(Still need the official title or pictures) The Story Year 2039,100 years has passed since WW2.Peace and order followed shortly thereafter,until one day,a usual training day become chaotic as one of the rounds fired hit a ship hard and sunk it,taking the executive officer(XO) and the crews along with her.Turns out that someone purposely loads a live ammunition before the training.... To make matter worse,a coup d'etat has begun,overthrowing their current rulers(Imperial Shogunate's Emperor Yoshiro in Japan's case) and made Empire,forcing them to withdraw.As they're scattered all over places,they'll now have to find a way to unite their military power and bring the war to the end,in the form of a force called Freedom Force... RP Rules 1.)All normal Gendou.com/Gendou City rules apply. 2.)No God-modding(Battleships and other large ships is tough,yes,but not without any weakness).Even antagonists is not excluded,though some can be really hard to defeat. 3.)Avoid one-line or unintelligible posts.I'm not strict on the use of language so long as everyone can understand your writing. 4.)No killing characters without permission(and the permission of the killee). 5.)*EDIT* As we've rather low(but active) players,I'll set the character limitation to free.You can make as much as you want,as long you know how to keep track of these guys(unless they died in a battle). 6.)If you're going to quit or take an extended leave of absence,please PM me. 7.)If you have any ideas for the plot or have any questions,please PM me. Factions Empire Once a part of the country,they started a coup d'etat and overthrew the current rulers,in a manner akin to real-life Nazi Germany, albeit with the trump card of "superweapons," huge, heavily armed and armored vehicles. Freedom Force Made of scattered military force,they now seeks to ally themselves with other forces and unite their power to end the war and overthrow Empire for good. Ships types: Corvettes(PT):Basically small armored equipped with different weaponry for different purposes(eg.torpedoes for anti-ships,large caliber machine guns for AA and so on.Some of them were equipped with small main guns(eg.10cm main guns),though.). Destroyers(DD):Many captains begins their navy journey with this ships.They carry minimal anti-ship armaments,meaning they won't last the battle against cruisers and battleships.However,they're equipped with depth charge,which is useful for hunting submarines,and torpedoes to puncture a hole in a enemy ship's hull(which will slow them down,and sinks them much quickly than main guns if timed well).Can be made flagships due to their capability(DDF). Frigates(FF):Cruiser-sized ships that were made for sophisticated electronic warfare,they carry missiles with different purposes.They have VTOL facility onboard,therefore capable of launching VTOL-based planes and helicopters.Other than that,they're similar to that of the destroyers(albeit with better stats). Cruisers(CA[heavy]/CL[light]):Bigger than destroyers but smaller than battleships,they're highly versatile ships,capable of carrying many kinds of weaponry aboard.Their only limit is their deck size and weight,often time unable to carry heavier equipment and thicker armor.Like destroyers,they're equipped with depth charge and torpedoes,albeit with more powerful main guns. Submarines(SS):Capable of diving underwater,they can sneak into enemy lines before rising to attack them.Best use in the missions involving stealth.Destroyers and certain ships with sonar capability can detect these ships before they can attack,so be careful when aboard these ships.They're the battleship's worst enemies,therefore those captains commanding such will need to bring escorts.The second type to be flagship-able(SSF) due to their stealth ability. Aircraft carriers(CV):Basically the mobile airbase,carrying aircrafts for many purposes.Their armaments are minimal,therefore cannot take on warships without proper preparations. Battleships(BB):They are extremely powerful vessels,carrying huge main guns and plenty of weaponry aboard,more so than that of the destroyers and cruisers.They were vulnerable to torpedoes and most underwater threats,requiring escorts as a result,and they costs a lot,too.After WW2,most ships of this type were disbanded,but as the insurgency strikes,the ships has been recalled to duty for their very purposes.By the time it hits them,Japan has a few such ships made(namely,the Shogun-class ships),though weren't officially called as such,and were only used for artillery supports use.Third(and