Your Future

Some people Know what they want to be as soon as they are 5 years old. Some are told what to be by there parents. Some go for a Career that will make them rich but very depress later on in their lifes. My Question is why do we do it to ourself. Sure you want to have a job that pays well. But is it necessary to sacrifice your soul for something you do not want,but someone else wants for you ? I have enought family member who went to school for a occupation they did not want and are truly miserable with their fate. My Question is there any way to not repeat the same mistakes are Elders made to save us from repeating History. |

if you want a career, ask yourself first, what do you like doing, and the stuff that you like doing most likely be your career choice. don't ask, what would you want to do, cuz that would be a waste of time! Dark15: thanks, i will not repeat the same mistakes, elders did to save us from history. cuz, i'm not going for the career my parents is telling me to! |

I dont think my mom likes that I am going into Game Design...she hates us playing videogames. Anyways that is what I want to do so I am gana do it.

hmm..if you are trully brave you will stand to your right as a human being..but ofcourse thats so hard to do,duh we all know that.. they always say that parents knows whats good for us and will not let us be miserable[something like that >_<].. but how will they know whats right for us if they dont even know who is their son/daughter?they always make decisions for us..blah..blah..but this decisions arent what we want?!they are their dreams and why put the pressure on us? i make my own decisions when it comes to my life..but still with their consent and rules..

true. i do consult with my parents about what kind of path i want to take, and i do ask for their help when i face certain problems in life. their decisions, to us, might not be the best, but we can definitely learn something out of them since, after all, the have lived longer than us. however, a life being bound to merely fulfill parents' wishes and not able to chase your own dreams will be rather dreadful. i'm truly thankful that i have parents who simply let me be what i wanna be, though i totally have no idea what i'm gonna be in the future, after completing my course! o.O and personally, i think there's nothing wrong pursuing Game Design as a career. ^^

my parents don't mind what kind of future i take.they rather let me choose what i want to be rather than forcing their wishes on me.they know this better than me because they can't grasp what route they want for their future because of many restrictions. Game Designing as a career is nothing wrong.there's alot of gaming companies looking for game designers aren't they? |

| Well I am my own person. I decide what affects me. Whatever choice you make remember that it is yours to make. If you listen to your parents then they aren't making the choice for you, you made the decision to listen to them. |

OF cours we all want to do what, we want in life, or obtaine the job that makes us joyfull. BUT let us look at, an ecconnomic point of veiw the truth about life is, that the job you want in life may not. BE ecinomically viable to sustane you and or your family. THE fact of the matter, is that the truth herts, so you must adjust and make profestion choices, that will not make you happy but will provide for you.
