Because of the hardware differences the games for the systems are going to begin to go in opposite directions very soon. The DS is much more suited to some types of puzzle and interactive games thanks to its touch screen and the PSP has the UMD format movies going for it. The PSP does have more multifunction but they are different enough that there is more than just system specs to their mutual comptetion. |

Lith, you are absolutely right about Advance Wars DS! I have a DS and PSP, and I never touched my PSP once when I first got Advance Wars DS!!!

Ummm PSP is better than DS because i can play pirated games like DS games on the UMD emu drive but no touchpad so that sux. But i also steal PSP games for freee, and GBA,GBC,NEOCD,MAME,Turbographix,PS1,and all the emulators u can imagine im waiting for the memory card to go up so theyll make the ps2 emulator yay!! I also have a DS but i only play METEOS! thats the only fun game that came out all the others that got carried over from N64 is trash!! MarioKart SUX dont buy it.  |

You know this is what I think about these two: PSP for Quality NDS for Quantity PSP: Advantages: -great game graphics -great features (mp3/video player, internet browser, camera) -cheaper accessories Disadvantages: -can only handle 10 or less games in a 4-8GB memory card. (emulator) NDS: Advantages: -new feature (touch pad sensitive on bottom screen) -educational & interactive games (Brain Age,Cooking Mama, etc) -can handle 50 or more games in a 2GB MSD memory card (emulator) Disadvantages: -expensive accessories (Guitar Hero fretboard, Screen Protector, etc)   Follow the road you believe in --> |

DS is like my forte now, better games than PSP if you seen PSP games now... there's only a little good selection of psp games

I don't really play lots of PSP games...since there aren't much selection. I don't have DS yet...but maybe i'll get one someday XD |

@Lu Bu- Ah, but with custom firmware the PSP is open to a far wider collection of games than the DS, which can be stored on the memory stick, and I can recall far better games from before the DS came out. :) Of course, it's only if you mod, otherwise you are correct. Personally I like the PSP more. Web browser built right in, easy PS Store access, don't use music much (nothing can replace a good old MP3 player), video storage, better graphics, easy to play (I find anyway, I get serious hand cramps trying to fumble with touch pads, stylus and buttons, plus the pressure that goes on the hand that's holding the DS when I'm using the touch pad) and I prefer the PSP's kind of games. I find Nintendo leans towards a kid friendly approach, a family thing, being a hardcore gamer I'm not a big fan of that. I prefer hardcore games or more mature games. Besides, like I mentioned, I love having the ability to load up my PSP with every NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Gameboy, Playstation 1 and Gameboy Advance game out there and play it. PSP + custom firmware = Wonder handheld    |

lol jonathan u gotta help me get CFW on psp! i personally love my psp. The online games own, the mp3/video/internet radio/ internet kick arse. The graphics kick arse and now psp is close 2 being like a ps3 with the playstation store/network and the remote play function (which lets u play wit the ps3 on ur screen) and overall its perfect as a handheld than NDS.  Part of the new age Gendou RP veterans: Kira, Rukia, KM Revolution, Smoker, Avian, L, and Ryu. |

DS is way better I mean the only reason I'm even thinking about buying a PSP is because 3rd Birthday is being made for it. I freakin' love any Parasite Eve game. Also my sister wants one so she can play Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep DS is just way more fun and has better games.  |

I love them both, but if I had to choose a clear cut winner, I'd have to give it to the PSP. The PSP can surf the net, play music and video, display photos, allows for thematic customization, works as a phone via Skype, and most importantly, plays games! The DS can do the same, but most of it requires seperate accesories (for music/video and internet capabilities). The possibilities of the PSP keep on expanding! Hopefully, a later model will have a camera on it! One can only dream... The DS has a great interface with the touch screen though, and that sets it apart from the PSP in that department. I love using the touch screen in games like Cooking Mama and Summon Knights! Still waitin on an H-game though............. Darn Nintendo.... Guess I'll have to put up with Doki Doki Majou Shinpan til then lol!  mmmmmmmmmmmm....... |

It's pretty obvious which handheld is the winner.The sony PSP that is.Terms of handheld graphics,it owns.Volume,its louder than the DS.Memory-wise the DS would win as 2GB can hold up to 25 DS games whereas for the PSP if 2GB can only hold 2 to 3 games.     |
