When did you realize you were obsessed with Anime?

| Like the title when did you first realize that you were obsessed with anime? For me it was when i realized my collection was worth more then some of my friends cars that and the fact that the only dvd's I have are animated. |

When I started downloading all possible anime downloadables on the net, writing anime-based fics, and trying to learn Japanese. ^^,

When I started surfing hundreds of sites just to find good, descriptive synopses of each episode with the combination of trivia and really good screenshots. Or maybe it's everytime I finish an episode and squeal with delight. |

When I started to give better summarys than my friends When I could name of more mangas than my friends When I started to try to introduce my friends to scanlations. (I tryed to get them into FMA before it came here and they were all like "Hn....", but once the anime hit they were all like "Wow!!! This is great!!" Stupid friends....)

Let's see.... I started to really get into anime during the end of middle school/start of high school. So whenever I'd saved up to $20 or so, I'd splurge it on a new anime tape (we didn't have a DVD player yet so I bought the VHS tapes.)     |

when i watched it everyday... played games based on animés... sings japanese even though sometimes wrong words came out from my mouth... listen to japanese animé songs... and i could only think about is animé  ^_^v PEACE OUT! |

When I started searching for it in the net and buying merchandise and when I am asked by my teacher in school like give sentences or something I always associate it with the anime I'm watching (ex.The four men are heading West.--> four men heading West--> Sanzo-ikkou-->Saiyuki. = ) Ja mata ne!
The more you learn, the more you know,the more you know,the more you forget...so WHY LEARN AT ALL???...P.S. Am I banned? Wah.

When I decided (several years ago) to learn Japanese, just so I could watch undubbed, unsubbed anime and understand what they're saying. ^^0 Course, now, I love the language and culture, and that plus anime is all so cool, and so now I'm seriously studying it, for real...But it started with anime, and I still think it's even COOLER then sliced bread! ;D (You know, coolest thing since sliced bread and all that...well this is cooler. ^_^) So yeah...but I realized I was obsessed then. :) (And I'm glad...my Uncle is also studying Japanese...halfway study partner! XD)
They didn\'t know if they should just consider him stark raving bonkers, or take his words to heart. The wrong choice could always get them killed. The right, just might make them strong enough to survive whatever was coming.
It was all a matter of choice, in the end.

I've been watching anime even before I went to pre-school!!! I had my very first crush at a very young age and he's made of colored wax and paper! But, I realized that I'm really - and I mean REALLY - obsessed with anime when I started having them as my IMAGINARY FRIENDS when I was in 3rd grade (too old to believe in imaginary friends!!!) which lasted for almost 3 years!!! Those years were some of the best years of my life! But, I'm still obsessed... I just don't have them as my imaginary friends anymore... Well, most of them... At least I've learned to let go SOME of them... I just can't let go of Kazuki, Ayame and some others. I still have IMAGINARY ANIME FRIENDS even though I'm already 14. I just can't live without them!!! ANIME's MY LIFE!!! I even used to hate gays! Now, I'm obsessed with "girly" (I define "girly" very loosely) anime guys! I've turned into a YAOI fangirl!!! Well, I mild one, at least. I get panic attacks everytime I realize that they're not for real and I have to BREATHE INSIDE A BROWN PAPER BAG JUST TO CALM MYSELF DOWN!!!  |

eh, i was a little like THE WORLD... i realised i liked anime when i met some anime posers and all they knew were naruto, inuyasha and all the super famous animes. That's all. they don't bother finding other animes that are just as good but aren't the hot favourites. i was like, "Geez... You people are watching it just so you'll all have something to talk about..." Pfeh, i can't stand those superficial beings... and i was kinda grossed out that these nice animes have 'fans' like that. blah blah blah, i found out i liked anime. and anyway, anime's the only thing i watch on tv. besides spongebob squarepants, haha..
life sucks.... only when you're a vacuum...

| 6th grade, I think. But I was obsessed long before then. 3rd grade, it was Pokemon, but I didn't know what anime was! |
