For sure, gangs racing souped up cars to techno music. What more could one ask for? by the way, they have an Initial D movie with real people, I recommend that you download it if you're a fan of Initial D.

omg lol i disagree urchin... the hk film ppl seriously messed up the movie .... i am a big fan of initial D and the movie was a big let down.. the movie overall was sooo lame its not even funny. however, the only cool thing were the battles which is the only thing worth watching... just skip all the other crap o and dont eat when ur watchin this show... *ugh* btw i have like 1.5gigs of inital d music :) |

| So the live-action Initial-D movie is out? I didn't realize it was finished already; What plotline does it follow from the series or manga, does anyone know? Are the actors close to convincing as Takumi, Natsuki, etc...? |

| I really like the music. I watch the show too, but I'm not as much of a fan as it. (most likely because I'm not interested in cars much). I really like Ryosuke and Takumi though. Ryo because he's cool and Takumi because he amuses me. |

the anime maybe good and all but the movie they made with real ppl sucked really bad...it ruined the whole point of the initial D

| Some like Jay Chow a lot. I found him a 'meh'. His songs are usually mumbles though some are ok, I like the one he did on the Warcraft 3 theme. btw, wouldn't it be great if they made a movie based on Warcraft 3? |

in the live action initial d movie, the guy who plays itsuki (Chapman To) is like forty years old! The sick part is, he's checking out fifteen year olds! The movie was a big let down, i don't recomend it, it doesn't follow the manga at all............ the races aren't even exciting, they just sort of start out of the blue...........

The story of the movie wasn't intended to follow the manga if you read up on it. They simply based the movie off of it. The story was null but not to bad as far as racing movies go. The races I thought were satisfying enough. Compared to the F&F series tho, this movie was God. If you're an Initial D fan, check out the live action movie just for the races. It's worth viewing a couple times. Side Note: Ep.17 of 4th Stage was recently released at www.baka-updates.com.

if u notice that some part of the race they using cg animation. that part is really sux and how come the evo 3 falldown from the cliff all the tyres were rip-off but the car body just have a bit scratch. for 1st time it's ok but for me n my friend that like inital d say the movie sux. im sorry to say this but it's true.