final) type to be flagship-able,and are famous among vice admirals and admirals due to their extreme firepower and high endurance(BBF).They also have lighter version of the warships called battlecruisers(BCA);ships with the firepower of a battleship,but with the armor of a cruiser.These ships were made to deliver punishment from afar,yet quick enough to get out of the battlefield before getting hit.As such,their armor were made lighter than their BB counterparts,and were only made for support use(remember,heavier armor slows down the ship!). Battlecarrier(BCV):A hybrid of battleships and aircraft carriers,they're capable of carrying both aircraft and heavy main guns,though limited in many ways. Weight:(Optional;a.k.a displacement tonnage.) Weapon:(up to 7,though may be limited due to the deck space and weight,depending on the ship class.To balance,we have 100-parts limit scale,therefore choose carefully,since it includes engines and stuffs as well.) Propulsion:(Place it in order:Engines(followed by amounts;this will count towards 100-part limit scale),steam turbines(again,followed by amounts;maximum is 4,no more.Again,they counts toward 100-parts limit scale).Boilers,nuclear reactors,fusion reactors and gas turbines were well-known engines used today.) Speed:(Denoted by knots(eg.25 knots per hour and so on).If the ships have two different speed mode,stat that as well(like how fast they can go in battle or how slow they can go during free times(a.k.a leisure times).) Armor:(Measured by cm(eg.40cm plating and so on).Placements less than 49% of the ships were considered as core plating,taking less weight.On the other hand,anywhere more than 51% will take full plating,increasing their weight.Like most parts,the heavier the ship,the slower they can go per hour,but can take more damage before sinking.As mentioned,the weight's optional.) Aircrafts:(Types of aircrafts carried followed by numbers.Cruisers and battleships has limited amount of it while aircraft carriers can carry a few hundreds.Smaller ships has none,as they have no mean of launching them.For aircraft types,it's your call.Pick any planes you like,then load 'em in.Or your ship pilot crews will do so.Again,your call.) I'll join this in a bit, most likely as a UAV pilot. However, since this is naval-based, I would like to add that the US Navy by this time would've incorporated satellite-guided railguns to replace tomahawk missiles and actual laser weaponry. Most likely, many aircraft available will be mostly UAV, since it reduces the loss of life and actually allows the plane to carry more, thanks to the lack of any life support systems. Trust me, I'm pretty much in the military, though to be fair, not the Navy. NAME: Roxas Inosanto NICKNAME/TITLE: Nemo GENDER: Male AGE: 25 NATIONALITY: Filipino ROLE: Hacker/Pilot WEAPON: Machetes x 2, Balisong x 2, Escrima Sticks x 2 HOBBIES: PERSONALITY: Despite being a hacker, Nemo is oddly enough patriotic and willing to serve his country, though from the safety from the homefront. BIO: As a young boy, Roxas (pronounced Ro-has) wanted to be a pilot. Unfortunately, the Filipino Air Force was mediocre at best and additionally, he was rejected from military service due to an eye condition. While minor, it was enough to keep Roxas from ever becoming a pilot. Instead, Roxas turned to the life of a hacker, using the skills acquired from his computer engineering major. Soon, he would become an infamous hacker by the name of Nemo, meaning no one, or nobody. As a result of his hacking skills, Nemo was able to uncover the plot of the Empire beforehand and prepared for it in advance. During a test flight of their latest UAVs, Nemo and his allies were able to hijack a squadron of the latest UAVs and hide them in abandoned hangars. Now, with the coup d'et tat being carried out, Nemo supports the Freedom Force from the skies using his custom X-19 Gryphon. [To be edited later] The X-19 Gryphon is merely one out of many of the Empire's latest attempts at advancements in UAV technology. Unlike their predecessors, the latest project matches and exceeds the specs of their old fighter plane ancestors. Due to the lack of a pilot and powerful engines, the X-19 is capable of reaching and potentially exceeding Mach 5 while also equipped with the latest technologies, such as a Tactical Laser System, Guided Railgun, and even implements a series of additional drones for an all-range strike on any target. While costly, it is possible to mass-produce them in small quantities, should it ever get shot down. |

