@izumo hahahah thx ^^ forgot that part but all are explained in the anime, when kaede talked to asa alone, she said that at first it was jsut devoted, redemption toward rin, but after rin became distant the thought is crumbled, it was love that she hold deep down (who could blame the girl, i mean, for me, rin was too perfectly kind, enduring the hardship so that his best friend have reason to live, i would fall for that kind of guy if i'm a girl ^^) okay, well then i'll start looking for the OVA ^^ thx for the info AI well i only read the manga, but still unfinished ( the reading ) it quite nice, but the more i read the more i believe they will do something foolish by toying with feeling then comeback to realize it (the typical romance) so well i'm kinda taking a break from it hahahahahhaha for nanoha well that what you get and i know that triangle heart is romance but suspense??? is there kinda like murder and all that?? i was on the verge of trying to get the OVA but then decided not, something told me not to??? well i don't know what your opinion about the story??? |

@Izumo: Ah, i know about Maison ikkoku and Futakoi... i mean i watched them :) But thanks for others :) And, emm... wasn't Tokimeki almost the first game of such series? I believe ToHeart appeared later than the tokimeki game :) But i can mistake :) Oh, and as for Kaede's case... i think she wasn't exactly devoted to Rin... it was more like she was crazy in a way. Well, she explained it herself... and probably Rin sorta noticed it. And as for Rin missing that Kaede was about to break apart... i think in there it's Kaede's fault for trying to hide it... Well, Rimu could've told Rin too... And well, if i'm correct - KOR had 42 episodes, 8 ovas and two movies. In the end of the first movie they've completely sorted out their feelings. Apparently there's a light novel Kimagure Orange College(Crap, forgot how to write it), i think it takes place after first movie and before the second one... not sure in there. So, if they want to make a continuation to the anime - they can :) @Flaming Fighter: Welcome :) @Key: Heh, i agree about Rin... Good thing i'm not a girl though :D As for Triangle Heart, i don't think it was exactly a murder... well, it had battles of course. Come to think of it, in the OVA, protagonist never appeared even once... so it just takes place in the same world. I can't say about the game, but the OVA mostly follows the kidnapping attempt of some famous singer and how three characters from the game tried to prevent it. As for CF2 - you should really try it out - it has a wonderful plot :) |

@ Moogle-san I did some checking...you are right...Tokimeki debut in 1994..while ToHeart was in 1997. What i read was meant that the anime version became highly succesful regardless of playing the game or not. The story & premise was so good that it drew in the fans. It was this franchise that put Leaf up there in visual novel development. Oh yes i forgot about the first movie...i believed it took place after the anime right? Before Hikaru left for America. The 2nd movie wrapped it up....cause if i remember right Hikaru saw Madoka & Kyosuke kiss (cliche i know)...so we thought that there were hard feelings between the 3. @ Key-san Triangle Hearts the anime dealt with an attempted assination attempt on Fiasse. The brother & 'sister' (really his cousin) were asked to protect her...while Fiasse's best friend was also asked. Like Moogle-san said the anime didn't really show who the main villian was....or it could've been the guy at the end. |

I LOVED UFO Valkyrie Princess! I saw up to season three, although sadly I lost all the episodes during the crisis. T-T` Season 4 is out, although I haven't been able to see it yet. I think there's about two OVAs for this, not sure about those either. Yeah, not the best romance anime around but I love cute romances like this. Same as 'Maburaho', too, if anyone's ever seen that. ------- |

@Izumo: Dunno, i don't remember her seeing them kiss... And well it's like this i suppose: TV -> OVA -> MOVIE1 -> ORANGE COLLEGE -> MOVIE2. Yeah, and as for tokimeki anime you don't mean Tokimeki Memorial Only Love? After all, there's another anime - Tokimeki Memorial OVA, based on original series. As for what's earlier - those ova or Toheart anime - dunno :) And i watched it - it seems it's pointless to watch unless you played the game. Only Love version's based on Tokimeki Memorial Online... man, really want to play this one on english and free :) @Key: Well, anime showed the main bad guy, but only anime's bad guy... dunno about the game - if there was or wasn't any... But as for anime's main bad guy - it was showed as he was arrested in the end :) @DA: Well, i have Valkyrie PRincess in my watchlist, but never heard of Maburaho... probably... you're recommending? |

Personally I loved it, although honestly I think nobody would really like it, let alone love it. The storyline was kind of weak and it's pretty predictable. It's not one of those popular animes either, and I'm not sure how well the manga did. But to me, I love it regardless since the characters all really cute, a lovely small romance story between Kazuki and the three girls (or four, technically), etc. The dub was cute, too, since I love Yuna's American voice actress. Might be pretty recycled how she says "Kazuki will return to his human form" later in the anime. I won't spoil much, but hey, I'd check it out, at least to see for myself. I have it on box set, and I've seen it like, three times dubbed and I think halfway with subs, once. UFO Princess Valkyrie is another cute anime which I loved a while back when I had the subbed episodes up to season 3. They did what other short 12+ episode animes should do. They made more seasons. Each season is good, at least I had a very fun time watching them all. You wouldn't really know it, but it can be an ecchi anime at times. ;P And yeah, dude, your watch list must be HUGE! ------- |

@DA: Well, from your description it's something like Lamune :) Well, i'm not chasing popular anime... or actually, i'm more interested in something rare, like One Kagayaku Kisetsu e, or Fire Emblem OVA, or Violinist of Hameln :) But well, that doesn't really matters, does it? :) Dunno about the dub - i prefer subbed versions, since dub kills the play of words and somewhat changes their character. Oh, and it's not huge, but well, i may pm it to you - watchlist(what i'm planning to watch) and animelist(what i watched) :) |

