Thank you very much for your kind comments. I also thoroughly enjoyed listening to everyone's entries. They were all very nice, spirited, and the variety of languages and song styles was amazing. <3 It was an honor to compete against each one of you. I look forward to the chance of hearing more in the future. As for questions some of the judges had in their comments: Mandy: Thank you. Pro is what I'm going for. Especially after http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sELL-nxccsâ†This debuted. Josh: I'm American (D.C. <3), but I live in Japan (Kobe. I have a ridiculous Kansai accent... ) My intonation/other random bizarre vocal strangeness come from being a freak of nature. I think it could have been more energetic too. XD (Weakness~) Pame: I recorded it in my room with a konami karaoke revolution (USB) mic a few years ago. Since then said mic has fizzled out, so the other three on Myspace are me getting WAY too close to my MacBook's built-in mic a few weeks ago. Built-in has a lot of compression and feedback issues, doesn't help the speakers are in the keyboard pointed right at the mic. Yeah, way to go there Apple. Challenge mission accepted! | @Naz: Yeah, I ended up not being able to record something I was satisfied with, and since I'm working and in a summer class, I decided to sit this one out. Let's both enter the next season, okay? Also, I think the song you recommended for me should be in my range. I haven't had a way to listen to it all the way through. I have so much stuff that I still want to cover. I'll PM you about it. |

Judge Josh: I'm glad you got that feeling ^^! I know I'm not an expert in technique, but I love interpreting songs... the feelings in them. Judges in general: thank you so much for your comments!! I know that it can be incredibly nerve-wracking, but do your best, because I'll be rooting for you. |
