Are there any Xeno-series lover out there? I heard Xeno-series will be ended in Xenosaga III! Is that true?

From what most gaming insider sources are saying, yes.

The Xenosaga series is (sadly) slated to end with the release of Xenosaga III: Also Sprach Zarathustra, (Xenosaga III: And Thus Spoke Zarathustra), but I'm 100% sure they're going out with a big bang. If you've actually seen some of the pictures they've scanned up from Japanese gaming magazines, you'd know XS3 is something to look forward to.

Just like Chicopek said....unfortunately Xenosaga 3 will be the last of the series....which sucks cause i was hoping for a remake of episode 5 "Xenogears".

Ever since the poor judgement on Xenosaga 2....you know there would be problems when the main story writer Soraya Saga leaves the project stating differences in the direction of the series. She was the one who wrote the story for Xenosaga 1 & Xenogears along with her husband Tetsuya Takahashi.

However this is just coming from a "hopless dreamer"....the Xenosaga series may be over but that doesn't mean that the Xeno series at a whole is done....the next could be called Xenogears episode 1....etc.

Bah! I went nuts over looking over all the terms on wikipedia and the list of Xenosaga and Xenogears terms. I was trying to prove my teacher wrong and extract a theme and write an essay on the game. I loved the games so much but I ended up having to going through so much Jewish nomenclature, metaphors, foreshadowing, and all the other literary elements, that I got completely sick of it.

Has anyone else tried to figure out what EVERYTHING means?

The truth will set you free. 15 years later: The truth hurts.

The Xeno-series has many links to Jewish and Israelis backgrounds, and some contain links to many books written over time.

Places like GameFAQs are a great place to look for all the literary and historical elements in a game as complex as this one.

Oh, I'd rather edit my previous post here, Also Sprach Zarathustra is translated from Deustch (German) as Thus Spake (Spoke) Zarathustra, Zarathustra being a Hero-Prophet from the book of the same name.

Thus Spoke Zarathustra on Wikipedia

The creators of Xenosaga really put a lot of effort into crafting such a masterpiece. I can't help but feel that they're trying to nudge us in the gut and get us to find the hidden meaning underneath the game. Xenogears, to my recollection, had little/no connection to anything (Pardon me, I never finished Xenogears *shame*), unlike its' prequel.

Thought most people would enjoy completely digesting the WHOLE of Xenosaga's subtle message, others might find it difficult to swallow, there being so much and all.

All in all (to cut all the crap down to a single paragraph), don't read up on Xenosaga terms unless you like reading OR you have a lot of time, because there are SO MANY LINKS.
