What anime would little kids like? Advice please.

Well Im gonna go to some relatives for thanksgiving holiday. They are gonna be 5 kids there ages 5-10. 4 girls and 1 boy. I havent seen the other 3 but 2 of them are my cousins, and every lolicon would be in heaven to see them every day. They are practically right out of Sister Princess. I wanna know what anime I should show them. What would they like. You dont have to consider the fact that one of them is a boy, I dont care about him, pretend that is just 4 girls. The girls would be ages 7-10. Consider the fact that they probaly wont be able to read well either, so (although it tears me up inside) recommend some animes that also have good dubs too. Gawh dubs! I want to show them animes that are big on the love, caring, and kindness. I currently am thinking about showing Card Capter Sakura, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Mahou Shoujo Neko Taruto. Any body know what little girls like in anime these days?  Jomunga eats your avatars. |

| What ever u show them make sure it meets the age ratings for kids. Whats recommended from SantoryuSwords are quite good in my opinion. |

Pokemon and digimon really lact impact and wont get them to start liking anime. Plus its not really what im looking for. I want something that isn't just for kids, but good overall too. However Do-re-mi I havent seen, but have heard of it. How is it? Is it enough to get them to wanna watch more after a couple of episodes? Ahhh it has so many episodes. Jomunga eats your avatars. |

| Card Captor Sakura would be a good choice, Panyo Panyo Digi-Charat, and Wedding Peach and Sailor Moon are also favorites among my nieces. |

i donno what anime is good enough for kids..eh,girls ha?have no sister so donno how to suggest sth but i guess sailor moon might be likeable for them.card captor sakura is nice too.but if u ask me,one anime that really teaches me about caring,friendship n bonding is naruto.probably the only boy will like it.sorry if this is not helping.  |

| Princess Tutu is good as well. It might be leaning more into girls just a tad though. Eh, also... I guess CCS is a good choice for this particular group of kids. I can't think of any others at the moment... |

There was a poll about what shows kids should watch... (I believe it was once shown in CNN...) and Hard to believe that only one Anime made the cut and was considered suitable/"Wholesome" for kids to watch... It's Spirited Away... a Ghibli Movie...  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

I'd say Card Captor Sakura would be the best choice. Akazukin Cha Cha, if still available, is also recommendale for kids.    |

Anything by GHIBLI. It's not because I'm such a big fan of Ghibli (in fact I am) but they're great and most of their anime is like a fairy-tale. So if you want them to start liking, go to their world of fairy-tale. As far as I can see, you can pick among Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, and Spirited Away. They have great story and nice picture. I wouldn't recommend Grave of the fireflies coz it's hard for kids to understand. Anyway, how smart are these so-called sister princessses anyway? To watch Princess Mononoke it requires IQ above 125, but the good thing is that once your little sisters understand the show, they'll grow more intelligent. About the boy, why don't feed him with final fantasy advent children? He'll be fed up with all the actions and I bet he won't give a damn about the story.

Card Captor Sakura. Then again, almost everyone has suggested it. How about....Sweet Tales of St. Tail? or Angelic Layer? or Gundam X? Oh, and add Detective Conan. ^_^ |

small kids like magical or some-kind-like-that animes... girls may like sailormoon, card captor or the akazukin cha cha type... they may like mahou shoujou stories... boys like adventure stories i think... my bro likes digimon and pokemon. oh well... and a, they like naruto too...

The current list is Card Captor Sakura, Mahou Shoujo Neko Taruto, Princess Tutu, Akazukin Chacha, Angelic Layer, Fancy Lala, Fullmoon wo Sagashite, Puchi Puri Yuushi, Tokyo Mew Mew, and some Ghiblis to show the kids, probaly will show them the first episode of each series, and let them choose thier favorite. As for Digi Charat, the original is not aimed towards kids, and Panyo Panyo turned kiddy but also lost its impact. Miyazaki movies are a good choice but I wouldnt show them the ones like Princess Mononoke, I remember that one had arms and heads flying off, hardly acceptable for children. Detective Conan has someone die almost every episode and it has some blood too. Azumanga Daioh is great but although it seems childish I think it still targeted to the adults. Hello Kitty is a sell out, they will make anything and put hello kitty on it. Hamutaro is great but Mahou Shoujo Neko Taruto is very similar and shorter too, and in my opinion better. Sailor Moon only seen a couple of episodes cant really judge. There are so many Magical Girl type animes with so many episodes. Any body know of anything that is short and sweet.
