As far as categories go, I think Favorite Club and Best Graphic Designer would both be good ones to keep. There are quite a few clubs here, and like what Haseo said, there have been a ton of Graphic Designers here that have improved and some that have even started this past year (Like myself, since I started earlier this year), etc. For chat, I'm not sure about categories since I hardly go there. Well, I only have one idea right now, and even that isn't really my idea. How about bringing back the Best Gendou Couple catagory? I was looking back a bit in this thread and saw this one being used in past awards nights. I think it's a good category, so I'll re-suggest it.  |

Well chat mods are more active than forum mods. I don't think it's fair if there's one category for mods, and a chat-mode wins for both the chat and forums. We know the forums are slow, but there's still work and threads to be locked and moved. I'd rather have Chat-Mode of the Year and Forum Mod of the Year instead of Mod of the Year (if category is what we're talking about).

I was thinking, that since we had so many new Moderator additions this year, we would do a category separate for them, but keep the Moderator of the Year; but now that I think about it, it might just be better to go along with the Moderator of the Year instead of having the one for new Mods too. I agree that we should keep the favorite Graphic Designer category. Although many of the oldies are inactive, some new ones have stepped up to the plate, so we shouldn't discount then. I do remember a favorite avatar/signature category last year, so we could do that again. I myself am going to have to advise that we don't do a "Favorite Anime Character" category mainly because there are so many people who have different favorite characters, ands there would be too many nominations I think and it would get really chaotic.

Hmm, are there less award categories than the previous one? I like Best GFX Designer cause it's been around almost forever. I miss like best avatar or best signature (or best "set"), but yeah old GFX designers are gone. :( What about maybe song of the year or something? Music video of the year? Since it's Gendou.com, they should probably be anime related (e.g. anime song of the year). Maybe Gendou.com anime OP/ED of the year or something like that since I don't think there's ever been an award for that. Just a thought but maybe something for games too? Anyways hope more people get back into this. Since I'm on "break" from school, I'll have time to be around more. P.S. Maybe this won't happen, but a music award relating to Korean music would be interesting... GO HALLYU WAVE! XD

Yeah. I will get right at it as soon as I finish up my exams. There's still lots of time, since it's for 2010, which hasn't ended yet. My time here won't end for a long time. I have far too much time on my hands and no life, so I'll be around for a while. I can't remember the last time that I didn't check the forum for longer than 1 day. Anyway, this isn't the topic for discussion on the forum's health. I'll be going ahead with the Awards Night around November, regardless of how active the forum is. |

Sucks, but a horrible fact to face when users get older, become less active. My time will probably be over sometime soon as well, but I visit as much as I can. :/

@Jon, Yea, I think it's better that way @DA Kinda noticed that as well. These days, it takes at least two days for a thread to get one new reply - and I visit quite regularly, about once every hour or so. I noticed at times, quite regularly, in fact, the Last Entry in the forum's home page is at the same time, the same person as it is a few hours back. It's pretty much barren these days...like most other forums I'm in - only a handful are active |

Probably should have responded to this earlier. @Haseo - I think I'm going to make this a yearly thing instead of twice a year. It gives the forum more time for new things to pop up, which means that there is a broader selection of nominee's available. The nomination phase for 2010 will probably start up in mid-November, then the voting will run through December and the winners will be announced in early January. |
