Adding Extensions on Trixbox
Link | by Pioneer Plus on 2011-07-05 05:35:37 (edited 2011-07-05 05:39:02)

I've been assigned to a job in my intern place that related to Trixbox (a software PBX). The system was already preset, and working normally. One of my tasks is to add teens of new extension into a new server as a backup (in case if the main server fails). I'd like to ask how to automatically add extension as I need to submit a lot of it (around 60 extensions) and I don’t want to repeatedly submit the form one by one.

Configuration Sample:
Extension Number: 7001 (I want to add 7002, 7003, until 70XX)
Display Name: BACKUP-CH-XX (as much the same as above)
Secret: H1-mi-t5u (temporarily I set the same secret for every extension)
Voice recording were set to Always as the default

I welcome any suggestion to do so, including database manipulation guide via phpMyAdmin. Hopefully anyone who understands networking better than I do would answer my question. Thanks in advance!

Here you will learn all about writing services and be able to determine which companies to trust. This is very important because all students want good papers.
