Most Over Used Anime Weapon

I personally have see a lot of anime and i think that when you look at certain genres like action you tend to see the same if not a simillar weapon like a sword or Sythe. I was just wonder what others would think. Don't worry i don't mind if you disagree with me completely.  |

Beam weapons are annoying, retarded-looking, and overused. Why the heck can't people use good ole' high powered projectile weapons? like a 50cal or a rail gun?

| Yep. Swords and scythes are one of the most familiar weapons in anime, especially the "sword that can save the 'world'" or the "most powerful sword" that almost every body in the story gets nuts about. ^_^ |

| Swords r the best. I practically love all anime related to sword fighting. I find it very cool.I suppose its a nicer weapon so its more often used. Guns and other projectile weapons are also nice. |

I also go with the overuse of swords. for example, Zaraki Kenpachi's soul layer from Bleach...it looks like you'll get more laseration than a cut in his sword. the edge of the sword really looks jagged...  |

The most overused weapons in anime are either swords, or guns. The least used weapon in anime is the guitar, yes the guitar. Used only in FLCL, and the Legend of Black Heaven, although used indirectly in the latter of the two. |

I have notice no one posted this... but I think the MOST over used weapons... are teeth? Girls bite guys... Monsters bite heros... Especially the monsters, they always use their teeth, claws, or some form of physical attack (not to mention those popular probing thingies <--- creeps me out) |

Swords are used way to much. Think of every anime you ever saw. What is something most people have.. a sword, Yes a sharp weapon that can be used to kill almost anything..
