Re: SOLI'S TAGALOG LESSONS~!!

weeh~! Our Filipino language have similarities of Spanish, since we are influenced by the Spaniards through invasion and stuff dattebayo~ That's why when you hear Spanish words like, "vintana" (window) that's also Filipino, but a deep language sort of way~ I dunno, if it's Filipino, but I know for sure it's a Visayan dialect that I use tebayo~ ¦P Same with mesa (table) or sira (close) maybe~ just maybe~ @_@ |

yup... I'm translating it to spanish to because I find it really interesting... all the similar words with tagalog, of course thanks to Fernando de Magallanes (Ferdinand Magellan?) and his crew... lol this is really cool, whenever you post any other word in tagalog, I'll try to see if it sounds like a spanish word, ^_^, is that ok? |

nice thread soli.. i remember that there's a thread here that was called "teach gendou tagalog" i wonder what happened to that thread.. Questions: what = ano where = saan when = kailan why = bakit how = paano in reading tagalog words/sentences it's just like japanese a - e - i - o - u there are english words that have no tagalog translation so use them as is. suggestions: you should start teaching tagalog sentences now |

It's nice to see Filipinos willing to teach this tricky language to others. I agree though. Start teaching sentences (pangungusap)! Although I think starting with verbs (pandiwa) will be a good start. ^_^ "Teach Gendou Tagalog"? Hmm... I'm Filipino too, btw. ^_^ |

ng... err... well... *shy mode off* hello, i am Indonesian, and i joined another forum that has some filipino words because the majority of the members there are from the phillipines. (well, i want you all to know where the website is but i don't know whether it's a violation or not, to "advertise" another site...) and oh, sorry, but i don't know any bad-meaning words, so don't answer me if any of my questions are of filipino bad languages. what does "ashtig" and "kilig" mean? from what i read in my other forum, that word resembles reaction of "the one who saw/read/heard/feel something"...
do i have a signature? please tell me!
