{INFINITE CONTRACT} Thousands of years ago, when the world was still young, there was a land that was known as a Utopia; it thrived with brilliance. This land was known as none other than Atlantis. Atlantis was but a mystery to everyone, it was a place that was still being explored despite its mystical kingdom being underwater. However, during the time before it sank to the further regions underground, the Atlantians were considered to have had warriors with mysterious beings at their sides-to protect themselves amongst dangers, or to play with: much alike pets were to the human beings. These Mysterious Beings were considered mythical, and had been told in great length, within greek legends and myths. They were mythical creatures. Yet again, however, since Atlantis had sunk underwater and into the sea, the knowledge of these creatures had been forever lost and now was only told in myth and fairytale. Twenty years ago, an archaeologist stumbled upon a tablet depicting how to summon and contact these mythical creatures. It was a major discovery. After having found this once hidden tablet, he went in search of the items that would allow contact with them. And after a few years, he found them. However, though he had found them, the magic held a devastating secret that he had not perceived from the start. It unleashed something upon the world, something that he would consider, evil. It was filled with hate, murderous intention, and malice. As it was unleashed, it awakened the other creatures from their slumber, but they were still unable to move due to having been bound within a seal until released. The time within this era is the future of 2022. War has been unleashed upon the world to those who are contracted by the virus unleashed. The sky is dark; rain no longer falls, only acid. This is all thanks to the hateful, malicious power that was unleashed. The human had considered the cause of the acid rain and mutated animals was only just the chemicals in the air, or that it was the armies fault. He had never given thought to the fact that he unleashed a new breed of being. Contracts. The once mythical creatures that had been considered only in fictional tale. Now a few Contracts are doing their best to bring back the peaceful world it once was. Will the Contract be able to accomplish this or will they fail? [INFORMATIONS] Hey everyone, yeah this is another rp I came up with. Yes I've told of this rp idea in the rp united before. But I change the idea of psychic to something that will be used in my manga. Yes this is my manga idea I came up with which I will make into actual manga. Anyway, in this rp, there will be sacrifice involve for those who are contracted with mythical creatures. What kind of sacrifices? well our senses mostly, but I shall put up a list of sacrifice you can choose from. How this work is that the thing you sacrifice is the thing you will get from the creature you contract with when in battle. For example, if you sacrifice your sense of sight, when in battle you get the creature you bonded with, its sight instead. But when not in battle, everything is normal except for no sense of sight and such. The Mythical creature you get to choose must be within the Greek Mythology area. Don't go beyond it like to china or japan and such. It must be within the range of Atlantis or Greek. In this era, people are a lot stronger than most unlike the previous era due to the mutated creatures and weather. If you have any more questions. PM me. [Definitions] CONTRACTORS : Humans who are bonded or in contract with mythical creatures. Both human and creatures meet at a certain places mostly ruins, temples or a place that hold ancient relics. Every contractor have a symbol that represents the creature they bonded with on their body. The contractors also gained one of the creatures power beside replacing its missing senses. SACRIFICE : Contractors when bonded with a mythical creature had to give up a sense. what the sense is, depends on how strong the creature is. The stronger the creature, the higher the sacrifice is. When in battle, the thing you sacrifice shall be replace by the creature senses. MYTHICAL CREATURES : These creatures are all known in myth in legends. They were once use in ancient times in Atlantis. However, they are all now sealed within certain relics across the globe; mainly because some artifacts that were found are now in museums. In order to release the seal, the human must perform a task or do something that seem significant enough to release it. THE WORLD : The world which was once bright, sunny and peaceful is now like a wasteland. Rain is acid rain, animals mutated. Only a few water are drinkable now for some water are now contaminated due to the acid rain. Some buildings are in ruins while some are still standing. MUTANTS : Animals or plants that are mutated into monsters. Here are the lists of the following mutated animals: Two-headed snakes, Giant poisonous worm, carnivorous rabbits, human eating plants and etc. Let’s just say that all animals are somewhat huge now. He is also able to coat the bullets in his gun with lightning, it is less draining for him than his own body.