I'm a really big fan of this series of games since PS2 and I haven't share this game with anyone since my friends just loves playing any game that is way to main stream. So I say hey is anyone have or had played any of this game share your thoughts. I personally enjoy them way to much to the point that I own all of them except two that were not release on US :(.  |

I'm a newer fan of the series, only having started with Yakuza 3. So far I've played 3, 4 and Dead Souls, which I enjoyed quite a bit. I'm hoping that Sega will release 5 over here as well, but I'm not holding my breath considering the financial situation that Sega is in at the moment. The thing I like most about the series is the brutal fighting system. You can seriously mess up random punks on the street, some of which are picking fights over really stupid things. Some dudes pick a fight with you just for allegedly looking at them funny, and then you can proceed to smash their face into a light pole or suplex a guy on a bike rack. Dead Souls wasn't too bad, but it got really repetitive shortly after starting. Having the zombies re-spawn in the same locations every single time you enter the area was a major pain. Not only that, but ammo was laughably easy to obtain, so there wasn't much danger of getting a Game Over (I went through the whole game with no less than 1500 rounds of each main ammo type at any given moment).    |

Yeah I felt the same way with Dead Souls came out a bit disappointed in the end :( But aside from that, Sega announce they releasing the first two games of the series in HD for PS3 (Pretty cool). If the Sega financial problems keep then from bringing the 5th one to US than I won't be too surprise since it ain't the first time. |

Only played the first, but I really liked it.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

| I saw and played yakuza 5 sega is literally going all out on this one. Hopefully we get the hd collection for 1 and 2 as well |
