those are not my guess though, i got it from some random website i really like the pace of this series, it's just perfect it seems like minori gave translation of some german vocabs from time to time, (uh they really force to to learn german ><) uh yuuko is too kind to be human, she's really like an angel after hearing the op few times i actually like ebullient future betetr than euphoric field, both are great songs but apparently not so many fans like ebullient future

I noticed that a new ending song will appear soon, so far episode 4 still has Mizuki's song. The new song will be sung by Yuuko's seiyuu & since she did such a good job on Yuukyuu no Tsubasa i have high hopes. Anyways episode 4 was nice especially the end with Mizuki & Kuze sleeping under a tree. Mizuki has this dream when Yu appears telling her about Kuze but she already knows about his condition. The funniest part is when Mizuki asks Yu to do a prayer, What Yu does & says is hilarious!!! It's much more significant than 'God'! Great moment. @ Raiz-san I found a site that translated all the german words & phrases throughout the series. Some of these are quite significant to the overall theme of the series. I'll try to dig it up for you if you are interested. I forgot to bookmark it the first time so when i find it again i will this go around. As for Ebullient Future vs. Euphoric Field. Eb Future is still a great song but i feel it is missing that 'umph' that Eu Field has. Although i'm eager to hear the japanese version of Eb Future...for some reason the japanese version of Eu Field sounds better than the english counterpart. So maybe the japanese version of Eb Future will be too. We'll find out soon enough cause the release date for the ending & opening songs are coming up...in fact maybe even tommorrow.  |

I haven't started watching this series yet (I should), but I wanna join in on the mini discussion about ebullient future. xD I LOVE THIS SONG. It's so beautiful (Tenmon's works are amazing as always)!!! I agree that the "umph" from ebullient future is somewhat lacking, but not so much that it isn't there. Ebullient future just gives out a different type of feeling. Though I have to admit, I didn't like the electric guitar in the middle that much. xD They made up for it with the awesome violin afterwards though. If you guys are deciding which song you like better, listen to the japanese version of ebullient future first (which is what I'm listening to right now <3). Like Izumo says, the japanese version of euphoric field just sounded better than the english. Anyway, after all this, it's hard to like one more than the other. At the moment, I like ebullient future better, but I'm probably biased since it's a "new song". If I were to listen to both after a few months, my opinion might change. |

i just heard the full version of ebullient future an the japanese version s well i gotta say i love the english version better even the lyrics is kinda weird at some point but i might get used to it. funny thing is both subber (chihiro and menclave) didn't get the lyrics right especially at "I wander for my discoverer" and the lyrics from the album is "i wonder why my tears come at night". Before looking at the album i actually thought both subber already got it right lol. but seriously try to play the song and sing it with chihiro and menclave subs, and the try to sing it again with the lyrics from the album and see if you find it weird, or maybe it's just me one thing that make me like ebullient future better is because its more fast pace. but i have to agree with you suzaku-san, its hard to like one more than the the other. btw the other song "pray" is also great, it doesn't have anything to do with the anime tho xD

After listening to the full version of both versions of Eb Future i'm undecided on which sounds better. The english one sounds great so does the japanese one, but i found the japanese song to have more flow. Nonetheless still awesome songs from ELISA & Tenmon. When it comes to violins & piano in a song Tenmon has it down!!! The musid is epic that's for sure. Also i found myself listening to Mai Goto's version of Eb Future alot. Alot slower paced than the original which is maybe why i found it so relaxing...these alternate versions of the opening song by the seiyuu's from both seasons are all nice songs. I wonder how Yumiko-san's version will sound like since she's doing the next ending theme. Like i mentioned before i liked her version of Yuukyuu no Tsubasa. Anyways just downloaded episode 5 so i'll see it soon after i log off. I'll post my thoughts at another time. |

i saw episode 5, damn it's feel good to hear kizamu kisetsu again xD of all ending song kizamu kisetsu is my fave, i don't think we gonna hear that again unless kei will appear in some more episodes we prolly gonna see yuuko's ending theme next episode, its halfway already

