| I'm not EXACTLY sure what direct linking is but I think it's when you put a link on a site or whatever and it goes directly to another site if you click on it. I'm just kind of guessing based on the name... |

direct linking is linking directly from a site. it's using a link/url directly from someone else's site and putting it onto your own. for example, the people who are stupid and inconsiderate enough to direct link a song here on gendou's, they would copy the url of whatever song and place it on their own page. since the link is originally from gendou's site, it would use up his bandwidth. if you people want to put up a song on your page, download it, then upload it onto your own site instead of stealing someone else's (who is paying for it, btw) bandwidth.     |
