What do you think when you see the three words for the title of this story? What appears in your mind when you see “Numbersâ€? Add that with “Game†and you get Numbers Game. Which by definition means “An illegal daily lotteryâ€. But what does the connotation of the two words imply? Welcome to the Numbers Game. You have been specifically chosen to command the next generation quantum super computer that may change the fate of our world. These super computers have the ability to control worldwide government and organization actions, granting you access to anything you desire. However, your objective is to defeat other players, as there can only be one winner. The only method to defeat a player is to destroy their supercomputer to a state where it can no longer function. As you may have expected, the quantum super computer you control remains heavily guarded at an unknown location safe from any type of attack. Instead of directly operating the super computer, you are issued either a mobile smart phone, laptop, or watch. Your proxy is the only method of controlling your super computer, so please treat it like your life depends on it. If your proxy or supercomputer is not functioning you have lost the game. Your actions and commands are constantly under surveillance by one of many satellites we control. The country, in which you participate for this game, will be in Europe. Within a large city owned by Mr. Kisaragi, who obtained the land by paying off the country(s) (Germany, UK, Poland, etc) debts. We the Kisaragi corporation wish you best of luck when playing The Numbers Game. P.S. Nobody except you and the other players know about this game. Now, I shall begin a description of the proxies you may choose Watch  Mobile Smart Phone  Laptop  All three of our products for you include a next generation feature of integrated touch hologram display, but can be disabled and converted to your device. Your commands are directly linked to a private satellite we operate. The waves used for transportation of commands and information are uniquely encrypted by a state of art quantum system, similar to that of your personal supercomputer. How do you issue commands through these devices? There will be a button somewhere on your device with the Kisaragi insignia labeled on them. Through that, you will be re-directed to your operator (who happens to be your super computer). Your Operator (or super computer) will be the mechanic behind your request. So if you want to a Ferrari delivered your garage, the super computer will buy that specific Ferarri and have a Kisaragi employee drive that vehicle to your garage immediately. Players The players are the ones controlling their body guards and super computer. Their objective is to defeat other players either by killing them or destroying their super computer or proxy. All proxies have been topped with one billion dollars in cyber money. The player may head to the Kisaragi bank to obtain physical money from their proxy. However if the player does not take action to defeat other players, the device will shut down and self-destruct. Players do not know the identities of other players except know what they have purchased. Which can be viewed on the proxy. Body Guard They will protect their assigned player at any cost, even if it risks their life. Depending on the command they have every right to decline a direct order from the player. They cannot be bribed or turn against their player or engage in a relationship with them. If the bodyguard dies, he/she will be replaced with the one next in line. - Post you're Location So that everyone could have a clear view of where your character is. -Every space is crucial, as there will not be any time for those missing in action. Those who have problems from real life must contact me and we can solve the problem together. - The minimum amount for each post is one paragraph. Yes that means six sentences. If you have writers block please take your time to write your post as I will ignore one to three line posts, - You may not control other characters or actions, be realistic just like real life. - The actions will be based on reality and therefore a human cannot survive being hit by a missile. Or falling into a pit of fiery lava without wearing anything protective enough. In short no god modding or invincibility. - If you will be away or absent for any amounts of time please tell me. If one person must be absent or away, we will momentarily take a break from The Numbers Game as your character can be on vacation if you wish to post, otherwise sit back and refresh your mind. - PG 14 please. That involves being vague on gore, sexuality, or violence (violence is optional). - If you do not follow these rules, you will be given one warning. Once you have obtained two warnings, the Kisaragi Corporation will terminate your character. And you will be forced to restart. -A single person may make 2 posts a day. -You may not use a character from any anime, or copy their abilities. This includes their names, abilities and history. -Please be active throughout the role-play as we cannot have any slackers without reason. -For every command you do such as buy a tomahawk missile, you must research on your own the cost of the merchandise before you post. For actions such as controlling the president of the US, it must be logical and not something for fun. She hacked all three servers; she hacked the backups; she disabled every function; and in a single day and night of misfortune, the entire MMORPG sunk beneath the waves of cyberspace. And in that single day and night, her parents hung themselves. Amelia then went on a hacking spree, inflicting serious damage to a number of servers for web devices of all kinds, in an effort to block out her parents' deaths. She stayed inside all that time, never eating, sleeping only when she couldn't stay awake, trying to work herself to death. When she was finally caught, she was tried and given a two-year prison sentence. At the end of that prison sentence, she was sixteen going on seventeen, and she received all sorts of computer programming job offers. She turned them all down - she didn't want anything to do with computers after that. So she started living off of various part-time jobs, with retail featuring highly. Character profile - Players Name: Miki Unega Gender: Female Age: 18 Role: Player Location: Mall Personality & Hobby: Miki has been described by most people as "a little ball of sunshine." She is most commonly found running after stray cats and trying to learn to play "Piano Man" on the harmonica. Bio: Miki used to be an ordinary schoolgirl. That was before she turned 14. At that point, everything began to change. First her cat died. That in and of itself was a tragedy unheard of for her, since the cat was nine years old. Even now, she's looking for a replacement. Shortly after, her schoolwork began to slip becauseof that grief combined with the pressure of her parents' impending divorce. After her work hit rock bottom, she began to get back on the upswing, but not enough to stay in her school. She was expelled, and her parents were so furious they threw her out. She wandered the streets for three years. And through all of it, she never lost hope that things would get better. She was approached by the Kisaragi corporation and given a chance for redemption. In her parents' eyes and in those of society. For a year she was trained for the Numbers Game and, while not the best player, she is certainly the company favorite. Bio: Eddie was a security guard in the Kisaragi corporation when he noticed a little girl wandering around the company one day. He asked her what she was doing and she said, "I'm here toplaythe Numbers Game." Eddie didn't know what that was, but told her if she needed anything, she should find him right away. Later, he was approached and told that during the game, he would be protecting that same girl.