( Think of Saint seiya Pegasus meteor punch) -Skilled combat marksmanship BIO: Ever since the day, rain became acid rain. When the land became ruin, Jared had fought hard to survive against the creatures that was once ordinary animal and the nature itself. One day, upon exploring for food he stumble upon an old relic within a ruin. Due to curiosity, he glance at it before he picked it up. The relic looks like some kind of key. He glance around and see a tablet or something with the same design as the relic he found. He place the relic within the tablet. As he did, the tablet shines and with a blinding flash of light, he feel something flows within his body. After that, he passed out. As he came too, he does not recall anything or what happen except for a black horse with wings that stood before him where the huge tablet should be. Since that day, his journey as a contractor begins. However, whenever he is around ordinary people he does not need to hide the creature, rather creature transform itself into a miniature horse instead to blend in; Following Jared wherever he goes despite him wanting to get away from the creature. With this, he is able to detect and dodge about any attacks all due to the slightest movement from the enemies and is also able to detect things that seem out of place or a lie. - Gravitation: Able to manipulate gravity, for the gravity does not apply to him seeing that his creature is the griffin. He is able to take high jumps, making himself light. However, he is only able to manipulate about 7 times. If he over limit it, the power will go out of control. -Art of Kendo and martial arts: High class martial artist and kendo. He had trained thoroughly due to his sacrifice when he is not fighting against another contractor. BIO: Erebus was the son of the archaeologist who founded the tablet and the item. Because his father is an archaeologist, he occasionally would get to touch some of the artifacts that his father found. One day he walked into his father's office and saw an artifact on the table. He walked over towards it and picks it up. He noticed some markings like a puzzle. Due to curiosity, he puts the puzzle in its proper form. But because of this he came into contract with the griffin he bonded with. Not much is known about him after that. Except he has gone cold and went off to create an organization called BLACK CHRONOS. I will join this RP. I will reserve this post for my character. by the way I want to ask some questions: 1. The year is 2022. How about the technology? Is it still the same or the advanced technology from our time? (2011) e.g. like flying motorcycles, androids, mecha, etc. Or something like light saber or such? 2. In this RP, does magic exist? 3. If any player sacrifice sense of hearing, does it mean that other player(s) cannot sacrifice sense of hearing too? He can lower it down to minimal limit of 50%, decreasing the heat/cold/pressure/pain he experienced (but not reducing the damage taken). He can also intensify this sense up to maximal limit of 120%, causing him to be very sensitive to heat/cold/pressure/pain. With this intensified sense, he may detect source of heat/cold by range of 10 meters from him and multiply their effects on him (but not increasing the damage taken). He may feel the surface of any objects and identify them (their structure, their material(s), their attribute, etc) by the slightest touch on them, and also he may increase the range of this ability up to 10 meters. This ability makes him can feel the surface of everything on the ground and identify them around him only by letting his any part of his body that covered in skins in contact with the ground. This ability will multiply the effects of pressure and pain on him (but not increasing the damage taken). - [Gift from Phoenix] Pyrokinesis. He is able to ignite fire on anything that is flammable in range of 5 meters, and able to manipulate fire in the range of 10 meters from his existence. He is able to extend the range up to 20 meters but will cost him his own life force for every meter extended. [edited] It seems like everyone here are too creative about the abilities. And so I will follow the good example from everyone. Damon's ability to manipulate fire includes: - Creating fire projectiles by extracting fire from any flaming objects or by using his ability to ignite fire, he is able to make fireballs just by igniting oxygen in the air, even if there's nothing to ignite. - He is able to materialize fire into solid form. For example, he is able to create a pillar-like object from fire. - When there's a lot of fire around, he is able to use 90% of his mana to create a spheric shield around his body, created from the fire. This shield will inflict continous burning sensations to everything around it, in area of effect of 10 meters. Anyone or anything that doesn't try to leave the area of effect will get burned completely in 30 minutes. - By using his own life force, reducing his stamina down by 50%, he is able to summon a gigantic wave of flames that will burn everything that is on its way. The height of the wave is approximately 3 meters. This skill can be only used once, or Damon will lose his life for sure. - He is agile and alert to sound. His quick movement will help him a lot in battles, but his stamina is somewhat low. BIO: Damon, one of the survivors of this chaotic era. He found himself in a giant ancient temple ruins that was hidden in the Athens' underground. he couldn't recall anything of his past except for his name. In the ruins, he found an ancient tablet that written in unknown language, but surprisingly he could understand everything that written on it. That ancient tablet was an ancient method to summon Phoenix, one of the epic myth creatures. And so, he summoned the Phoenix, losing his sense of touch for the sacrifice. From there, he started to try to find his lost memories, together with the Phoenix. Fighting to survive in this harsh world that is chaotic. His early motive for joining Seraphic Order was just for finding his lost memories. He was uncooperative back then, because he thought