Why do I love and hate anime so much?

| I describe anime as an escape to reality. Anime is cartoonish, flexible and unlimited. You could say that I love and hate anime cause I also love and hate reality. Reality is sometimes great cause in reality, you can only find here what is true and the truth is always good. Reality sucks cause sometimes I dont want to experience the truth and I run away from it and go towards an alternative way of living. Much like an anime life(^_^) |

Well, bad things happening to you are good. Because after you get through it, you'll have learned something about yourself and you'll be stronger than you were before. So, I say to all bad things, bring it on!  |

| I love anime very much and I never hate anime. But anime somehow is a chance for me to run away from reality. |

I'm not a psychologist, but it's probably not the best idea to use a fictional media to mirror and escape from reality. Anime is a great novelty, and often easy to relate to, but should never replace tangible social and life experiences. I used to do the exact same thing, honestly. It's just a matter of accepting life as is and using things like anime as more of a .... guideline than a crutch. From infinate personal experience, running away from one's problems usually just makes facing the future a little bit harder [note: I am a hypocrite for giving this advice! I still do the same thing! Well anime can shape reality sometimes. You may notice it shapes some of your personality, or you may use it in you life. To me anime is unrealistic, however reality still has anime in it. I think anime changed the meaning of reality for me. Thats why I love it. I don't hate it at all, that is until disgusting hentai shows up.  Jomunga eats your avatars. |

no reason.... there are some that i cherish a lot....... and some that i hate very much..... but no matter what anime is still fun cause it brings us to another world filled with imagination and touches a little bit about life''' anime daisuki!!!!!!!! |
