Need Assistance on creating an app icon.

Hi. zeph here. I am creating a gendou android app(music section only) and was wondering if there's anyone willing to create an app icon for the app. I am creating a material themed app so the icon should be material designed as well. unfortunately I have no skills in photoshop. Here's the guidelines for the app icon. http://www.google.com/design/spec/style/icons.html# If all goes well, I will release the app to the playstore and will make sure to credit your work in my app. It is almost halfway done. i got the download feature working. I would like to post screenshots of my underdevelopment app but dunno how to. XD Thanks for your time reading this silly request. |

A lot of people have been trying to make an app for Gendou. I am happy to help you out with the app icon. Certify graphic designer here :) willing to help out. I had an assignment to do an app game before. Wasn't good, but I learn the guidelines before. So brief me more deeply please. :3

Wow. First of all thank you for responding to this thread. I was almost in the verge of giving up and just learn photoshop from scratch. There's still a lot I need to do with my app. so far the knly feature my app can do at the moment is search for songs and download them. You can also tap the song and it will reveal a new screen with more info about the song and lyrics of the song. Basically, I would like the app icon to just be simple. Maybe the Kanji for Gendou would be enough. Maybe dark gray background, then the kanji will be white. I want to follow the material design concept by google just like how it is explained in the link below Google material icon specs Here are some examples of icons that follow the material concept 1.Sample 1 2.Sample 2 Notice how they make use of the shadow? I was also thinking to make the app icon a reminiscent of Gendou Ikari from evangelion. Like putting shades and beard but still incorporate material design. |

App is still in the making. A bit busy but I should be able to finish it before the end of the year. I already contacted someone to do the icon for me. I look forward to uploading it to playstore and be available for everyone. I hope you'll like it :) |

I also have the same problem of creating an icon for app. When I didn't have an idea or fantasy how to do it, I looked at https://masterbundles.com/templates/presentations/powerpoint/pitch-deck/ where I found my inspiration. Moreover, they have an incredibly large selection of different templates that can be used anywhere. That's why I advise you to look right here! |