@ Raiz-san cute new avy btw! Really?! I didn't really hear the song in the episode unless it was the instrumental version. Where was it heard? They may do one more with Mizuki before showing Yuuko's end theme, cause they are about to enter the bulk of Mizuki's storyline & her relationship with Kuze. Now that they revealed Kuze's ex at the end of the episode. She couldn't be with Yu so she went with Kuze... Nice to see the sisters re-united in the series after so long, a touching moment between the two. More secrets revealed for Yuko & her 'brother' who in the anime is still a jerk sometimes...same as in the game XD *Booooo!!!* Oh yeah 'THAT' item that Yuko has, if it is what i think it is than....i'll leave it at that. |

@izumo-san: thx lol <3 reimu, anyway the song i refering to is the one at 3:48. Well its not kizamu kisetsu, the name of the song is actually "True Feelings" from the 2nd ost album but it has the same melodies as kizamu kisetsu which is Kei's theme my fave ef char after Yuuko xD is the game worth playing? or the anime already cover everything?

*cough* Okay, so I Just finished watching 5 episodes on one sit... It's a good anime I must say,, and how they present it (I mean the storyline and all) It's very unusual and unique.. and that's the charm of it XDD Though I Havent finished The Tales of memories yet.. (Yeah, I Know.. I Blame my mood for this) I Still get the majority of the stories including some of the main events... Kuze is a creepy one.. Wait, not creepy.. Maybe Eccentric will do And I Really laughed when Yu said that thing on Episode 4 XDD Looking forward for the next Episode!! Oh yeah.. Saay... I Noticed something Awesome... Regarding the titles of the episodes XDD if you take the First letters of everything they are gonna be "Future" But backwards if you start reading from Episode One.. Well, I Think if you continue it further, it's gonna be Ebullient Future ever, read, union, turn, utter, flection See? XDD  |

@ Raiz-san Hey you're right! it is 'True Feelings'! I thought you meant the actual vocal song when you mentioned it. It played during the scene with Kei jogging & Yuki again appearing out of nowhere right? Yeah Kizamu is a nice song i definitely agree with you on that. BTW the first OST for melodies is almost here...i think it is early next month..looking forward to it!! As for the game! YES!!! it is SO worth playing. I rank it up there with CLANNAD in terms of storyline & of course the presentation of the game is beautiful. Both games are HUGE though takes about 2-3 gigs of space & you have to alter your region to be able to play the 1st game, everytime you want to play it you have set the region to japanese as well as the timezone to japan otherwise it won't work. The 2nd game you don't have to which is odd since they did all that for the first game. @ Renma-san Yeah, Raiz-san & myself were pondering earlier in the thread what word the series will spell out since the first series was Euphoric Field. However they'll have to combine the last few letters to fit the 13 episode time frame of the series. So 'lu' & 'be' will probably be the last 2 episodes...i'm thinking believe for 'be' & not sure about 'lu' :P. When Yu said 'May the force be with you' it was f***in AWESOME!!! And what he said afterwards that it has more meaning!!! Priceless!! |

@renma san: hey that's a really good observation, i already know about it before but i didn't find it by myself. @izumo san: my pc always set to japanese and size its not a problem for me, but is it translated? Cos im pretty sure in ef every single word have deeper meaning than what it seems so i can't guess the storyline like what i did when i play other visual novel. And yeah that scene is pretty funny, he never put himself with god even for just a joke xD ah can't wait to play the game and indulge myself in Makoto Shinkai's art and Tenmon's music

As of yet there is no translation for both ef games although i do hear there are some groups in the process of doing the first game. Not sure how far they are into the project, haven't checked in a long time. Just like for CLANNAD & Fate it will take some time to do it cause since the game is pretty big there is ALOT of text to convert. The first anime series covered the majority of the first game, they did add Chihiro's route to the anime though. Her route was featured in the next game along with Mizuki & Yuko last. Actually Makoto Shinkai only did the op & end movies for the games (& maybe his style influenced the overall feel for the game) but for the most part it is Naru Nanoa (Sola, Da Capo fame) who did the character designs. She drew mostly the female characters cause she is soo good at them, her male designs not so much. Another artist handled the designs for Yu & comp. *off topic* Visited minori's site the other day, seems they are in the process of making another game called "eden ~they were only two on the planet~" Not scheduled until 2009 though but expect more goodness from Shinkai & Tenmon. |

