Key:: "*grapes*"

/rofl~ :D

Ayu:: I like that signature.
The colors make it feel even more special. XD

Kazuma:: Haha, the second one you gave to a n00b around here somewhere.
Nice stuff from you as well.
I'll post this .gif character when I'm done with it.
I can't find my bouncing ball .gif I'm working on in school, and it was almost done, too. T-T

Well it's in school, but I just decided to make a new .gif using a sprite sheet, so it won't be that great.

Question:: Do you use the pen tool to trace that dude's hair or something?
I never used it before and I'm just "reading" about vectors, at least, I think that's what your graphix usually are? :D

@Dangel: I use the pen tool on every vector I make. DX It takes some time to get used to, but yeah, it's well worth it. I highly recommend learning it's greatness, lol. Helps you out a lot.

The picture in my sig was entirely vectored using the pen tool. Took quite some time though, since I believe it was my first. DX Also alsoooo, people usually say not to make vectors in PS, but in Illustrator. I actually disagree, sometimes they turn out rather well. I like my Hiei vector. DX

@Key: So that's how you do it. I need learn that, now.

[edit]What about the black outlines?

Re: Share your Graphix
Link | by devils-angel on 2007-03-30 13:07:07
Kazuma:: True, true. :D

Key:: Yeah, it does take some time.
I'll try some art during my summer session.
I'll be greater by the time I enter next year (school).
Thanks for the little advice. ^_^

Well, I'm done with my boucing ball .gif.
Not done 100% on it, but done working on it I mean.
I'm currently making those .gifs that involve using sprite sheets.
They're pretty funny to make.
I hope to get that done tonight or Saturday/Sunday maybe.
I'll post it here then.

@Kazuma: Hm, doing black outlines on vectors in photoshop is near impossible. D: Hm, if you want to do black outlines, you should use illustrator. :3 Black outlines like this, right? DX (mine are really skinny D:)

Or, even thicker outlines. Illustrator is a vector based program, soooo yeah, it'd be best to stick with Illustrator (plus the pen tool is so much easier to handle in it. DX Photoshop's pen tool is so weird.) But I haven't made any vectors with black outlines as yet. XP I don't like black outlines, black outlines I do not like. But I should probably try it. ;o;

@Dangel: Yaaaay, I'm excited to see it. I'm so horrible with .gifs, I should really improve myself. DX Your skills probably surpass mine at moving pictures. D; rawr!

Key:: I still consider myself a noob, though I learn "secret" things that I haven't shown yet. *sinister smile* >XD
Nice pen vector thing of ITACHI, too.
I need to read about that later on in my life! o(-_-o) ~ahhhh

Well, here's my first attempt with sprite sheets.
These are fun to play around with, yet take some time to think it over.
This was like, a 90+ layer .gif?
Not sure if that's a lot or not that much at all, really...
I had a background with it, but I decided to take that out since it was kind of rushed.
I need that class period to work on the next class period, lol.
Well, here it is anyways... mind me blabbering on about school... (-_-)

Truthfully, this did take time, but I did it fast.
Also, the background was rushed as well, so I just took it off.
This might not be my best/last&only .gif using sprites...
I have a few more I can play around with; later though... :4

About the bouncing ball one, that .gif was WAY better!
I made everything from scratch, but it got lost in my school's H-Drive, so I can't find it anymore.
The school's computer's been effing up lately, and not only that, my friend hasn't brung in the pictures I took for another project, and it's pissing me off as well cause we're supposed to compete against other classes (who have the same teacher), and I'm not going to sit out and get an "F".

Well, more to come anyways.
I still need to learn more in Photoshop, and I'm not that big of a fan with animation, lol.
Who knows, maybe I'll like it, I'unno. (3

@ Key

wow you're doing vectors~? That's great~! I do vectors too dattebayo~! X3

@ DANGEL

amazing~! You made those sprites yourself? Really nice, you're good at pixelated images as well as the framerates ^^

Well I can show you one of my vectored arts:

it was created using a pen tool in photoshop X3 here's another one, I used linearts this time:

Imppy:: I didn't actually make everything; found the sheet somewhere online.
I just used the sheet to make what I actually made... the animation. :D
I wouldn't say I'm good since this was my first time using this side of Photoshop/ImageREADY.

Also, I hardly use ImageREADY, yet I use it for gendou.com the most (so it seems), lol.

Well, I have a new look (avatar/signature).
You can just look for my posts on this page or so to comment, lol.

Oh, and I already commented these in the other thread, hope you got 'em... I think you did but again these are nice and I need to learn vectors, soon. ^_^

@ DA

I see~! :3 well I've tried animating the sprite sheets once, but it seems a bit hard to do since you have to put every frame in the same axis as the last one, I always make so many mistakes because of that dattebayo~ T-T

Yeah, I've read your comments last time already XP I can't wait for your vectors though, you seem to enjoy Photoshop as much as I do :3 I mean you're already good at avatars XD especially the fonts, I can't install fonts properly because of the system requirements (still at Win98, the barely surviving system on the planet dattebayo~) and plus, I use old school Photoshop 5 >_>

lol long post to DA is looooooooong XD

@ Luvi

da harhar~ these aren't nice things tebayo~! These are...you know, little works of an amateur XD which makes you feel all tingly inside o.o okay, that's creepy ._.

Imppy:: That would be weird, getting an "older" version of Photoshop to match a slower computer (lol).
Just get a new computer or something?
Anyways, I'm not sure what you meant by "long post" to me, it wasn't that long, lol, but er... yeah I'll get vectors in my system soon, but I need to master some 3D arts in Adobe for next year.
I'll aiming for this contest that I couldn't participate this year, but next year, I hope to shine in my school and bring home the gold, or er... money (for the class) or er... yeah...

Anyways, hope to see new arts soon! :3

You can use other anime images and use vectors like that, I think?
Anyways, this is your entry for the new contest!
Good luck with that, by the way.

@ DA

Yeah, I might need a new computer or probably just upgrade my system XD but I need to install a burner first since my important files are stored here ;_; I don't wanna lose them. So you're aiming for 3d? wow, I can't wait to see that tebayo~ XD I do have plans for practicing 3d arts myself too :3

lol never mind the long post thing XD ehh...er...yeah X3

@ Ayu

Nice graphic designs, Ayu~! Especially the colors and background dattebayo~ :D

There are numerous ways to look at 3D.
Some are easy, some are "sort of" easy, yet take some thinking and careful planning out, and some are just "*drop dead*" -ish.
For my signature this time, I was gonna go for a 3D logo or something (no background or transparent), but I didn't find any tutorials to help me explain things so I just did another regular one instead.
I think you'll see my work increase in skill as time goes on, and I should see the same from you guys.
It helps for one to get better, by seeing things to get better for, like a reason to get better, or something.
Helps me anyways. (3
