Didn't see a thread up for this yet, so I thought I would put it up. A Persona 4 anime will apparently be hitting this Fall. It's being directed by Seiji Kishi and will have music by Shoji Meguro. Trailer: The studio doing the anime is AIC ASTA. Never heard of this studio myself, but I don't watch a whole lot of anime right now. Anyone want to fill me in on some other stuff that they have done recently?    |

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/company.php?id=3751 They animated Bamboo Blade which was a popular anime, one of my favorites. :) They also did Blood+ so they aren't n00bs at action sequences.

Hope it wont be as disappointing as trinity soul, lol. And I hope the original voices from the game are used. I wanna hear Rie Kugimiya as Rise so baddd. But srsly. Yu Narukami? Sounds girly to me. Souji Seta definitely sounds better.  |

I'm looking forward to this, especially since the music will be done Shoji Meguro. I love all of his pieces from Persona 3 and 4

Yup, this fall's gonna be the best coz we'll get to see 'Persona 4' animated.. What makes Persona 4 more interesting to watch is coz Shoji Meguro music will be playing every week when Persona 4 finally airs..  |

@DA - I haven't seen either of those, but it's good to know that they have some kind of reputable series under their belt. I'm wondering if the main character will have a relationship in the anime. From what I've read, Yukiko is supposed to be the 'cannon' relationship in Persona 4. Something about her dialog being the most fitting and making the most sense or something like that. My friend figures that they probably won't have a relationship for the main character though, since in the game it's left up to the player. I'm kind of rooting for Chie personally, she was my favorite of the female characters. |

@Yuna - You made a good choice. It's my favorite Persona game so far, mainly because of the cast of characters. It's more entertaining and a little bit more lighthearted than Persona 3. That's the main reason I'm looking forward to the anime so much. |

Personally, I'm rooting for Rise. She's my favorite girl in the game and well, she's voiced by Rie Kugimiya. Gonna be nice seeing Kugyu in a less-tsundere role. Also, I think it's somewhat cute how she acts towards the MC. She was definitely better than Fuuka too in the games, her voice wasn't monotone like Fuuka's. My second favorite would be...Chie, cause I have this weird attraction to tomboyish girls. Although if it was Yukiko I wouldn't mind much, she's good in her own way, and you gotta admit, Amaterasu looks fricking cool. Suzuka Gongen looks like Darth Maul, which is also cool, but I like Amaterasu better. Speaking of ultimate Personae, since in the games, we have to max the Social Links to get their ultimate Personae, do they go for an alternative and scrap the Social Link system and make a story for every character to get their ultimate Personae or will they opt for to make the MC a total player? XD In another point-of-view, how do you guys think this anime will turn out? Because despite all the lightheartedness, we can't forget about the dark scenes in the game. Like the murders and stuff. Will this adaptation lean on the dark side, or will it lean on the lighter side of P4? Or a mix on both? One thing's for sure, I really hope they don't cut and change the story in anyway. I really want to see Yosuke piss his pants. Also, is this anime a one cour(13 episodes) or a two cour(24/5/6 episodes)? Although considering all the story, this anime better be a one year anime(52 episodes). If it was any shorter than that, I'm afraid they're gonna leave out some parts, which would suck. Speaking of which, I hope they use the BGMs from the game, I liked I'll Face Myself -Battle- very much, and also Signs of Love. |

@aoi - I fully expect Izanagi-no-Okami to appear the same way as in the game, but whether or not the main character will be able to change Persona at will is something I'm interested to find out. As for everyone else, my guess is that they will either: A) Not have the Persona change at all throughout the series. B) Give each character a one-shot episode where the main character helps them through a personal problem only to have a quick battle at the end of the episode where the Persona 'evolves'. C) Actually have the main character interact with all of them equally over the course of many episodes until they overcome their personal obstacles. 'B' is the laziest option in my opinion, so I'm hoping they don't go with that. 'A' seems like the option to expect if the series is a short 12 or 24 episode run. 'C' is what I expect most people are hoping for. As for how long it goes for, something tells me that they will stick with 24 episodes. I would love to it go on for 40 or 50 episodes, but my guess will be 24. The music is being done by Shoji Meguro, who was the games main composer, so I wouldn't worry about that. I'm sure they will reuse some of the music from the game, but completely new music would be just as good. |

agreed about the music. And I do hope it has the violent parts. It gives the creepy/interesting mood to the serie And JC I DO hope it is better then trinity. I hated that serie so bad |