I think I still have the copy you sent me last time somewhere around here on mah desktop. Maburaho is nice though. For me, it was good that I enjoyed it enough to watch it three times or so, dubbed. Speaking of Lamune, I have all those episodes, too, that I finished dLing a little while ago. I haven't seen it yet, but I've read a bit here and there about it or so. ------- |

i've watched maburaho, well it's just funny, that's all, nothing less nothing more. for lamune there are sweet part in it ^^ @izumo and moggle.... i see well, probably not gonna take this anime (triangle heart)........ i'm interest in orange road, but seeing it having to many episode that mean that the story like go on and on and on, maybe i go pick the last part only, so... is it just this??? (the timeline) OVA -> MOVIE1 -> ORANGE COLLEGE -> MOVIE2 should i only watched the ova?? well since i read wiki, i probably know what the main story is, and known what happened to the main guy ***spoiler*** the main bad guy become journalist and gone missing, well that the ending i presume, but what next??? who did he end up to??? [highlight the teks] or maybe i should read the manga?????? |

@Key: Well, it's called ova, but it's more like more tv episodes, since the length's about the same and it's just a continuation from the last tv episode. I gave the timeline so you'd know from where to watch. Moreover, although it has many episodes (Well, 50 if i'm correct, including ova - that's relatively low number) it's every episode worth watching. Well, of course several episodes have no effect on the plot itself, but are worth watching (episode 20 and 40 are such episodes if i'm correct... well, dunno), while others have significant meaning. Well, anyway, it's worth watching for sure. And there's no main bad guy in there :) Well, except for few delinquents, but well, they usually appear as a prey to Ayukawa :D Anyway, you can't skip the tv episodes, otherwise you won't have any real knowledge of characters and stuff... @DA: Well, Lamune's worth watching, but that's one of such animes, that you just tend to forget that you saw :) |

@Zparticus: Hentai turned into romance anime? Heh, almost HALF of the romance animes are based on hentai games... and even those, containing a bit of romance, like Fate/Stay Night or Tsukihime :) @Key: Well, about where he's gone missing is a movie2. The very end of the anime. Well, there may be manga or light novels like Kimagure Orange College, but i doubt they'll make anime from it. So, i suggest rewatching everything in a proper order, so you'll have a better idea of it :) |

@ Z-san Yes there is one....it is called Pia Carrot 2 DX. All the characters from the hentai version of Pia Carrot 2 are present. There is a hint of a love triangle between 3 of the characters...although since the series is only about 4-5 episodes the plot is a little dilluted. It has some moments but overall it is an ok series. The movie "Pia Carrot e Youkoso!! - Sayaka no Koi Monogatari" picks up a few years after Pia Carrot 2. A few characters from Pia Carrot 2 show up but mosly it deals with new characters. Pretty short (about 50 mins) & not much really happens...there is a cute song where the girls enter a beauty pagent to boost customers at the restaurant....it works really well. Again cute & an okay film. |

@Izumo: Well, i still don't understand what's so unusual about non-hentai version of something that was a hentai. Well, for example there are two anime versions of One - hentai and all-ages... well, considering you understand almost nothing from all-ages version you might want to watch a hentai, but in general it's okay :) But anyway, gotta check out this Pia Carrot 2 DX :) |

@moogle yeah the current trend of romance animes are based on h-visual novel games...but these visual novels not only offer well naked women but a deep engaging story as well unlike your typical h-anime where story takes a back seat for the *ehem* "action" so its quite surprising for me to see a hentai character turning family friendly hahaha kinda like watching a former "adult" film actress starring in a disney movie hahhaha @izumo yeah i read it in your previous post...i hope its on crunchy roll ^^... @snake well i havent seen lamune yet..well im kinda "new" in watching romance anime...got hooked because of air and kanon 06..the oldest that i can remember is fushigi yugi, ayashino ceres and kare kano...anyway any good recommendations? old or new as long as its finished ^^ @key well izumo answered your question i got a question...does a good romantic anime need to be a bit ecchi to be a hit? should it tackle more on seriousness of relationships or stick to more romance related comedy? |

nope but the trend is, but well all that we saw either have ecchi in it or have comedy in it but i could say lamune doesn't have both sure some have pure one like toheart let see the one already finished (LC=light comedy) (LCE=light comedy ecchi) (CE=comedy ecchi) (SE=serious and echhi) (SLE=serious and light echhi) (S=serious) (H=well if there a sex scene, whether viewable or not, even if it just in the end) lamune (LC) toheart(LC) shuffle (LCE) shuffle memories (LCE) tsuyokiss (LC) Canvas 2 (SLE)(S)(H) Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru (LC) Sola (LC)(S) Clannad (LC)(S) DiGi Winter Garden (S)(LC) Lamune (LC) Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora (SE) Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (SE)(H) Ai Yori Aoshi (CE) Nanatsuiro Drops (LC) Futakoi (S)(LCE) Midori no Hibi (CE) Memories Off (S)(LCE)(H) Hanbun no tsuki ga noboru sora (S)(LC) Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun CS) Soul Link (H)(S)(LC) Da Capo II (don't know) ef a tale of memories (S) (rest is don't know) Myself ; Yourself (S)(LC) elfen lied (E)(S) probably some more but i forgot, well the letter of description doesn't always right on the spot since that what i believe the anime was all about having the well known content, maybe IZUMO, MOGGLE, and DA could hepl define the anime better and they are all have finished the airing meaning they all have finish^^ |
