whats up people, IM just wondering whats the main topic of debate, in everyones country, state, province what ever. AS for me I live in NASSAU BAHAMAS, and its the useuale, turisum since 90% of our economys income is obtained from turisum. Peace

| Canadian federal election just took place in which we now have a new Prime Minister. Other than that, nothing big has really happened lately. |

Ya, as Synai said, Us Canadians went through a Federal Election. W00t we have the Conservatives as our new Prime Minister (bout fricken time too) In my town we jsut got a new school it is pretty cool, some stuff sucks the big one, but what more can you ask for? It is much betetr than the black mold infested school we had before!

Everyone I've talked to, figures the Conservatives are going to screw up and we'll be voting again in the summer.

R€m3n|cEn†_§hÀdOw we live in the calif desert not far from the San Andreas fault. Lady Rin's a geologist whose specialty is seimology (earthquakes). She has told me that we have nothing to worry about from a tsunami. BTW, it can reach 50c in the summer and I'm fighting with the national park service to remain in business. The local economy here is tourism and the flatlanders will eventually build over the entire lo-desert valley leaving only a few thousand acres of wild desert left.  |

Here in the Philippines, our E-VAT (Expanded Value Added Tax) jumped from 8% (i'm not sure of the initial percent) to 10%. Its alive and kicking which only means one thing: higher cost of living cause prices of basic and not so basic necessities are spiraling upwards! :-/ |

All the corrupt and not so corrupt politicians(Felipe Calderon)have started their presidential campain. Hottest news: 70+ grandfather raped 12 year old grandaughter leaving her pregnant. The man is currently fleeing towards the US border. In my state we're in the middle of a hunger protest due to another increase in the transportation fee. Everywhere, people are dying due to the poor health system that we have. Oh! and how can I forget: The first lady just bought some ugly dress with the money that was destined for our educational system. Yep, life is just beautiful here.

The infamous Magdalo 4 escapes the confines of Camp Aguinaldo and the AFP eventually orders "Shoot to Kill" for the pityful comrades. Value-Added Tax now becomes Expanded-Value-Added Tax. Merely putting the E in the Tax means 12% increase in the prices of commodities. Suspected terrorists still reign in the south, somewhere.
