What is you impression of Japan?

For me I want to migrate to Japan and stay there till the day I die(that's my impression). My country is currently having friendly talks to strengthen ties between Japan. I hope it goes well *Crosses fingers* |

Yeah, my dream is to live in Japan, I love the country, traditional but also modern at the same time.    |

I'd visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. I've grown quite attached to my homeland.

| Ruthless, war-freak people. Why? Because when I was young, our History subject talked about the how Japanese conquered Philippines, killed people and bomb everything. Now, everything has cahnged. I think the opposite. |

I still can't really forgive the old Japan because they've killed my "ancestors" you could say and tried to take over the whole of Asia and even now the govt are not admitting their mistakes. I've heard too many violent stories from my grandparents to really forgive the old Japan. But that's the old Japan, and it's mainly the fault of the government but I still can't stand the Japanese people in the world today who thinks they are superior to everyone else (eg the whale hunting people). But I like Japan as a whole, the culture, the anime of course. I guess my advice to all those people who are really obssessed with Japan is that every country has their faults and good points. Don't forget the good in your own culture just because you like the culture of another country. Don't get me wrong, I'm an anime freak. =P I'll be waiting here. So if you come here, you'll find me... I promise. |

impression.. "it's just another country." =p i can think of a list of words/phrases which i myself find them closely associated with japan, though. like.. sushi, anime, manga. (yeah, as if others don't know about THAT)................ for the time being, i think "thinking of the japanese countryside gives me tranquility and serenity in my heart" will be a suitable answer.

| I want to visit there and if I like the area live there for a while. I am a patriot to America but I want to go to another country alot and Japan would be my first choice. Not just because of Tokyo, but I would love to go to the countryside. |

Good and bad.My friend Marie's lived there,and she says schools are horrible, and that students were cruel to her. In fact 50+ students die each year,from suicide. I'd also be quite afraid to live there,because of earthquakes,or tsunamis. However,I'm willing to risk it. My love of the culture and modern Japan,make me want to go there. I'm driven by that,and the passion of my dream to become a jpop or jrock singer. I want to live there.  |

zomg, im like,a total noob, but i saw this and thought, i haave to reply to this! so here it is: i looooove japan and everithing japanese! they make all the koul things in teh world, like manga, and suushi, and anime, and POCKY!!! im a pocky freak  |

a country that cant be described with words hahahahaha well it's my home country, and they have everything here i dont like one thing though, when you speak about activities some of your senior is like a killer (like mine in the kendou club and orchestra club) but for me it's four thumbs up XP  |

i loved Japan due to theie action of preserving their culture, and nature despite of their modernization i agree with megapunk1235...... most of the students die due to suicide the causes are classroom humiliation, depression, abuses...etc...etc..... well sorry about that I am a psychology student so... they are some of the reasons... but never the lass it a great country.... i really want to go there  --> |

ive heard that.. due to conspiracy and too much depresions concludes to ending their own lives. but it doesnt stop me from going there.. nuh uh...

japan is very clean and neat country, i like that. but im still wondering, clean and neat is close with discipline, and i hate too much discipline. |
