a different route, heading across the street in a direction he arrived from, towards the shopping district. By doing that, he got noticed by the shadows, who instantly went to chase him (like how in dungeons when you get noticed by shadows they follow you for a bit) Hearing that shadows noticed someone(there's quite a unique sound to it, right? :D) Kasumi turned around. Kasumi: Umm... that's not what i meant, but if he's willing to play a decoy - we have a better chance of escaping safely. And from his looks - we shouldn't worry about him. Yukiko-sama, Victor-sama, i think we'll be safe as we get behind that corner over there. (Let's make retreat a quick one, as it's no fun making a chaise scene. And simple running doesn't suit Kasumi's image...) |

@Jon: Are you there? [Residental district, dark hour] Kasumi: Well... i only met him once, on the roof of your school, shortly after you left. He introduced himself as Fuyu Shiro, kendo club advisor. I don't know anything else about him. But it seems he kinda hates me. Well, not many can tolerate vampires. From what i saw just now i believe he uses two-handed katana... no-dachi, if i'm correct, as a weapon. I didn't see his persona, but i sensed it from him. Well, that's just another reason why i said persona-users are attracted here. |

[Residental block - dark hour] Kasumi: You should. Otherwise you'd turn into a coffin for a duration of dark hour... you probably seen some of them already. Anyway, you're a decent swordman. Even without summoning persona you're a formidable opponent to shadows. I think this situation was severe enough for them to awaken, but maybe it has to be something connected with yourself. Or maybe you'll need one of those invokers after all. This is one of the options, but i have no idea where to find them and those who use invokers are in some ways inferior to those who can summon without them. Oh, invokers are objects that look like a gun, but instead of hurting, they sorta provide an impact during headshot that invokes persona. That's why invokers... but that's just like forcing a natural process to happen. If you rely on them you won't be able to gather enough determination or desperation to summon it naturally... And as for feedbacks: first of all - you have to carry an extra item, second - it looks like a gun, so you may get in trouble with officials and third - you can't summon them if your hands are occupied or in a stealthy way. If i were to compare invoker-users and natural persona-users, it'd be like alchemists and magicians. [Residental block - late evening] (I think it's enough with the dark hour. Especially as Kenji's not here) Kasumi: Oh... it seems everyone has successfully retreated. Well then, everyone, good job surviving this. (After overcoming a harsh battle, Kasumi felt closer with the others. Kasumi Social Link - Level 1 Yukiko Social Link - Level 1 Kenji Social Link - Level 1) He puts his swords away, pulling the bag out of his pants where he had tucked it in. Concealing the swords once again, he takes a deep breath and winces before relaxing and looking around. Victor: Well, I can't say I enjoyed that, but I'm thankful to be alive at least. *sighing* I'm going to need a long hot bath. . .and a few bandages. At least I'm not bleeding to death, I suppose I should be grateful to you for that Miss Kasumi. |

[Residental Block - Late Evening] Kasumi: I suppose i'll be going as well. You should also thank Yukiko-sama, as she also took part in healing(Media). I'm still inexperienced, otherwise wounds of such level would be easy to heal. Long hot bath... i suppose that's a nice idea and i'll do it as i get home as well. However, you should restrain yourself, as hot water opens wounds. I'm sure there's no reason in gathering again, as there is something in this town that drags us together anyway, so most likely we'll meet a lot... However, i would like to know how to contact you. As for me - you can ask an old man in the clock shop of the local man about me - that's my only safe gate to this world so far. And come to think of it - if you want to awaken your persona you might need to ask Yukiko-sama about this - i think she can open a gate to the Midnight Channel, which is also a dark side. My world would be safer, but i can't bring people there(although she can bring those who she has social link 5+ with). And i think safe is not the fastest way to awaken persona. |