Finally watching this series~ Only saw episode one and two so far, but I'm loading the third one right now. <3 I think I like this season more than the first season. =] I just love learning about the pasts of characters from previous seasons. ^^ So would the main characters in this season be Himura + Yuuko and Kuze + Mizuki then? So that's two couples. And then there's that other girl...Nagi I think? Lol sorry, I'm kinda just talking to myself. It's easier to sort things out if I type it out. XD Ignore all this rambling~ But yeah, watching this reminds me of how good the previous season was, and the artwork & OST is amazing as usual. This is 13 episodes like Memories, right? How short...T_T [edit] And just finished episodes 3 and 4~ It makes so much more sense now that I've seen those. And I like how all the characters connect to each other~ Btw, I don't get something. Mizuki says she's from Japan, so are they not in Japan? ?_? Judging from all the foreign texts that show up, are they in Germany? Or...? |

hmm i also kinda confused about that part, but according to the prologue in eps1 the other otawa should be like illusion. in episode 5 Nagi also mention the other Otawa is in Australia this is the prologue from episode 1 two cities by the name otowa exist: the real city built upon burned down bricks and the fraudulent city, which has carried the city's image to peaceful, beautiful lands it bears a painfull past and its cornerstone is this misfortune as everyday activities are woven the city become engulfed in the sparkles called human being the real city becomes a shadow of fake while the fake city become reality what is sought there after time, space, and repeated memories have left it unrecognizeable, that is i think i wouldn't be bother about this until i finish all the episodes

@ Suzaku-san The series takes place in 2 places, one is in Japan the other in Australia. As you may know there was an earthquake that occured in one of the cities. Which one of the cities they really never showed but it was eventually rebuilt. It is kinda difficult to explain, just continue watching & you'll understand better than having me explain things. If you have ever seen some of the trailers, previews & some images in the series they do show some ruins of a city. Most of these occur with Yu around reminicing about things. You know that they are in Australia when they show Chihiro & the station she seems to always hang around...when they show Yu/Yuko that is in Japan. ************************** Saw the RAW version of episode 6...guess i was mistaken this episode is ALL about Yuko, very few flashback scenes this time...so Mizuki & Kuze are shown in a few scenes only. This is mostly all Yuko & Yu!! Right off the bat with the intro you just hear the instrumental version of Eb future. The whole sequence even removes the sillouhettes of the characters, so all you see is the german translation of Yuukyuu no Tsubasa. I had to download a few versions of the episode just to make sure it wasn't a screwup. More info is revealed about the secrets of Yuko & Yu. Also there is a tender scene when Yu & Yuko finally share a moment. There is ALOT of symbology throughout the episode some pretty criptic. Much more dramatic than the previous episodes, having kinda a darker feeling to it. Especially the ending, the one after the end credits...it showed some black & white scenes that is really weird. Yuko's ending theme is played & it is a pretty song. The images mostly show a younger version of her. Again the music by Tenmon is fabulous. Lastly as for the spelling of a word with the letters of the titles...we all think that it will spell out Ebullient Future but the next episode titles messes it all up. As far as i know you can't spell Ebullient when the letters for the next episode is 'RE'? So maybe the word will be FOREVER? If that happens we may get to hear 'Ever Forever' which is the ending theme for the last game. |

i finally watch the episode 6 and hell what an amazing episode this is the most painfull and depressing anime i ever seen for a while but damn im so pissed at that bastard. Seriously i never been getting so mad from watching movies, but they way they reveal Yuuko's past is just so precise and emotional. its only 23 minutes but it feels like 12 hour when Yuuko tell her past, i almost cant bear to watch it any longer, but i finish it in the end ok now i need something more cheerful, hopefully toradora can cheer me up

(*@&#(*@!(#!@ I'm sooo Filled with Hatred towards that Bastard -.-;; Seriously D:< This is the first time I Feel this way ever since I Played Hisui's route or Watching School Days around 8 months ago... Dang, those are Emotional indeed.. >.> And the Song in the end..
