Okay then, week four's theme is now set, so we'll wait a little bit until this week's theme ends. I still have to send Kei my nomination/vote. Forgot to tell him about it last night on messenger. About you being online, that's great. I just gotta dL Skype and whatnot now. ^.^; I have some plans this morning (wow, "plans"), so yeah I'll be out for a bit but when I get back, we can talk. One day left. I hope a LOT of members join for my week. It can be complicated, confusing, nerve recking, frustrating, easy, smooth, etc., but that'll only be the case on how you decide to do things. I won't reveal the information yet until, what, Monday? I have the "okay" from Michiyo, so it's all set. The only thing I can say so far is that it won't involve anything with "text"... well, it might be, but not like the first three themes we had so far y'know? I think we need more people to vote so please do so. » Michiyo, sorry I didn't get Skype for you today. Well, this week's theme kinda sucked because not everyone has the font style/face that people are using...so yeah good luck guys. :) But it was fun. Now to wait for DA's scary theme...haha. x]

It's nothing that special, trust me. You can make it easy, hard, etc., not me. I doubt a lot of people will join this week's theme (under me) as well. It involves you making something in your program editor and whatnot. The people who might compete have Photoshop I think, so I don't have to worry about that. I'll wait a bit until Kei announces the winner. Then, I'll introduce my theme. I have no clue who'll win Kei's week, so just keep sendin' in votes if you haven't done so already. -------

Ah, it's nothing so "cool" or anything. Congrats to Asdert... by the way. So, let's see here: Now for this week's theme (Week #4), I think it'll be a bit easier then HTML. This week, members will have to make a .gif that really makes the board members laugh. Something funny, yet something appropriate as well (remember the rules, but you should be fine). A pretty good example can be something like this (borrowed from DN from this thread): Now this is clearly something that might be difficult, complicated, etc. to do for a few members. It doesn't have to be that technical, but technicality will be involved here. Your creativity can go nuts! You can think of anything to do. Anime, movies, people, food, etc. Let your imagination go wild, but now here are the rules for your .gif: I don't know if the size of the .gif matters since it's not a sig or avatar, so don't worry about the size (until someone says something) Each .gif should have 10-15 frames (at least 10!) Each frame's length CANNOT be 0.00 in length Now some can be that length, but the entire .gif must be 2 seconds or longer Limit to how long? Well you're not making a movie here, so try not to stretch it out TOO far... If you decide to use an image like the .gif above, post the source where you found it so I can see what you did! I'd prefer if you use this to post your source (NOT required!): <a href="[insert your link here]"></a> Requirements: Adobe Photoshop (AP 7, CS2, or CS3) or the GIMP or Flash! Adobe ImageReady Your chosen images or whatever you decide to use... Now if members have a problem with this, there is another option. Another option? Can I do that? Well... I don't know... >XD Anyways, I'll keep things moving along here. For those who have Microsoft Paint and who want to participate, I know how you feel. But this option might be easier then the .gif, although the .gif could be more fun if you commit to it. So, this option won't be to make a .gif, but a .jpeg/image of a short comic strip! It has to be funny as well. Of course, who reads boring comics strips? Now for this option, you cannot use another comic strip, edit the talk bubbles, and use it as your own, NO! You must find the images on your own, make a comic strip table (you know what they look like), and make a small joke out of it... or something to make us smile/laugh. Rules for this option: You can't use another existing comic strip, simply by editing a few things here and there, no! You need to create one comic strip containing 5 boxes (minimum) You need 5-8 talk bubbles Keep the sizes of things organized. I like neat and organized things. ^_~` The boxes don't need to be all constructive, just something simple that doesn't distract the main comic (of course) You can use whatever program you like (Photoshop, The Gimp, etc.) Your finished product should be in thumnailed form (use ImageShack!) Since it'll be thumbnailed until someone clicks your link, a size limit has not been created yet (it has to be large enough, but not some wallpaper size now...) Now since I can find a nice one quickly, and some people (you know who you are) have seen this comic in the Haruhi Rarest Image thread. It's not some Manga or Doujinshi page, but it's good enough!: [note] Anyone who uses this image will be DQed, so don't even. It's an "example"... >_>` Now for the main thing(s) you need: Now if you have Photoshop or the GIMP, you're set! For those who only have Paint, no worries. You can definitely enter! Lastly, you can make it black and white, but I want to see color! The main thing highlighted in your comic strip is thee comic itself. Go easy on the border; it doesn't have to be constructive now. XD Er, I think that's all for now. I'll edit something if I need to then, but yeah. You get two choices. You can go either way. You're more then welcomed to try and do both, though. ^_~` Ask questions if you need to. There's surely a ton of mistakes in this body. ^_^; -------

congrats to asd! ^-^ and goodbye dressed posts :P DA: so we work on this animation/comic for the whole week and post it here at the end of the week? Am I getting it right? Or we have to put it in every post for gendou members to see as the week goes on? I'm not very good with photoshop, and I'm not that funny either... this will be tough... I'm having second thoughts on joining :P

Yeah, you post it here at the end of the week. No worries, I can wait a week to see what you guys create. >|3 You can turn it into an avatar or a signature (if you're making the .gif), but make the full sized version first, then you can do whatever you want with it. Like I said before, the size (kbs) might be a problem if it's turned into a sig or avatar, so you can do whatever you want and post it in the thread, here, at the end of the week without worrying about the size. Oh, you can choose with what you want to do, not do both. You can do both, but you can only submit one in as "your entry." Doing both won't give you bonus points or something. XD -------

Basically, yes. Your finished product will be submitted by the end of my week... or whatever. Until then, you can do whatever you want. Remember, you can choose to do both. Only one will be as your entry. Doing both is just something you can do for fun. You have the choice of doing a funny .gif or a funny comic strip. Please know the rules carefully. -------
