Anyone ever see the Samuria X movie?

This movie is ravishing and beautiful. It basically comes off the Rurouni Kenshin series(great anime). People get confused with this movie because they be like,"he looks different" or "he's all grown up". Well that's basically what happened. Everybody grew up by atleast 10-15 years. The reason I say 10 "to 15" is because Kenshin has a son named Kenji, and he's 15. but besides his age, everything just looks great. the theme of the movie was great, music was perfect, matching everything. The only problem I had with this great movie was that there wasnt alot of fighing. Kenshin still talks the way he does. He would of been an Oscar nominated actor if he was a person in real life. This movie is really sad. and after all the credits go by, they show a scene where its his son Kenji with another girl that looks likes his mom. Just to let you know, that you can't forget about "The Manslayer" There's an uncut version but I only seen the Regular version...

| I watched it...it was good but...you already said it...it was different than the Kenshin we know...Series were enjoying and entertaining but the movie had a more grown-up aura...And the worst part is...Well i think it's a little spoiler but i didn't like the death of Kenshin and Kaoru...They could make a better ending...Dunno...Just an opinion |

I've seen that one. Besides that one...I believe there 2 or 3 more movies of samurai x. I hate his son. He's such a brat. Its also sad to see the couple die on the corner of the street. But it was good though. I just hope this is not the end of samurai x :(...

yes, i agree. it is a beautiful movie. i couldn't help but cry at the end. ;_; it's one of my all-time favorites.     |

well exist a lot of rurouni kenshin?s movies(sorry for this awful english^^') but the best are tetsuiko-hen semui-hen and seisou-hen(i love that ovas^^)

Movie was okay, but I preferred the Trust and Betrayal OVAs. Seisouhen was garbage, imo....such a lame ending.
Where there is light, there is shadow..
But the shadow cannot shine..
Thus it lives, fights, and dies in the darkness..
So the light can continue to shine..

isn't that the Samurai X: Reflections OVA? Also, one of my fave animes. It was really depressing. The ending was a big jaw drop. Both Kenshin and Kaoru died. Really didn't like it, I hope they could make a better ending. :(( Overall, everything was done nicely. |

the movie is really good... the music and everything... but they really could have done something to the ending... i hate seeing kenshin die.. but i don't mind kaoru dying... kenshin is one of my fav character... and he died...noting's worser than that...
i'm too busy to write a signature...
