Sharingan Vs Byakugan

| I tink i would choose the Sharingan, it has got the super strong Mangakiryou Sharingan which can blast ppl and mentally attacked them. Wat is your view? |

I would chose "Mangakiryou Sharingan" because I like Itachi (your blind if you can't see my avatar and signature). I have a question can Mangakiryou Sharingan effect Byakugan user, since during the chunin exam kakashi mention that some believe that Sharigan only comes from Byakugan.

| I would choose Sharingan :) Coz it's the doujutsu (eye technique) used by my favorites in Naruto -- Sasuke and Itachi! :) Plus it has the Mangekyou Sharingan (Kaleidoscope Sharingan) which could use the Tsukiyomi (God of the Moon) and the powerful Amaterasu (God of the Sun)! :D |

| Well, in reality... i'd choose byakugan for safety... but wait, sharingan can copy anyone's signature and has the ability to hypnotize people... I changed my mind, i choose sharingan after all... (I am evil, yes) |

I'll go to Byakugan..... Like Kakashi said it far exeeds sharingan..... Episode nila ni Hinata sa Chuunin Exam.

| Well Backbeat (The guy whose name has the picture of the Itachi) obviously Sharingan could affect it, as the Amaterasu(I tink dats the way to spell...) does not need eye contact to activate, as long as the sharingan holder posseses the power to use it, the Byakugan user still can be killed with its effect, but it is a different case for the Tsukoyumi as it needs direct eye to eye contact...Hahaha i am not so sure after all ^ ^" |

I like both.. The sharingan can copy techniques or strategies while byakugan can see your chakra spots. If you combine those two, maybe a greater bloodline limit will emerge.

sharingan is too powerful. even before you can use byakugan, youll be frozen in a sec just by being stared at those scarlet sharignan eyes! remembr how kakashi almost frozed when itachi met him in the eyes?  don't draw! as a knight of heaven i am bound to answer steel with steel. *van draws* foolish boy. |

| Slick Allen, that is not necessarily true, kakashi said dat Byakugan is stronger than Sharingan, thus u cannot conclude that Byakugan would be affected by the Tsukoyomi, as both are special eye skills, and i could say that both are as strong as the other. |

And by the way, u cannot 'off' Byakugan, but u can 'off' Sharingan, dat means Byakugan will always be there, and u don hav to use ur chakra in order to use it, but Sharingan needs Chakra to be activated. Take Neji and Sasuke for example, Neji's eyes are always white (Byakugan), while Sasuke only use his Sharingan when he battles. |

I prefer Byakugan though they're both cool.. Kakashi said that Shraingan evolves from Byakugan.. Sharingan users are few compare to Byakugan users, I think there's only three sharingan users left Itachi, Sasuke and Kakashi. Hyuuga Clan Rocks =3 Byakugan rocks!

To Ferphylss: Ummmm. Some spoilers... Byakugan uses chakra. Yes, Neji's eyes are ALWAYS white. But Byakugan isn't the white eyes. It's the veins that become more evident on his eyes and on the side of his eyes. Plus, it needs to be activated, remember? [Hinata does some handseals to activate it, especially during the Chuunin exam] Plus, during Neji's battle with the spider-thingy in their chase for Sasuke, he said, "This is my last chakra!" and activated his Byakugan. So yeah... And, I think that Tsukiyomi is one of the most powerful techniques :) Why would they be so scared of Itachi and his Mangekyou Sharingan, if Byakugan -which is possessed by a great number of people since the Hyuuga Clan is rather large and is still present- could "defeat" it and not be affected by it? :P Anyways. Sharingan is cool :P Plus it also got the special Mangekyou Sharingan ^___^ |

i am a member of quite a number of naruto sites, and they all said that sharingan just evolved from byakuugan. *read their info on techniques* it is also where i've known what are the seals used by the fourth upon the kyuubi inside naruto. it's not the shiki fuujin only. there were three series of sealing techniques (not to mention the other sealing techniques used on him by jiraiya and kakashi) i thought that when a thing evolves from something, it is usually modified to fill in for the shortcomings of that thing, thus, more developed. if you noticed, the sharingan can also identify chakra movements though not as clear as the byakuugan; it can also tell upon a crowd of bunshin which holds the real body. the modification is the sharingan's ability to copy techniques. nonetheless, i didn't ever thought that the sharingan is too powerful. plus like any other techniques, it has limitations. and the only absolute power i know of the naruto series is the power to utilize your chakra beyond your limits and the natural characteristic of having an enormous amount of chakra, which is possessed by only one character from the whole series. who else but NARUTO. sorry guys, just an opinion from a solid uzumaki naruto fan.  |

| well how can 1 say better or worse the Sharingan has the ability to copy jutsus and predict attachs yet the Byakugan has the ability to see any attack coming and a perfect deffence and with the Byakugan's ability to see inside of people so he dont see his Sharingans for the illusion jutsus so its around 50/50 |

Well, many abilities of Sharingan and Byakugan are still unclear, so I really can't choose which is better or worse. But I would vote for the Sharingan, since that, for now (we already saw some abilities of them), Sharingan seems to have more advantages above the Byakugan, like Hypnotism, the power to create a black hole (I don't know if it was just some type of hypnotism, but I don't think so), the one that Kakashi used against Deidara, and is also able to copy any ability from other people.
