String Theory

what do you know about the string theory? I heard its so tiny that if an atom(I think) was a size of the solar system, a "string" would be the size of a tree on Earth. Believe it!
Tell me what you think?

String theory does not claim anything about "size" per say, it is a way of attempting to explain why sub-atomic particles behave so gosh darn strange. The overall concept is, all particles can be thought of as vibrating strings, with some frequency and wavelength. This is a handy trick to help think about the realy hard-to-swallow side of quantum physics.

If you want to talk incredible small sizes, check out the neutrino.