that anyone but him was nothing important to him. But now, after watched that this world is cannot be abandoned in chaos, he started to find his own way of justice, putting his first motive in the last priority for now. She can go from being happy and cheery one minute to being nasty, sarcastic and cold the other. WEAPONS: Tawrich and Zarich SACRIFICE: Sense of Emotion ABILITY: a) [Gift From Dementor] Gravekeeper's Cloak/Gravemaker's Chill - When not in use, the Dementor acts as a cloak (hence, Gravekeeper's Cloak) that surrounds her and causes the surrounding atmosphere to grow cold and dark. Overexposure causes one to become depressed, and if prolonged, driven insane. Gravemaker's Chill naturally grants the ability of ice manipulation. When the Dementor is not acting as a cloak or even if it is, Gravemaker's Chill can be activated. If the Dementor is still in cloak form, then this ability can be used without problems. If the Dementor is not in cloak form, this can only be used for one hour a day. b) Void Avesta - This causes the inflicter to feel the physical effects of the wounds that she takes in battle once she recites it's name. This technique isn't considered fatal in most cases, although can severely cripple contractors; and can likely kill weaker humans. In addition, she must recite the name of the curse each time she wants to apply it's effect, and this can only be done when she is wounded. c) Rule Breaker - Activation of this allows her to sense the emotions of those around her in a very large radius. She can interpret these to guess attacks. Also, she can subtly manipulate their emotions by increasing them (making their anger into a berserk rage). BIO: Rosaline Euryale was born with a rather curious personality. Even as an adult that did not diminish within her until THAT day. She was exploring underneath the ruins of the Louvre Museum after hearing rumors of it being the location of the grave of Mary Madeline. She cracked open an ancient sarcophagus but her actions had a cost. She had released a powerful monster called a Dementor. A Dementor is a Dark creature, considered one of the foulest to inhabit the world. Dementors feed off human happiness, and thus cause depression and despair to anyone near them. They can also consume a person's soul, leaving their victims in a permanent vegetative state. Rosaline somehow fought back against the creature until it judged her worthy and offered her a contract. Left with little choice she accepted. Now whenever not in combat, the Dementor takes the appearance of a shadowy and ghostly cloak that drapes around Rosaline making others creeped out. She joined the Seraphic order in hopes of using her powers for something worthwhile. APPEARANCE: CREATURE'S APPEARANCE: NAME: Harry Potter AGE: 22 GENDER: Male FACTION: Neutral ROLE: Contractors CREATURE: Ahool SYMBOL: PLACE: Chest PERSONALITY: Although he is usually seen as a laid-back, jovial fellow, Harry also shows a deceptively cunning and serious side when the situation warrants it. He commonly uses idle conversation and outward concern as an act of distracting his opponents. Despite his care-free attitude, he always speaks politely, but is sometimes sarcastic. He once described himself as a "mere honest, sexy, handsome, perverted businessman." Harry can usually be found near the scene of an important event (albeit arriving late sometimes), however he rarely intervenes in situations, preferring to stay on the sidelines. He often tends to know more information then he lets on, and although being a major player he acts only as a catalyst, having others do the work for him. To counter his deafness that comes with his contract, he had trained himself to become a master at lip reading making it seen that he is quite normal and deceiving people who do not know about his contract. WEAPONS: The Carpathian Dragons. Twin handguns that are blood-powered. They store blood within themselves to use as bullets. If the blood gauge runs try, they will began to drains Harry's blood. They have 6 different modes and each set of modes has a different effect and can be switched to another. To recharge the blood gauge, they must drain the enemy's blood. SACRIFICE: Sense of Hearing ABILITY: a) Sound of Silence - Activation of this allows him to detect minute sounds from almost 40 meters away. This makes him very hard to hit as he can avoid attacks even by detecting the movements of an opponent. b) Summer Breeze - Allows Harry to manipulate wind. He can only use this for a total of one hour each day (it does not have to be consecutively). c) [Gift From Ahool] Crimson Reaper - Allows him to use his own blood as a weapon. He can also use the enemies blood but to do so it must be either outside of their body or his own blood must be within their body. BIO: A veteran of the previous war even at such a young age, Harry Potter often feels a large weight on his soul. At some point during the war, he stumbled upon a unique creature called an Ahool terrorizing London. The Ahool which is more or less a demonic bat was forced into a contract after being defeated by him. When not in combat, it often turns into an average sized fruit bat and follows him around and rests on his shoulders. He came to the Vatican City and opened up a shop. His shop which also doubles as a bar sells everything from candy to guns to information. Despite the Vatican City's best efforts, evicting him has become an impossible task. Although he was blind he had a fascination in artifacts because of the history they carried with them. One day, his mother gave him a small blue gem and told him that it was a lucky charm that will