Who do you use? I'm hoping to learn Yun and Yang for some time but haven't gotten around using. And Yun I mean Genei Jin and Yang maybe with Super Art 1. But I'm also interested in seeing everyone's ending. Is there a website that tells so? |

when i play 3rd strike, which is very rarely, i use ryu. my bf was teaching me to play capcom vs. snk 2 and 3rd strike also, so he started me off with ryu, so i only know somewhat how to play him for the time being. as for a website with everyone's ending, i don't know of any, so...sorry. ^^;     |

Ryuuuuuu... Gotta love Ryu, a lotta people start out with him. BUT! There's people who abuse Shin-Shoryuken too much... (psst psst link up with a hurricane kick afterwards...) Where I see the action, the moron that "fixes" the cabinet ups the difficulty AND damage... So Chun Li does nasty damage. Ibuki's Youri-Odoshi is bad news. Even Gouki is...uhh. Never tried Capcom vs SNK 2. 'd love to try it. Too bad Yang's not in it. But Zero makes up for it! BTW, I love Ryu's Jab, Forward, Fierce color. So awesooooome. Personally I prefer Yun's alternate costume. Why? OMG, I coulda sworn I chose Duo Maxwell!! Hey! Super Art 4! Call in Deathscythe!! Naw, that's Bandai's idea and I'm pretty sure Capcom wouldn't be pleased and send in Cyberbot's Jin Saotome to go mech to mech... |

Revive this thread, SF3 fans! Remy player here. His supers are so versatile; you can use 1 for people who are mixup suseptable, i.e. Necro and Oro, and 2 against people who you can lockdown with EX moves, i.e. Yun/Yang, Hugo and the Shotos(sans Ryu1), and use 3 against Chun-Li by baiting the SA2 with an LoV and using 3 when you see the super flash. They will drop on you on XBox live cuz of this! |

Whenever I played this game, my hand hurts.. There's one time I played the game with my body position is so wrong, I hurt my body much.. and it turned out that I got a fever just 2 weeks before my elder sister wedding..

| My favorite 3rd strike characters are Urien(aegis relfector), Q(total destruction), Alex(stun gun headbutt), Ken(his thrid secial I forgot the name of it), Ryu(dejin hadoken), and Dudley(either rolling thunder or corkscrew blow). |

Wow Hattori, you can use a lot of character... Now I'm getting back into it. I've used a MP punch Necro and now I'm using an all black Yang. Yang with Super Arts II rocks! All the EX mantis slashes!! |

Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Dudley, Yun, Q, and of course Gouki. And I must borrow the game again from Veilansher, have to train with other characters lol. But from all of them, I can only use Ryu to easily defeat Gill. A little Upper-Shoryuuken-ShinShoryuuken cancel should do it. The others are... well, maybe two or three times Game Overs...

Personally, I like to use Makoto and Elena. Makoto's Abare Tosanami (Super Art II) has one of the coolest combo opportunities in the whole game! So much stun.....so much damage. In my opinion anyways. And Elena is just so much fun to use. Too bad she doesn't have too much in the way of combos....but there's the crouching MP link-up to Brave Dance (Super Art II) that balances that out :) Sometimes I'll use Hugo (Gigas Breaker), and Ryu (Denjin Hadouken).
I love satire. I just don't understand it.

I have a hard time using Elena. Parrying with her stance and the way she has to have meter, I'm not familiar with her style. Hmm... no Alex players here? Q? Oro? Sean? Ibuki? Urien? ... ... ...Anyone? |

We have a true player here! *nods to Shishio* I've got down some of Ibuki's main combos like c.LK, Raida; LP,MP,HP,HK; and I think I'm going to use Yami Shigure (Super Arts III). I'll try her tomorrow and see how it goes. Looks like I'm the few that play Yang and Ibuki. Wish I could learn Makoto... |

No, SA3 is OK, but SA1 is DEADLY! You can use it for chip damage, it is safe, and it has a lot of meter for her rushdown, which IS her game! However, I believe Ibuki has too little potential for full tournament play, if you want to play in one, I suggest Ibuki as your main, and another character, an overpowered one, like Dudley or Ken, to wipe out scrubs so you don't waste mental energy for Ibuki. Even using Ibuki though, it is hard to go far, but you can still have fun, that is most important. IS ANYONE COMING TO EVO (SF3:3rd Strike National Tournament)? Las Vegas. August 13-16. |

I know Ibuki pros choose SA1 most of the time, but I still like to play her with SAIII for fun. Sometimes. Rarely. Actually my best character is Ken. Not scrubby I assure you, but I don't play him that often. EDIT: Got back from practicing. Ok, I'll change to SA1 for Ibuki now on... I felt like I needed more Kunais for her gameplay... What's it like at a tournament Shishio? When you said Ibuki as main and another character, meaning you choose more than one?? Wow... Then I'd choose Yang and Ken!! I'm not going to be able to make it to the event Shishio. Parents are strict about games (I play at a nearby arcade that they don't know I do but hey I still do my studies.) and I don't have a ride really. |

| i've mastered all characters ( well some most than others) im most effective with Chunli,Ryu,Ken,Yang,Yun,Alex,Sean,Ibuki,Elena,Makoto,and Remy. I tired of fighting the computer all the time i wish some tournaments would come over to Memphis TN or somewhere in the South. everything cool is in the West |
