I read the first chapter which is like half of the first volume. I didn't care for it although I didn't like Paradise Kiss until the 2nd or 3rd volume so I'm guessing it's a trend with the author. |

i haven't read the manga yet but i heard from a friend, who's a die-hard nana fan, that the live action was awesome.i'm looking for it right now to see for myself^^ |
Re: Nana

i've read until volume 7 if any of you who can read chinese, maybe i can suggest you to go to this website, although it might be a bit slow.. http://dm.www.wangyou.com/html/class32/comic386.html |
Re: Nana

i've read at least 13 volumes (of the chinese version) of it, and the character relationships' freaking messed up. people having sex everywhere (the horrific realism of the world today...*sigh*), but the j-rock theme is cool. as for the live-action, many of my friends who read the manga before watching it said it sucks with the poor acting skills of Nakashima Mika *shoulders up*...don't know, i never watched it. but one thing's for sure, Naoki only showed up for 5 seconds and he's out of the live-action completely...which is a big thumbs down for me (<--naoki fan *the only character who seems to be "pure" within the story*) |

I watched most of the movie. Not all that I expected it to be. :\ Actually, I kept skipping around because many parts were too boring. |
Re: Nana

I read until the forth book... The story is getting interesting and I like it. |
Re: Nana

Wee~ the anime is a lot like the movie I'm guessing. It's quite an interesting story and is different from a lot of mangas in the market nowadays. I kinda like it =] |

I heard from a classmate that the live action was good... she's a fan of asian dramas but since i'm not really into live action, i'm downloading the anime. Haven't watch it yet... probably tomorrow? |
Re: Nana

The live action movie is good. I enjoyed watching Yuna Ito and Mika Nakashima in their crossover from jpop to the big screen. I haven't seen the second movie. The story is about how two girls from different upbringings experiences and backgrounds becoming friends and helping each other reach a deeper understanding of love, relationships, and life with lots of great music! I've only seen a few of the anime and the 1st ep follows the same story as the movie, but then I think it goes a different direction. Maybe it comes back to the movie storyline later, but I don't know yet? --bullittrm |

woooooooooot! The anime is so great and addicting. The story is so mature, deep and serious. I love it! i got sick of waiting my downloads to finish so i watched the last 15+ episodes in youtube. I really really like to see the anime's ending but there are only 41 episodes subbed out of the 47. I'm really frustrated after i learned this >____< i want more!!! guess i'll have to download the manga XD |