protect him as long as he always keeps it on. During the school’s he’s attended he has always heard others make fun of him for his inability to see. Two years after he graduated elementary school as a transfer student, he decided to learn martial arts. He picked a weapon that was most suited to him, which was a Japanese triple bladed lance (Jumonji Yari). Even though he was blind, he overcame this difficulty and became successful in mastering the art within three years. During the day of judgement, he was sitting on the porch listening to the night as his sister watched the skies sitting beside him. They talked about what they could do tomorrow, but none of the two could have predicted what would happen. The skies turned dark and he lost consciousness. -THE BEGINNING- The sky was dark and cloudy like night. The atmosphere is but gloomy and dreary. Everyday was a battle. Every moment is all but survival. [Damon]~[Somewhere near San Pietro] The sky is cloudy, and the atmosphere is so gloomy. The view is so messy, that Damon refuse to stare on anything around him. The road where he is walking on is the main road to San Pietro, and there is only a few people there. Only despair that could be felt here, where he could see people with the same gloomy eyes like the grayish sky. He is going to go to San Pietro, where he could feel some energy waving from the church. He released his Phoenix in stealth mode, ordered the Phoenix to watch over the area. He could feel agony and lust from everyone gathered on the road, it felt like everyone is watching on him. He prepared his twin handguns, anticipating if anyone is going to attack him. From the shared eyesight of Phoenix and him, now he could see the church. Phoenix is watching the church from far away, and it sw a figure of a female person entered the church. And then, after that, a figure of a man entered the church. From the appearance, Damon recognized the man. He is Azarel, one of his comrade in Seraphic Order. Damon : "What is he doing here? Is it Seraphic's assignment for him to go to the church?" Damon ordered his Phoenix to dematerialize itself and wait for him to come. After some steps forward, now Damon is standing in the front of the church. He could feel the flowing energy of Contractor there. Damon : "Something must be held in the church. I will check." Damon readied his twin handguns and then entered the church.

[Cortile de San Damaso]-Black Chronos-Kyle Revenant Kyle walked out of Cortile de San Damaso, looking absolutely bored. He tried sensing any traces of contractors but still nothing. His emblem and crystal glowed once more. Manticore: This getting really boring. Come on. Let me out! I want to kill! Kyle: We can't have you attracting attention of the Seraphic Order. We need to attack them without them seeing it coming. Manticore: When did you become such a strategic hotshot? Kyle didn't dignify the question with a response. He then heard a strange noise in the air. He looked up and saw a helicopter over Piazza San Pietro. Kyle: What could over there? Manticore: Beats me but it seems fun! I might be able to kill someone after all. Go for it. Kyle walked to San Pietro slowly as to not trigger his instability problem.

[Jared Blackthorne|???-Vatican City] Jared look out the window for a few more moments before leaning away from it. He walks down the hall. All you could hear is his footsteps. He silently walks out of the SERAPHIC ORDER building with Pegasus at his side in its other form. He silently walks down the fallen street and gaze around with his alluring silver-lavender eyes. As he walk, he sense something in the air. He walks away from the road and to a abandon building. He enters it and looks around. Inside, everything is in ruins but the structure resembles what seem to be a temple. He walk deeper inside the building and silently observe the area. " Hey Jared, I sense something over there at the walls," Pegasus stated as it walk over towards a wall. He follows and examine the wall that Pegasus walks toward at. He notice a symbol in the wall. With curiosity, he pushes the wall where the symbol is. The wall pushes back and slowly he felt the building rumbles. The wall before him opens revealing a secret passage. He takes a step towards and found himself walking down a staircase. As he walk, the torches lit up by itself. He continues to descend the stairs with Pegasus following behind till they found themselve face to face with a door. He opens it without hesitation and inside reveals a chamber. At the very center lies what seem to be a Silver Goblet on an altar. He walks over towards it and reads the plate written on the altar. Thee who thou take this Goblet. Shall be Blessed or Cursed. For thee heart is shall be shown within this Goblet. Its desire shall be fulfill. .. . The rest was scratched off. Jared look at the Goblet and takes it in his hand. The Goblet glow and changes before his eyes. No longer the color Silver but White-transparent almost. He puts the goblet in his bag and walks out of the chamber and out of the building. He walks down the street and back to HeadQuarters.

But humans are selfish, they make it all the gods fault and pray they will fix it for them...by the way...why do I keep hearing tapping right behind me?) Chimera: (oh, that's just a blind man walking with his stick...huh? He is walking too straight for a blind man, he is following the sounds of your steps?) Sasha: (that's not good, don't want anyone near me when stealing somthing. I have a plan.) Sasha runs toward the nearest open alter and pretended to pray. She continued and waited for the reaction of the blind man.
