first off how is eating sushi japanese? people were eating it raw before they had fire. theyre not the one who discovered it. second japans history is bullshit dont believe em they lie a lot and say their country shouldve won world war 2 and that means hitler wouldve been your president about now. im hafu japanese and i hate my side cause my grandpa is korean and he survived through the japan/korean war and he said they captured and started human testing on em and had korea for 36 years, im ashamed of their history of not admitting to it but i hate their ancestors not the current japan tho. im glad for the a bomb dropping cause they decided to change their ways of war and went into electronic/ anime industry. even tho they are the most perverted race i have ever known. and you dont have to learn japanese to go to japan cause people in tokyo talk english.. its just outside of the city u need em. and its a plus if u can read and write.. cause i got lost on the highway once the subway has english too

well actually sushi was a method of preserving food and the rice was actually thrown away(until later on that is). sushi is a japanese style of preserving food turned into a dish, but of course there are other ways of preparing raw food(or not preparing it at all). I'm not exactly turning Japanese, I think I'm just mixing it in into our own local culture. I'm becoming mixed culture. XD |

i am not turning into Japanese even though i like animes and their musics Japanese does not really like being Japanese,unless they are anime lover o_o since i do not like raw food,i might quitting sushi unless if i had to eat,but i might decline sashimi just not my taste o_o in the olden days.. Japanese was described as cruel people creation of ninja is a proof though.. so i do not really think of being a Japanese much.. x.x i do not think i would able to fit in the Japan society hopefully this reply is not bashful i am sorry if i offended anyone m(_ _)m |

well not really japanese as a citizen.... but as a anime lover and japanese music fan (J-POP rockz forever i swear). and the chopstick(i know that not only japan has the chopsticks but i like how they handle the chopsticks), and maybe a little some of the seating while ya eat(seizha)....... anyways i like tempura and all but what i dun like is the sushi and sashimi (FORGET IT, dun like raw food).................... |

hey, im turning japanese too!!! my sister even said so! i find myself attracted to japanese boys, i love japanese music, shows, and culture. people can call you a "wannabe" and a "weeboo" all they want, but that's only cuz THEY don't have an intrest like all that is japanese.

Japan seems nice to visit and all. Okinawa looks amazing. I'd love to go. I grew out of weeabooism a long time ago though. No offense if you like japanese stuff, I do to. It's just that I've passed this whole "OMG JAPAN IS AMAZING I WANT TO BE JAPANESE!" phase. If you have a genuine interest in learning japanese (through methods that aren't watching anime) and would actually like to go there (for reasons other than anime), then go ahead. Broaden your horizons. Just remember that japan is not anime. It's japan. It's a country. It has a culture beyond anime, and it has good points as well as bad points (like any country). I'm just saying this because I care. Trust me, if you form your entire view on Japan based on anime and hot Japanese boys then you're in for disappointment when you actually go.  |

Well.... All my friends say i have the looks of a japanese girl(even my hairdresser says so) And my japanese is starting to improve vastly after watching Gintama for so long. I'm now able to converse smoothly in simple japanese!!! =P Hoka no minna, ganbatte kudasai!!!!  |

I'm turning into Japanese! Even my mom jeered at me telling me to go off marrying someone from Japan. I'm tryin to learn Japanese, then it would be easier when i have the chance to visit Akihabara & the areas nearby, it makes easier to deal with sellers there, especially if u r buying anime products, coz u never know if they r tryin to cheat foreigners of some sort stuffs.