It's been a while,buds.Well,I'm going to post the first chapter for the RP,but I'm in no condition for such.Therefore,this spot will be reserved by then. Meanwhile,those from Filipino(correct me since I don't know other countries ;P) may begin their Chapter 0(a.k.a Prologue) first.For Japanese RPers,we'll begin our Chapter 0 with the navy training for some time(up to the point where the ship where the XO and their crews were shot down and sunk).How we fill the rest of the plots will depend on our post.Of course,I'll stick to mine,if possible. |

Before going on,there are few pointers I want to do: @Frozen:A BC ship,huh?Since its capability were unknown,I may allow its deployment.Then again,it could be a superweapon,too,and we haven't gone far enough(but we will,around Chapter 2 or so).For the time being,we'll keep going in the current chapter.Until then,it'll be mainly a mobile base like Floating Fortresses.I'll edit this post at one point,so now's a good time to post your introduction first before our characters meet each other thereafter. @Zou:Hey there.Been quite a while since the HITM(Highschool in the Military).Sure,it's already begun,though the cast's still pretty much open.Although I had to say,did your characters somehow moved to Japan after the boot camp?'Cause the Providence BC were Frozen's,and he's at the Japan with my character ;P Will be posting soon.My limited time doesn't allow me to do much XP |

Chapter 0 | Akimoto Residence - Lab Room | Early Morning Akira operated behind the screen of a holographic monitor in front of glass reinforced by tektite composite. He watched the mechanical arm that had poured a reactive element into a case filled with an undiscovered element. As the chemicals mixed, they immediately exploded, resulting in a fiasco. Akira sighed and left the cleaning to his lab assistants, whom purged the test room with a black mist that destroys every excess element that was produced during the test. |

[Chapter 0 | Providence - the Obstacle Course Shooting Range] As the providence is still dock into Japanese Harbor, Mark goes down to the ship's shooting range. This is his favorite place to practice shooting his Beretta 92 pistol and also go through a maze full of paper human targets. After, making it out at the end of maze, he checked with the guy that is recording his time. Guy: 2 minutes and 4 seconds, a slightly new record! Only by 2 minutes. Mark: -whistles- oh, man! Guy: -hands him some ammo clips- here is some new rounds for you Mark: sweet |

Naomi:Ah,Snake-san...Welcome to the Shirada Shipwork's docks.Which is,my dock ;P Snake:Hey,Naomi-san...So,what we'll do from here,huh? Naomi:First,I'll put you through training runs.For this,we'll use the Assault Destroyer. Snake:Assault Destroyer?They were American's,right?Why would they be...? Naomi:True indeed.Because we have no destroyer ships for official Imperial use,we borrowed them from the America. Snake:Oh,now I getcha..... Naomi:Actually,we'll also have a bit of weapons and air force training as well today,but the man that were supposed to be here hasn't arrived yet.... Snake:Hmm,who could that be...? Naomi:His name is.....Akira Akimoto.He was one of our weapons developer,and made weapons and military-use vehicles,mainly the jet fighters. Snake:(Akira?Sounds really familiar....) Naomi:He was supposed to be here early before you came.Perhaps he's testing something out again.... Snake:Reminds me of one guy.... Naomi:Hop into the ship,Snake.We'll begin training soon.When he comes,we can continue on the weapons later. Snake:Ha,bring them on! Naomi:Enthusiastic,as always.....OK,Snake,do your very best! Snake:Will do! Saying that,they hop into the Assault Destroyer and prepare for the training run.... [Akira Akimoto][Imperial Shogunate][Shirada Dock][Morning] Akira noticed that he was late for the training exercise that he was to give out. In response to being late, he rushed over to the shirada dock at imperial shogunate with a jet and landed within five minutes of flight. Akira: (Im glad the students aren't here yet) Akira begins to upload his intel onto numerous electronic boards, he hopes that his new program will help assist the newbie pilots during training. When the upload is complete, Akira sits down on a chair and begins to sort documents while waiting for the studens to arrive. |

Snake:Man,controlling the ship's course is harder than I thought... Naomi:Wow,Snake.I must say,you do better than Hiryu... Snake:Eh,souka?Well,I only did like my father taught me last time.... Naomi:Hmm,I see....OK,Snake.That's it for the training course.Now we'll begin the weapons training. Snake:Alright!But hey,where's the guy? Naomi:About that.... Crew:Admiral,Akira has arrived in the location. Naomi:About time...!Now that the man has show himself up,it's time to begin the training.Akira,I'll leave Snake to you. Naomi then press a few buttons,then the screen pops out,showing Akira on the screen. Snake:!! Naomi:Hmm? Snake:Zeri.... Naomi:I presume you guys know each other,huh... The first NPC introduction:  Naomi Shirada Admiral of the Imperial Navy.Even among the Imperial units,she is feared by both enemies and allies,being notoriously ruthless and uncontrollably violent(more so in the battle).Meeting Snake for the first time,however,change that one part of her,and began to respect him like how she respect his father,Hiryu during his service years(although the connection between Naomi and Hiryu remains mysterious;they probably fought alongside before once).The Shirada Shipworks,the center of Imperial naval activity in Tokyo Harbor, was named after her. @Frozen:I'll leave the training to you.Also,you can use Naomi as well,since she's a NPC.Do mind her personality,though ;P @All:There will be a number of updates when I'm done posting this one.One of them would be the character's abilities,a.k.a "Potentials".They don't serve much in the RP,however it could raise(or lower) morale,depending on what kind of abilities we had back there(some bad one does hurt quite a bit,though XP).If you guys played Valkyria Chronicles before,you'll know what this does.Again,I said,they don't serve much in the RP. |

Akira: Well, I didn't expect to see you here Snake, are you prepared for the air force training? Snake clutches his fist and says to Akira with determined eyes, "Of course! I'll get through your tests in no time" Akira: Ha ha, we'll see. Naomi: This would see fun to watch. --30 minutes later Snake finally managed to complete the training course.
