^^ (REALLY REALLY HAPPY...embarrassed as well)...^^ Thank you thank you thank you....lady maia (just keep on practicing & i know you'll be able to draw Tomoyo....besides your Sakura's are amazing!!), Otaku, firemiste, gij, le0na, selene, project koganei (i'm a guy by the way but i know what you meann...hehe), ayeca, rin, & lei8iel....hugs & kisses to all. Again it makes me feel really good inside knowing that you like what i do. I love to draw it's always been a passion of mine to improve & just get better....doing the best i can. So Thank you all again! @ le0na...^^ Kakashi looks really good....i love your shading (not overdone)...i envy you cause it takes me a looong time to draw male characters. Athena i absolutely love.....her expression is really cute (i like cuteness)....perfect use of shading...again not overdone. I like her pose as well...^^ I'm so glad this thread is still alive & kicking.....very talented people here in Gendou....great to share my stuff with all of you! Keep up the fabulous work everybody...i'm always rooting for people who love to draw! I always say..."There's an artist in everyone....but it's up to you to bring it out!"  |

I've been gone for a month or so (due to some travelling and work commitments) -- you guys are making me jealous!!! I need to get back drawing and scanning..... Great effort! |

whoah~! I've been gone from this thread for a long time... anywho... @izumo: I thought you were a GIRL! Because you always draw girls... and I always see people drawing an anime in their own gender... ^^ @gij: same reason as above... (tagalog) akala ko lalake ka! sorry~! wow confusing... still can't draw tomoyo... >.< last time I tried I almost want to throw my sketch pad... argh... super long hair! damn you tomoyo~! hehehe joke~

Ummmm...eerrr....hmmmm....(ponders).....wierd many of you guys really thought i was a girl....ummm....okkkkaaaay O_o ? No worries....to answer the question of why it takes me a LOOOONG time to draw male characters....well it's simple if you really think about it. The main reason is...ummmm....hmmmm...well i'm not really sure what girls want in a male character. You see i draw mainly females cause that's how i picture my ideal girl. No offence to all the females on this forum....even though i neve met any of you...you're all probably very beautiful ladies...& i respect all your opinions...good or bad. Anyways it's hard for me to picture the ideal male character....i may draw a guy & think he's cool but to a female POV (point of view) it may be horrible. Since i'm not that confident in my appearance (like alot of people) i don't know what attracts female readers....sorry i'm kinda not making any sense but i hope you understand what i'm trying to get at. So if you can help me that would be wonderful....list what you as a reader expect in a male character...looks...hair...appearance...etc.You can give examples...but i tend to stray away from the stereotypical male & try to add my own style to them. I watch mainly "Harem" anime & you know what the male looks like in those....(Keitaro, Keiichi, Tenchi....). After i get some pointers...i'll post up what i come up with. Thanks a bunch.....this flaw (other than COLORING...ARRRGGG) is what is keeping me from finishing my manga story. PS:...ooops didn't realize how long this post is.....gomen. |

Hey you guys all rock! YOu people are talented!!!! I have to say, I am not bad myself.But since i take lessons my drawings are considered... erm.. not so nice. YOu guys still are a bunch of talents. ^^
