About Me: I'm in my senior year of High School, or at least will be once summer is over, and I'm going to be the president of my school's Japanese Culture Club. Despite what it sounds like, we mostly just goof off and watch anime. Though with me as Tyran- I mean president, I'll be holding fund raisers, cosplays, and general Japanese Culture anyway. I also plan to take Japanese in night school. So yeah, I'm not sure if I'm an 'otaku' because I know nil about the entire subculture, but I'm definitely a fan of anime/japanese culture in general. My favorite anime/manga, would have to be Bleach, with my favorite character being Kisuke. Awesome dude. My favorite band(s) would have to be Bump of Chicken, UVERworld, and Kaggra, while singular artists take the form of Wada Kouji and HIRO-X. I'm also a fan of Naruto, and Death Note, and I've watched other anime that I can't knock off the top of my head. Although I like Japanese Culture, I'm not in the least un-patriotic.... Okay, maybe I am. But I really don't care what you Yankees have to say about that. Despite popular belief, even though I only really listen to Japanese music and I mostly watch anime and read SOME manga, I am also loyal to a few brands of american entertainment. My favorite show, period, is House M.D. And ask damn near any of my friends, I'm like him in alot of ways. My favorite books are Harry Potter, Ink Trilogy, Inheritance Trilogy, Thief Lord, Maximum Ride, and Angels and Demons. I do have a few American artists I like, by the by. Billy Joel, Green Day, and a few single songs from artists I can't name. I AM a gamer. I love the Tales Series of games, but only the Core series. Summon Night Swordcraft Story is also good, but I haven't gotten a chance to play the second game. Shame really. I'm also a fan of Final Fantasy, but I'll take Tales over that anytime. And more recently i've gotten back into Pokemon with PEarl under my wing. Fighting games, like Guilty Gear, peek my interests as well. Games based of anime, aren't really my forte, (I DESPISE the budokai series) but I DO like the Naruto series of Ultimate ninja, and I'm hoping for a Bleach fighting game to be ported to america soon. Bleach Wii ftw! ultimate Alliance, Armored Core, and gears of War have to be my favorite games for the 360. Its my favorite system. I hate the PS3 (SONY HAS BETRAYED US) And I don't yet own a Wii so I have no honest opinion on that. By the way, while I'm a Nintendo/Microsoft fanboy, I in no way hate Sony. I hate the PS3. The ONLY reason I'll EVER get a PS3 is for Kingdom Hearts 3. As mentioned above, I would buy the devil's system for Kingdom Hearts, as its my favorite game of all time. I don't know why so many people hate it. But I LOVE IT. I'm single. Nor do I plan on changing that status any time soon. I'm actually quite FINE being alone. So -sticks tongue out- Umm... I think thats all I CAN tell you about me without being too indiscreet about my own secrets. If anyone is interested in what this deep dark secret is... Screw you. I only tell my closest friends, and if I ever get one, my significant other will know. (P.S. To my best friends, if you're reading this you KNOW what I'm talking about. And if YOU tell anyone, I will murder you in ways unimaginable to the human mind.) To finish things off, I want to be a doctor 'when I grow up'. After college I plan to go to Med School. If not that, then a forensics scientist or game designer are a close second, and third respectively. Everyone (That I know) who I tell says I'll never make it, since I'm way to lazy. Well if I don't, then I'll become... An author. Or something. I'll think of it when I have to cross that bridge.
