That's right. We want people to RP, but we want to encourage people to join RP's, not create them. We have at least 1 RP of every type here already, whether it be reality, fantasy, science-fiction, whatever. We have at least one, there are too many variations or RP's out.    |

There shouldn't be a limit on how many rp threads there are, I simply suggested we get rid of the ones that no one is posting in... if its in the third and fourth pages, and no one's posting in them, then destroy them, that's all... Variations are ok as long as there aren't just a few minor differences. Edit: And one more thing, its not that I need someone to back me up, I'm just not going to call every single author...  |

yea i agree... whichever ones are not active. i'd say take a look at the ones where no one has posted for a while, which is usually the last couple of pages of hte rp threads.    Warring States: NOW HIRING - evil geniuses, corrupt state leaders etc. |

and then a guy happens to come along and revive them. the creaters should take the initiative and destroy the threads themselves instead. hey, maybe we could form a stickie educating people on it... |

Gendou City is very fun and can be very addictive, ask around. It's where you can be most creative, and post with other people (helps to know more about them as well). If you read Gendou's first post (first post of this thread) he has 3 important rules, Be Nice, 100 post/day limit, and have fun. Also be very creative as well and "Godding" isn't fun so try to avoid it. XD *especially don't double post in here*

Some people are trying to ignore some common RP rules, like they are now trying to control each other's characters and such. Avoid that, unless with permission. I want to aim at the formal RP style, in the actual RP topics they usually form a paragraph style RP, complete with details, and long dialogues, perfect grammar. But I'm not fit for that yet, you need to read word by word posted by the RP members, and you know how long they post. So, I'm not good into that =P  |

Yeah, I'd rather stick to the loose RP format. I could do the heavy RP format with lots of grammer checking and paragraph stuff but that just doesn't seem fun. If I wanted to write a novel I would. lolXD As for controlling characters, I havn't really seen any of that. Although I'm only part of two RP's. Also the number of RP's is rising again. Any progress that was made before on getting rid of dead threads is gone. We need people to delete thier dead threads. |

Well maybe these dead threads can last for the future members of this site. This site is running well and I doubt I'm going to be posting here the next 20 years, LOL. Also more anime is comming out, meaning more anime-type threads will open up quickly when it does.

Yeah, but if we leave them there we're just wasting space. Who knows how long it could take for a group of people to resurect a thread. A dead thread died for a reason, becuase there wasn't enough interest. |
