ψZweilt Guardians Investigation ψ

Plot: In our world, we hear and seen many things. Many of them became legends and myth, some became just stories to scare off people. Are these supernaturals, legends and myth true or not? Well, a group of investigators who called themselve, Zweilt. The Zweilt goal is to unravel the mystery behind every legend, myth and supernatural. Right now they are out on there first case. To unravel the legend of the Headless Horseman. To do this, they travel to the very place where the legend first started; Sleepy Hollow.

In this rp, the headless horseman will be unleashed bringing death and chaos. It will be up to the Zweilt to stop it. How? Well with the use of there psychic powers. Each member of the Zweilt have a certain psychic ability, with this they are able to investigate on the mysteries of legend and myth. So if you are brave enough to face the headless horseman in this rp then join.

When it is take place? Well it shall take place in the present time, but the date will be a week or two before Halloween. Good luck to you all brave Investigators.


Psychic Abilities

The type of Psychic Ability that you can choose from are;

-Scrying-Use of an item to view events at a distance or in the future

-Retrocognition-Perception of past events

-Faith Healing-Diagnosing and curing disease

-Dowsing-Ability to locate objects

-Clairvoyance-Perception outside the known human senses

-Death Warning-A vision of a living person prior to their death

-Mediumship-Ability to see and communicate with the dead (i.e., ghosts).

-Precognition-Ability to perceive the future. It may be expressed in vague dreams while asleep, other times it can be clear and can occur at will. It may also be used as a form of "danger sense" to show the user that they are being threatened and from what direction it is coming from.

-Psychokinesis-Ability to manipulate and control objects with the mind, often in ways not visible to the naked eye.

-Technopathy-Ability to manipulate technology. Manifested as a special form of electrical/telekinetic manipulation, a special form of "morphing" which allows physical interaction with machines, or even a psychic ability that allows for mental interface with computer data.

-Empathy-Ability to read or sense the emotions and/or control the emotions or feelings of others

-Echolocation- Ability to determine location of objects in the environment by use of reflected sound waves, whether generated by the character or ambient sound. Also known as sonar or radar sense.

Astral Projection- Also known as astral travel, this is the ability to separate and control one's astral body.

Mental Projection- Ability to project one's consciousness/emotions into the astral plane, into another, or to make them real.

Telepathy- Ability to read the thoughts of, or to mentally communicate with others

Weapons Transformation-Able to transform a certain object into a weapon; ex. Rings into a gun or Bracelet into a giant sword

Information

Headless Horseman:
The legend of the Headless Horseman begins in Sleepy Hollow, New York. The Horseman was a Hessian of unknown rank; one of many such hired to suppress the American Revolutionary War. During the war, the Horseman was one of 51 Hessians killed in a battle for Chatterton Hill, wherein his head was severed by an American cannonball. He was buried in a graveyard outside a church. Thereafter he appears as a ghost, who presents to nightly travelers an actual danger (rather than the largely harmless fright produced by the majority of ghosts), presumably of decapitation.

" The dominant spirit, however, that haunts this enchanted region, and seems to be commander-in-chief of all the powers of the air, is the apparition of a figure on horseback, without a head. It is said by some to be the ghost of a Hessian trooper, whose head had been carried away by a cannon-ball, in some nameless battle during the Revolutionary War, and who is ever and anon seen by the country folk hurrying along in the gloom of night, as if on the wings of the wind. His haunts are not confined to the valley, but extend at times to the adjacent roads, and especially to the vicinity of a church at no great distance.... the body of the trooper having been buried in the churchyard,the ghost rides forth to the scene of battle in nightly quest of his head, and that the rushing speed with which he sometimes passes along the Hollow, like a midnight blast, is owing to his being belated, and in a hurry to get back to the churchyard before daybreak."

Zweilt:
Zweilt is a group of Psychic that gather together to unravel mysteries from supernatural beings to legends and myths. It is founded by the head of the Giou Clan. They never stay in one place for long, as long as there is a legend to solve, they shall always be there with a few minor injuries. Now there goal is to solve the legend of the Headless Horseman in Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Personality: Kind, Protective, aloof, tend to be the most calm out of all the zweilt guardians.

Psychometry- Occasionally is able to use this ability at will but sometime he is unable to control it. His ability level is at 7.5/10.

Innate capability-Ability to naturally have skills and/or knowledge typically earned through learning; So far he is an expert at kendo/fencing and any form of martial arts

Weapon Transformation(8.5/10)-Able to transform his ring into a gun during battle.

Bio:The bearer of Kami no Mimi, God's Ears. Tsukumo is part of the Giou Clan. His powers seem to be the ability to speak with animals, sense people, and transform his ring into a gun during a battle. For some reason he always has snacks with him. He seems to be extremely close with his older sister Toko, whom he calls Toko-chan and says he will always protect. He was somewhat force to be part of the Zweilt by his grandfather at a young age, who is the head of the Zweilt.

Personality: Kind and caring, she values her friends very much and will do anything to protect them. She loves the Lolita fashion and always dresses in it.

Abilities:
- Mediumship (9.5/10) (Ciarra is a professional Medium.)
- Ciarra is also very knowledgeable about Psychology and History.

