ok pretend that a planet goes close to each over, and i mean VERY CLOSE, would they Crash together by their own gravity pulling each other?

and if the plantes DO crash together ARE WE ALL DEAD?!

(to me,somepeople may see this differently)

since there has been no record of tyhis happeneing I can only come up with a few theories.

one would be that both planets would possible touch at one point and then stay in that position untill a sun is made near then pulling both closer to it.

another theory is that both planets (depending on the size) would make a blackhole or something similar to a blackhole streching the fabric of space and time.

there are more but just stick with those for now

if one earth-sized planet collided with earth, at any speed, both planets would be anialated. any life on either planet would be extinct immediately.

a celestial body thousands of times as massive as the earth is REQUIRED for the kind of reactions we see in stars. thousands.

there is NO WAY that an object of planet-size magnitude could be a black hole. of course, any object which has mass bends space-time according to general relativity. however this is so insignificant with a planetary body that it compares to the desyncronization of your wrist watch and big ben when you go for a jog.
