I failed to see the humor in that, sorry. However I think the hardest thing to say to my own parents would be, "Thank you,". I realize that what they're doing for me is just so that they can guarentee that I'll have a steady future...but with the amount of pressure that they continually put on me, sometimes it's hard to believe that their intentions are good. "Hey, mom. I got my report card today. I got all A's!" "Oh, that's nice. But here it says your final exam in Spanish got a B+. What happened there? Why didn't you get an A there?" Comments like that annoy me, but I know they mean the best for me... so even though I understand what they're coming from, telling them, "Thank you" is still something I've yet to do because I simply don't have the guts to do it yet. Nor do I believe I've completely understood everything they've done for me yet. Plus it'd sound corny coming out of nowhere.  |

| I don't think ther eis particular phrase but for me it'd be my feelings. Anything has to do with my emotional self, I just can't tell them those things. the "Im pregnant" falls in there too because that ties into my personal life/thoughts and feelings. |

@Kita: Well..that's okay..coz I don't really sense any humor in that sentence though..that's "the hardest thing you would say to your parents" right? not "the funniest thing" anyway..I put the "mwahahahah" part to show how evil I am if i say that.. |

I don't talk to my parents much at all, but if I were to say something to them...I think it would be that I spend all my time on an anime website talking to strangers from all over the world, some of whom have become my best friends. Wow. I'd be toast. O_O  |

Heh... "Mom, your daughter's a pig, and she's spending every single cent in this house. I know you want her to go to University, but she never studies. All she does is drink and smoke with her so-called 'friends' in bars. If you don't mind, i'm gonna slit her throat when she's sleeping later." Sucks but true. v_v  |

T-kuz: I don't know. Perhaps I was wrong in assuming that this thread was intented to be slightly on the serious side? I'm not sure what your relationship with your parents are, and it'd be wrong of me to assume, but I'm grateful for my family, and that I have a place to stay, eat, and live in...so I just don't think that'd be something appropriate... That's not to say I don't have a sense of humor though. I just didn't think it was necessary in this thread, that's all. ^^; Didn't mean to offend or anything, if I did. |

| I just happened across this topic and thought i'd put my 2 cents in...speaking from experience... "Mom....Dad...I think I'm pregnat......." and after silence I heard something that I never wanted to hear my mom ask me, "Have you thought about an abortion you aren't finacially ready for that." and the next hardest thing to tell my parents was when I was talking to my mom and she kept asking me if I'm bi so finally I just told her and she lied straight to my face about how she wouldn't judge me...and I believed her as her best friend is a lesbian. (wonderful lady she is too...my mom's friend) and then she told me that if I tell my dad I'll lose him completely. *sigh* I hate running from who I am...anyway...there's my 2 cents and a bit more. |

Its difficult to say any hard to expressed words to them, especially exam results, thing u want to have, what you are not liking about their doings..yeah its hard.

The hardest for me to tell my mom was goodbye. She suddenly died two years ago, and it was hard to walk by her casket and see her for the last time and say goodbye.   |

Some people say that the most difficult thing to say are the things that you really feel.. ~ I love you ~ I care for you ~ I'm sorry ~ Thank you I dunno if it's true or not. It's like... ummm... "Uh, cud you go to the police station & bring a lot of cash, please?" "Cud you go to school tomorrow?" "You know I love you dad" (dunno why just hard to say, it's somehow different than saying 'I love you mom') & the hardest thing is when I have to talk to my mom with a smelly mouth (alcohols & cigarettes)
