I'm out on the market for new animes but haven't got the foggiest idea what to watch next. Can anybody help me out? Please add a small synopsis of the anime and why it's so cool. Thanks.^-^

hmm... anime titles to collect? you got to specify what kind as well... (sci-fi,suspense,horror,etc...) there are a lot of good (and bad... sometimes wierd...) titles out there  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

Here some good advice what will i do before go buy some anime.. Usally i read some book 'bout anime like newtype or anything..? Then i decided which anime i should buy, and write them on my cell phone so i will not forget them if i'm going out.. Then the most important part is to check my POCKET IS THERE IS SMTH FUNNY! i mean is green papers available on my pocket $_$ then when they were ready... i bust out and buy them!! but sometime i buy more than written on my note... Because i stupidly thing there is still some money in my pocket even i have ought all the anime on my note.... =p |

Thanks for the advice, guys. I really like different things at different times, but mostly if there is some hint of romance in it, i like. What I have so far are... Well since you seem to have no problem with Shounen ai and your into what I'd call angsty romance (with gravitation) I'd suggest for you Loveless: It's about a young boy, Ritsuka, whose brother was just recently killed/murdered. The death of his brother changed Ritsuka completely and now with a move to a new town there's an appearance of a new man in Ritsuka's life. His name, Soubi. Soubi send Ritsuka into a whirl-wind of confusion with news that he knows who killed his brother, now Ritsuka is being thrown into battles along side of Soubi with this unknown magic and Soubi is telling Ritsuka he loves him and poor Ritsuka doesn't know what to do or think...It's a short anime consisting of only 12 episodes although there is rumor of a sequel coming out. It's a beautiful anime great plot and wonderful voiceactors and all in all it gets a 9/10(I'm a tough critic, haven't given a 10 yet.. *smiles*) Another one I would suggest, not as strongly as Loveless, may be Gundam Seed: You can probably guess from the title and what you may or may not have heard that it's a Gundam series so of course it has gundams in it... not sure if you're into the robot battling thing or not, I never though I was until I saw GS though so who knows...but a summary: Set in the cosmic Era, Earth and Plant are waging war to eliminate one another, the Naturals(those without altered DNA(regular human beings)) see the Coordinators(those with altered DNA at birth and thus have special abilities)as a threat to their way of life so forced to live in space the coordinators fight for their right to live... A young Coordinator living peacfully on earth, Kira Yamato, (his coordinator abilities hidden from the rest of the world) get's thrown into the war when his home in Heliopolis is invaded and his peaceful lifestyle turns into one of war... Not wanting to fight but fighting only to protect those in which he cares for Kira battles his way through the war in a natural ship, only to meet up with a childhood friend along the way and begin fighting against him... this throws Kira even further into the pain of war... along the way many things take place to change Kira's perspective on things and his statous and in the end he continues to fight for what he believes is right...!There's plenty of romance in this one for those interested in romance, some great action packed battles and what not...very emotional... my rating 8.2/10 Last one I have for you would be Full Moon Wo Sagashite and here's a really short summary: Mitsuki is a young girl with a large tumor in her throat, which is the one thing hindering her from singing, the only thing in life she really loves. When two hilarious Shinigami(gods of death) come into her life her dream is finally realised, but she finds that along the way her dreams have begun to change, through out this series Mitsuki must grow up quickly and fight for her dreams before time runs out...! Very cute story, great plot, good romance, good graphics, good voice actors and great emotions... my rating 8.5/10 Hope these help!

most otaku had watched this anime, but uh never mind, i suggest Cowboy Bebop! consistin 26 eps, the anime is a combination of thrilling action sequences, drama, a bit verbal humor & more undescribable anime genre(you name it, this anime has everything!) About Spike Spiegel & Bebop crews, they're all bounty hunters! you gotta watch the brilliant ending b'coz u may hate it or love it(avoid any spoiler!)! Chobits.. urgh this so-called naive & innocent-looking anime has actually only-for-adult-thingies! quite shocked that CLAMP drew such manga! Don't buy Samurai Deeper Kyo unless u're a die-hard-fan! YuYu Hakusho, as usual a good watch too Gravitation, if u wanna relax your brain without having to analyse heavy plot, just watch this anime. Fullmetal Alchemist, otaku just love this anime! Yami no Matsuei, like every other fan, i love the beautiful artworks which were digitally cleaned-up(hard to believe they did it in 2001). dun expect good plot from 13 eps tho. saiyuki, dun expext good fighting sequences from a bad storyboard & weak directing. even the artworks are just moderately common, but still i personally love this anime b'coz sanzo's damn cool! Bleach, all my friends said the anime's great where as they haven't read the manga!  |
