What's with all the flag waving :D LOL but what the hell...*waves Jalur Gemilang*. I love my country. Guys, I need some new recommendation of anime but I don't want those for kids like Naruto or DBZ. And I have tried Bleach - doesn't interest me enough. So I would appreciate some anime which is more compelling, thought-provoking and has plenty of character developments like Fruits Basket, FMA, Air TV, Mushishi, Ghost Hunt, Elfen Lied and Claymore. So..can I have some recommendations now, please?  |

I just noticed there are 2 active threads for Malaysians here.. maybe someone should combine them both? Although, I guess it would need one party to err.. stand down or something. Anyone here active on 'both' these threads? I'm thinking most of the Malaysians here either post on either this one or the other.. Maybe the creators of the threads can pm each other and come to a solution..you know, decide which thread to make official, then create a link and advise all the active ppl to post on just one thread. Another method would be for someone to take charge and create a brand new thread, then close both threads and link all the active ppl to the new thread. Hmm.. i think that'll be better XD Sorry, I'm all NATO.. lolz.. maa.. it doesn't bother me enough for me to actually do anything about it at the moment XD but one united malaysian thread would definitely be more lively compared to the two we have now.. @Shinou Two recent ones I've watched are quite good. Kamichu~! (yes, there is an exclamation mark) is about a 14 year old girl who becomes a Shinto goddess. Very sweet, the peaceful village town setting just takes all your worries away. Another one would be Seirei no Moribito or Guardian of the Sacred Spirit. The animation is very fluid, and it's set in a fictional country much like olden day Japan. Some very nice sword and spear action, and folklore/legends in the storyline. @Blur high jump eh? well, DT gave some pretty solid advice there. It brings back memories.. I won the high jump back when I was in F6, during the sports day back then XD I din give any thought about the technique, just practice a bit and jump however you're comfortable.. you don't have to follow the pros and do it like they do in the olympics, you knoe, bending back first and all. I went in sideways XD I guess the most important thing is timing, and don't hesitate halfway.. take a deep breath, and when you're completely ready, then run and don't stop. Time your jump , make sure you don't kick the side bars when you stretch your legs XD That happened to me a few times.. lolz..

By the way, bkno9, I was thinking about Seirei no Moribito too :D ...lol...I'll watch it after I finish with Ai Yori Aoshi and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. I'm actually also chasing after 'Rosario + Vampire' but it's beginning to irk me with its ecchi-ness *sigh*. Anyway, come April a new anime call Vampire Knight will be aired. I have read the manga a little and I just can't wait for its anime version to be out. Oh guys, Gunslinger Girls second season is also due to be aired this year. Incidentally, does anyone have any idea when the live-action film, L: the Movie: Changing the World will come to the cinema? Another much anticipated movie after the success of the first two Death Note movies :) . |

It's pretty far back at the moment.. and a big part of the last two pages were filled with messenger type of messages.. You know.. "Hi~! My name is.. and I'm Malaysian~! From the state of peace and tranquility~!" Err.. something like that XD Well, if it keeps up like that, it might get locked, so.. we'll see how it goes @Shinou ecchi-ness? It was hilarious XD *imagines Blurie doing the same thing* XDDDD @Rixena You have around 10 months to get some friends together and practice the Lucky Star cheerleading sequence~! I'll be sure to come and support you during the next ComicCon~!
