Why not try out for the FLUTE position? Wouldn't hurt trying out, right? You can if you want, I'm not forcing you. ^_^ Votes from you though, would be most appreciated so I hope you vote at least "once". :D

hai hai, the band is coming along ^_^. (wakes DA up, lol, jk jk, have ur rest! ^^) When is the deadline for the auditions? And... YES, I would like to audition for vocalist, huhuhu. Oh... and I'm also interested in the "designer" position... do we have to try out for that too? I don't think I ever seen any of your creations before, so I'm kind of looking forward to seeing them. I'll update a little bit of the first post now. rEi:: No problem. @inferno: I totally agree with you there, the main 4 is needed: Lead-g, bass, drums, vocal....but it will sound better with a keyboard, or another guitarist to back up instrumental parts or lead guitar parts. And yeah, yellowcard has two guitarists + a violinist..awesome ehh. :D wow lotsa posts to read..its hard not getting on at weekends.. ~_~ Haha this audition idea is getting more like a Reality Show...ROFL this is funny. @DA: i think teaming them up is not a good idea, that would be hard. Individual auditions is fine.. >.> And I agree..Putfile is getting annoying...maybe use a different uploading site. Ah Michi was here..*-* @Michi: Thanks for posting that. But of course a band member could also be the staff right? (composer, lyricist, etc) Because that would make things easier...like most bands in the world, they make their own songs and do the lyrics sometimes. Also, if you guys are wondering, GenROCK is pronounced as "Jen-Rock"..if you guys want to change it, go ahead maybe it would be easier for some people. @Z: bwahahaha GROUPIES? Er, I think we decided individual auditions will commence. Also... DO NOT USE PUTFILE! I'm not sure with Michiyo and the other judges... but use another uLing site. One where you only have to click on the link, it sends you to the page, click on the song link, it begins to dLing, you listen, discussion begins among the judges, etc... Besides, I think putfile is more suitable in the karaoke thread if you're not trying out for the band or if you were cut from auditions. During auditions now, it matters. Later on, not so much.

Exactly, no Putfile for the band. DA, are we supposed to only send a sample music without vocals and any additional instruments for the audition? Cuz playing lead guitar without any backing rythm kinda sounds....dry. Anywayz, if that's how it is, that's fine with me, I'm just saying it might sound weird or dry. |

No Putfile? Okies then. @ Dangel: Sorry if you already mentioned this, but for the auditions for the PIANO part are you allowed to get sheet music of anime songs from the Internet, play them, and record them and post them here?? Will that work? of course, i'll state the credits under the link or something. |

There are no teams here, as Michiyo and myself... stated a while ago and everyone will be sending in just a short "sample" (to get you guys ready or something, I guess, I'unno). You can find guitar solo's for anime songs and stuff on youtube.com. I see them when I play AKFG or Laruku songs or something. Just do your best, that's all I have to say. Oh, if you're guitar is dry, put water on it to give it some life. You'll both be Haruko (FLCL)!! luvii:: ... Next... just kidding. Er, what are you best as? Flute playing or singing? Just a Side Note, the singing/vocals position... my guess... is going to be packed! If you're trying out for the band and you want to try out for the singing/vocals spot, be sure to have a pretty confident backup. :D If you're not trying out for the singing/vocals part, you can relax. Suzaku:: Guess you're going for piano? I'm not sure if anyone else is going for that position, but sure I think you can do that. Yeah, the credit for the sheet music/song/whatever should be stated in an organized fashion afterwards. Also, yes... NO PUTFILE! Kei-kun:: There are sites on the first post of the karaoke thread. Sendspace is a good one I think or any uLing site that has a "click and play" type link. You simply click on the link the member posted, and the song plays (Quicktime). Side Note (to the JUDGES; names won't be called out for past posted reasons [Michiyo]): Make sure you already have Quicktime! Ryoko:: Dang, you posted last with the most questions to ask me. Well, let's see. The song length has to be at least from 1.00 to 1.30 (minutes). Try to keep it within 5 minutes. (-_-) You are more then welcomed to post your audition songs in the karaoke thread though once I finally made the auditions thread... I better not see any comments that can simple be posted in the karaoke thread. I'll have a link and everything, so no worries. (>.>) About the design, make it so that it represents the band at least... so it must be... honorable? Also, if you become a singer and the designer (good chance [right now] you can become one), don't stress yourself too much. You can simply resign from one of the positions and I can assign it to someone else. Once again, some uLing sites can be posted on Gendou's post, the first post of the current karaoke thread.
