Has an anime's ending ever made you cry? T_T

| For me, the anime that made me cry was Gundam Seed. In the last two eps., I cried, lets see, 1,2,3,4 times. I'm just wondering if I'm weird or anybody else cries at the end of their fav. anime. |

I have never cried for any anime yet, but i do feel a little sad everytime i finish an anime because well...its the end.  |

Escaflowne made me cry, not because I was sad but because it really made me mad that Hitomi didn't stay with Van. (I guess I just couldn't believe it)

Cowboy Bebop and the last ova from Rurouni Kenshin both made me cry a litte.

Grave of the firefly but a few parts of that made me cry. I saw guys cry liek a baby through that one too

I've almost cried in a few, especially in the same ones I mentioned in the saddest anime ending thread. Grave wasn't so sad because you kind of know what happens at the beginning although you can feel their struggle throughout the movie. The one that was closest to being a tearjerker was Saikano. And in various parts of Fruit Baskets. Gee FB is a very touching Anime It is. I wish they would animate a second season as Fruits Basket goes from comedy to romance/drama. I've been buying the manga and there are a lot of scenes that could strike you in the heart and I'd love to see it. |

All of the above are pretty sad (especially Saikano and Fruit Basket) but the only anime ending that has ever made me cry was the ending to Yugioh because I was just so happy that it was over.
You need a reason to be sad. You don't need a reason to be happy. The secret to happiness is to face the fact that the world is horrible.

Gundam Seed, when Mu died, my buddy and I always say every now and then "MUUUUUUUU" and wipe tears away, and to answer your question Riku's Girl, you not the only one ^_^ Gundam Seed was really sad, the whole thing, especially what happened to Tolle...Don't want to spoil anything more...

huhuhuhuh...fruits basket!!! though it may seem.. funny and crazy..the characters have their own stories and had a sad life because of the curse..its sad that they have to always obey akito..its sad that hatori and momiji had to erase the memories of their loved ones... *snifff*

Cowboy Bebop was definitely sad, but Wolf's Rain was absolutely tragic. Whenever I see a wolf on Discovery Channel, I think "TOBOEEEEEE". T_T I <3<3 tragic anime endings... it makes the anime more memorable (*coughinuyashaendingsuckedcough*)

The last episode of FMA was so freaking sad. I cried both times watching it. But now that I've seen the movie, I'm really happy with the ending ending of the series. Chrno Crusade had such a bittersweet ending, but I loved it. Samurai X OVAs also had a really sad ending. |

I thought Gundam Seed wasn't that sad but, the way Nicole died was pretty sad. In Gundam Seed Destiny I always kinda get in the mood to cry when i see Shinn holding Stellar in his arms as she dies, and the beginning of the song "I wanna go to a place" is sad and happy kinda? Also Shingetsutan Tsukihime had a sad ending of Shiki losing Arcueid. Another sad part is in Inuyasha of how kikyo ended up dying hating Inuyasha and they could never fall in love its just soooo saddd to me. also another is Naruto when they talked about Gaara's childhood because it compared to my childhood by how i had no friends, parent/aunts hated me also, and developed a frightening killing intent. well the music was very sad too. |

YES!!! I bawled when Wolfwood died in Trigun. I mean it was so sad! He finally got together with Milly and then he just up and dies and leaves her crying over him. ;_; -sniff- Wolf's Rain too. I cried when Blue and Hige died the most though. T_T And when Ryoko died in Tenchi. Cried at that too. T____T Damn Japanese people making me sad like that.

Gundam Seed... Fushigi Yuugi when each person died. TT_TT my gawd...

| Actually, never in the ending, mostly the sad parts in animes i've watched are not in the ending. But i almost cried when kenshin died, yeah so that's it. |

I never really cried when it comes to anime....but Gundam SEED ending was really sad and almost make me cry, especially the last two episode... wolf's rain ending is sad too...I almost cry when I watched the rurouni kenshin OVA especially when kenshin died... too bad... he's my fav anime characters....

This doesn't count as the total end, but the end of Air made me cry... Why I'm talking about how it's not really the end: Afterwards, there's a recap episode, followed by two specials (which don't cover the main story), so it's the end of the story but not the anime itself... Seriously though, I love this anime. If you're interested, you can get the series here... Dangit, I'm gonna cry right now >_<  |
