How can I read Kanji-characters on the computer?
|
Whenever there are Kanji-characters written, I see blocks. Do I need to download special software or something? |

What bishi baka said actually works only on Windows XP. If you're not using an OS lower than Windows XP, trying obtaining the latest copy of IE. It download the Japanese fonts as well. This is just my opinion, since I use Windows ME. |

XP's installation disc comes with IME, so you won't have to download anything. You'd probably have to install it after completing your XP installation. I have written a step-by-step in this thread: http://gendou.com/forum/thread.php?thr=1413 But if it's a school computer, you may or may not do this. You probably need admin access to that computer. |
