math is important if you want to use computers, because the laws of mathematics are used heavily in the construction of computer software. math is also important for real-world stuff like finance. almost any profession you go into will require some mathematical knowledge. math is fun!

Basic mathematics such as addition and subtraction are definately needed to just survive. things like logs and trigs i don't find very useful unless you wanna be an engineer or physicist, and I wanna be an engineer, but I still tell people math is useless.

Math is TOTALLY useless.. unless its addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.(for counting money). you don't need square roots to cube roots to sleep, eat or play computer games! Not needed when watching your favorite anime and surely not when taking a bath.. Math is really for engineers, architects, scientists and other math and science related subjects. |

| I am not good in math but I find it very important not just to survive but to understand a lot of things in this world. There is a relationship between numbers and qualitative descriptions in real life. |

Math is important to me. I have to count pills, read off the meniscus properly for giving syrups and tell the time for documentation. That counts right?! xD

Advanced math is not useful to most people in everday life. However, in some professions advanced math is vital--like engineering, mathematics professor, etc. In day to day life, though, you only really need basic math (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying). Also you need to know math in order to pass your required math courses in college (aaargh, shoot me and put me out of my misery someone).  |

math isnt as importantasepole stress it to be because most of the time you will only use the basicsso unless your in a job that requires u to kno trig and calculus or somwthing then just remeber the basics. (im not one to bad mouth math this is what i think)

Everyones telling m,e the famn thing about math being the mother of scinece . I can't deny it , it IS the mother of scinece , but just- it's sometimes hard , confusing , and tiring !
Life starts simply , why change them?

| math is important so that we may learn things that we'll never use like calculating the parabola of a plane's take off and landing (which is an extreamly inaccurate result in real life anyways) |
