Manga over anime?

Haha, a question I want to ask as many people as possible. Storyline wise, which are usually better, manga or anime versions? In my personal opinion *cough, Yu Yu Hakusho, GANTZ, FMA, Naruto* the manga are better.

For the most part it goes Manga > Anime because usually the anime doesn't contain the entire story and sometimes an alternate ending is written. The manga will have all the little tidbits and extra explanation behind side characters too, well usually. Onegai Teacher is an example where I feel the anime was better than the manga. |

I definitely think that manga is better than anime. The manga is not only the original storyline, but sometimes it gives you little insights into a character's past through a mini story. Not only that, it's the character's original personality, not something altered by the anime makers. Although the anime is cool for a visual and sometimes (in my personal opinion) the drawing is better than the manga's, it fades compared to the manga. Like in Inuyasha, in the manga, Sesshoumaru is shown to chuckle (evilly of course) or smirk at his half-brother. In the anime, he barely twitches, he's like a statue. So that's my opinion.
There's only one thing guaranteed in life. Death.
