He laughed heartily at Kenji's response as he sat down. He leans back on the couch and leans his bag against the arm. Victor: Worn in furniture is so much more comfortable, no where near as stiff as the stuff in the hotel. One of the girls he had seen the previous day returns with tea and snacks and places them on the table. Victor: Ah, many thanks. I haven't had anything since lunch, just before I got pulled into this whole ordeal. |

@All: Whoa, i feel it slowly dying... gotta go back to posting a lot :D ~Wil's house, evening~ As everyone arrived, Kasumi stood up and bowed to them. Kasumi: Welcome, gentlemen... About this meeting, we assembled it just because noone had any better ideas what to do. Mostly we intended just to gather and share information, however, for some reason it turned out like this. So i'll say it now - noone here has any long speech planned. There's no real reason to wait for Wil-sama, we should come to a conclusion and if he's not here - someone will retell him the details later. Well, let's say, there are two main points we intend to discuss. First is an unusual appearing of dark hour during the day. It may have happened only once, but there is should be a reason behind this. Despite how it looks, dark world isn't chaotic, it has its own order of appearing and reasoning. The main reason we called Kenji-sama here is because he might know something about this case, as i believe this dark hour was centered around him. And now for the second main point. As most of you may know, persona-users are fairly rare beings. Ordinary humans have more chances of becoming one if they get closer to them. However, in this case it's slightly different. Somehow, it seems persona-users gather in this town. It may be the place that attracts us, or it may be one of us. Whatever the answer is, that most likely means that something important would occur soon. Let's say it was my speech: now for your opinions and suggestions. Victor-sama, if you have any questions - i'd be glad to answer them. This conversation may be a little out of place for you, but you have a potential... no, more like an obvious destiny of awakening your own persona soon. |

~Wil's House - Evening~ He crosses his arms and leans back in the couch, closing his eyes. After contemplating for a couple of seconds he opens his eyes and looks to Kasumi. Victor: Well, I've come up with a lot of questions, but I'd prefer to keep them to myself right now. For the time being I will just ask the more direct questions I have. Forgive my upcoming bluntness but how exactly do I summon these Persona beings? Do I pick a mythological creature and say it's name, special device, there's no dark ritual involved is there? |

~Wil's House - Evening~ Kasumi: Dark Ritual? Ah, no, Persona is not a magic. The name persona actually explains its existence - your other self. You don't get to choose which one is yours. It'll most likely be somehow linked to your personality. After that, there are many ways of summoning it. But calling its name is enough actually. Anyway, your persona is already in your... how was it called again... "ocean of soul"... or something like this. You don't get it, you awaken it. For some reason they take form of mythological creatures, probably because this form is imagenable. As for the way to awaken it, i apologize, but i can't help you with this one. My persona was awaken from my birth. Although i think it has something to do with the dark side and strength of heart. Yukiko-sama should probably know the best. What i can say right now - if you ever get to any dark side you'll most likely awaken it. |

Persona, meaning 'mask' or 'character', like a reflection of my true self. . . and it has to be awakened somehow. Perhaps it's a survival instinct, maybe a near death experience or a possibly lethal situation could wake it. |

[Wil's house, evening] Kasumi nodded as Victor summarized her speech. Kasumi: Actually, it doesn't have to be lethal situation. But during such time the probability's the highest. Come to think of it, one human can hold more than one persona. As you say, it's a reflecton of true self, but there can be more than one true self. For example... well, let's see... When you're alone, when you're conversating with someone of your own level, when you're conversating with someone of higher social position... all three are your true selves, as you don't make much effort changing how you act. For example, there are things you do when you're alone. However, if you do them in public you'd be considered filthy, unmannered or such. But you don't even think about it, don't make much effort to change your actions. Therefore there is a possibility of having several personas. Moreover, if your personality is mostly neutral and you don't hold much personality traits, you become "zero" and at the same time "infinity". In other words you may hold endless personas. I've never actually seen such human, only heard of them. As for any more questions, Tetsuya-sama, i already asked my main question - i'm interested in what happened yesterday in the mall. (That thing about being different in different situations also would explain my idea of learning new personas from achiving social link levels. Btw, i suppose i can say that "Kasumi earned Victor Social Link level 1") |
