Yeah it's mostly been Fuko this and Fuko that, which I don't mind since this is a 24 episode series. I would like to see more with Tomoyo though. There's also Kotomi and the cute/hot Fujibayashi sisters. The Ibuki-sensei/Fuko encounter was sad.

Ahhhhhh...so much talk about the 6th episode :o I must watch it soon!!! I'm so happy this will have 24 episodes ^__^ I hate it when it's really short and they don't cover the whole story well. EDIT: Couldn't help myself, i watched it on crunchyroll :P ahh, it was so funny yet happy yet cute yet sad altogether T_T I love Nagisa, i love awkward moments! XD she just has this little innocent look. Fuko is adorable as always :3 (wth was that dream she had? o.O;) I can't believe Ibuki-sensei can't see or hear Fuko T_T |

@ Sai-san No the song Dango is a special song written specifically for the anime series...yes it uses the same melody as Nagisa & Chiisana. It is the words/images of the song that is important in the series...As you know CLANNAD means family in irish...the end song (images) & the words are very significant (if you played the game before than you realize what it means)....i don't wanna spoil it but my hint is picture the dangos as characters from the series... Ok...i said too much...the song is a hint to what happens in the anime/game....so it is a perfect fit for the anime. The seiyuu who plays Tomoya has only appeared in minor roles in other animes...other than CLANNAD his other current role is Grahm Acres in Gundam 00...i haven't seen the new Gundam yet so i'm not sure of his character (or if that is how you spell it). The majority of the cast are the same ones as in the game...so i think that is pretty cool they used the same cast. There are alot of recognizable seiyuu's...like i said i for one enjoy Kikuko Inoue-san's potrayal of Sanae-san. *Normal Post* In the process of watching episode 7 right now...i forgot to see it yesterday after i downloaded the RAW version...in the process of downloading the subbed version as i watch the RAW version. I'll post my thoughts on it later on. *EDIT* episode 7 sypnosis. - TONGUE TWISTER!!!!  I WANT TO BE A MEMBE OF THE FUKO FANCLUB!!!- Nagisa is so CUTE when she gets emotional...T___T!! - Dango vs. Starfish...WHO WILL WIN!!!...or is it a Ninja Star...? - PA system...they are starfishes...*WHAT??!!!* - Sunohara gets the beating of his life...from Fuko?! O_o? - Kotomi the STARFISH MASTER!!!...or maybe not... The last 10 mins....not for the emotional.....VERY SAD!!!!! - happens just like in the game...people start to forget about....F**O..T__T!!!  |

seems like the anime have some references to Irish mythology magmel (メグメル）the opening theme song is another reference to Irish. this is from wiki. In Irish mythology, Mag Mell ("plain of joy") was a mythical realm achievable through death and/or glory. Unlike the underworld in some mythologies, Mag Mell was a pleasurable paradise, identified as either an island far to the west of Ireland or a kingdom beneath the ocean. another one is Mabinogi, its one of clannad soundtrack album. Mabinogi is a collection of prose stories from medieval Welsh manuscripts *edit* i just watch epsd 7, the beginning still same as usual lots comedy and the dango vs starfish one is funny lol. But the ending is really heartbreaking. It seems like Fuko's arc start getting into the end.

@Izumo Oh, so it means family... I've been wondering what clannad means... Then it all makes perfect sense :) I like that song btw, such a peaceful melody. It sounds like a simple children song, yet really beautiful and warm. Mmmm The 7th is here... But it'll probably take some time before i can get my hands on it. Ohh finally the first emotional strike is coming! I truly look forward to this... |

I forgot to say why Fuko-chan has been so prominent in the series as of now....in the game she's a major factor in Nagisa's scenario. Those two are linked in their stories which is why she so far has such a big role. I assume they are nearing the end of Fuko-chan's path...although there are a few things that are left out & probably won't be included in the anime version... The pic i have at the first page is a very sad one...what happens after it is the heartbreaking moment. *spoiler* hilite to read if you so choose to. After Fuko-chan gives the starfish to her sister she disappears....earlier on before the wedding happens everyone starts to forget about her...even Tomoya & Nagisa. If you wanna get the good ending Tomoya has to do something to prevent everyone from forgetting her(a light orb is in play here). After you do all the things neccessary Fuko-chan recovers from her coma & everyone goes see her at the hospital. Also notice in the opening credits where the girl is laying under the tree...you see a brief glimpse of a shadowy figure...guess who that is..yup its Fuko-chan. This happens in the after story...where fans beleive the girl is ****** & ****** daughter. |

MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD!!!! ***** & ***** daughter is U***...that girl is what she may be like when she's grown up. The shadowy figure is the grown up F***...she finds the girl under the tree & in the game asks if they wanna be friends. So it is like F*** has conquered her fear of making friends. The whole dream realm plays a role here....that girl in the realm is U**** & the robot she is with is considered T*****.  When T****a starts having those visions again later on in the series it'll make more sense since i'm trying not to spoil anything...albiet i think i'm doing a poor job on that T___T. Anyways in the game U**** doesn't show up until the 'After story' after ***** suceedes in giving birth but at a cost. Unless you fulfill everything in the main scenario & when ***** gives birth she doesn't....you know....(rhymes with spy)....than that scene in the OP credits where you see a girl running through flowers will have more meaning. Okay that's it no more spoilers from me anymore..... |

First i'd like to ask, is that the spoiler of the major overall story, or just episode 7? if it's the earlier then i might have to break my hand O.o and buddy, next time just use the color #222222 for spoilers. It's more effective |