Bio: Ciarra was born as a Medium, but never thought much about her powers until she learned that normal people didn't have this ability. She learned this when she was six years old, when she was on a school field trip to a battleground and she ended up talking to soldiers that had died. When she learned this, she tried her best to fit in with her ability, succeeding to a certain degree. When she graduated high school, Ciarra traveled to New York City. There, she studied under some of the best Mediums in the world, and there she also met her future husband, Kayvaan. When she was 21, she became a professional Medium, and shortly after she married Kayvaan. However, one night when Ciarra was 23, she and Kayvaan were involved in a fatal car accident. Ciarra blames herself for the accident, but was relieved that she could still communicate with her husband as a Medium.
After her husband's death, Ciarra looked for something to keep her mind off of things. Eventually she found Zweilt and joined the group.

Personality: Kayvaan is good-natured and humorous person, who enjoys practical jokes and conversations

Abilities:
Psychokinesis (9.7/10): Due to him being dead and this being the only real way of interacting with his enviroment,
he has developed impressive psychokinetic abilities. It seems that the distance between his "body" and the object
he is attempting to move does have some correlation, but the distance doesn't effect his finesse at all.

Incorporeal:
Physical obstacles are of no hindrance to Kayvaan and even though he can assume corporeal state, he can only
do so for a limited amount of time. If he is "killed" while in corporeal state he will vanish for a period of
time, the exact lenght isn't known, but he will always reappear near Ciarra.

Intelligence:
Kayvaan was quite intelligent when he was alive, but since his death his memory and his mental capabilities have
gotten decisively better.

Bio: Kayvaan had a rather normal childhood and he first realised his psychic ability to move things without
touching while in high school. He used this ability to make some extra money as a street magician. He met Ciarra
some time after graduating from high school. Initially the reasin he liked being with her was that she had
"ability", like he did. He had kept up training his psychokinesis when ever he had time and could do it without
anyone seeing. As years passed his feelings for her changed and they married shortly after she had become
a professional medium. He never blamed Ciarra for the accident that claimed his life. He does not know why he is
still staying in this world, but he knows it's related to Ciarra in some way. He also has noticed something that
separates him from other ghosts they have encountered since joining Zweilt and the thing is that he seems to be
aging as if he was still alive, the reason for this is completely unknown as not even Zweilt has records of
something like that happening to any ghost. As a ghost he has devoted all his spare time into mastering his
psychokinesis and since he doesn't need to sleep or eat he has had a lot of time to practice.

Personality: has a very stoic and introverted personality, preferring simple body language rather than speaking ll Gentle and Fragile at times ll

Bio: Hanna's family is very wealthy, However, her mother and father are never at home when she is. So basically she is always on her own, even with the company of her personal maid. When she was 8 she went inside her parents room which was forbidden.

She been a small child wanted to at less imagine the company of her parents, so once she touched the picture placed on top of the night table which showed them hugging her, she began to have a intriguing and painful headache, and with it came the vision of her parents death.

She fainted after worth, later waking up to the news that her parents were killed in a air plain accident, which nether survived. She didn't say a word or even shed a tear at there funeral. Because some how she already lived the event.

From that moment Hanna had an ability named Scrying, with use of an item she could view events at a distance or in the future. When she turned 17 she moved away from her main house into New York, looking for some one called Tsukumo Murasame. With him she thinks that may be he could explain what has she become and how she could stop it. But with that event she indirectly joined Zweilt.

Bio: Physically and emotionally abuse since childhood, Lyka continued to repress her anger and all negative emotions. She always felt that she could deal with things on her on and never told anyone about them. She's terrified that they would just ignore or belittle her. As the abuses gets worse, so does her anger and hatred heightens. Eventually, she became callous which led her to develop empathy. She woke up being sensitive to people's emotions, manipulating them, but used them for justice.

@fharis, please change your psychic power rating down around to 8/10. For Empathy power are a lot harder to control since you will have to control many people's emotion, so change it to 8 or 8.5.

PERSONALITY: Switches between grumpy and cheerful at the drop of a hat. Displays grumpiness via sarcasm. His rather high intelligence is somewhat canceled out by his laziness.

ABILITIES:

> Clairvoyance (LV. 9/10)
- He can enter a brief period of hypersensory awareness where one or more senses of his choice are amplified. In this "hypersensory trance", Carmine can feel things most humans would be unable to feel. The drawback to this is that this hypersensory state can leave Carmine physically and mentally exhausted if left on for too long ("too long" being about 5+ seconds).

Other than that, Carmine has a weaker version of his hypersensory powers on by default. Although it's little more than a slight feeling that goes through his body (usually like a sharp shock), he can use it predict the next action an opponent will take (a bit like how Spider-Sense works in the Spider-Man comic).

BIO: The son of a first-generation immigrant from Italy, Carmine discovered his psychic powers at 11 years of age, when, during a fight, he managed to perfectly dodge a schoolyard bully's punch and knock him over with a punch of his own- all because he "just knew" what the bully would do next.

Ever since that day, he'd become more and more interested in the esoteric and the paranormal, especially the subject of psychic powers. This eventually led him to Zweilt, where he discovered that he had the power of clairvoyance.

@icarael; please change your psychic ability: Psychokenisis, for that power is already taken by fenris. As for your question, I already stated what time period, it will happen in the modern time, our timeline in this century

@fenris, could you change the rating of your powers, for I doubt anyone even a ghost could have that high level of power. You can have the rating power at 9 though.

Bio - started out as a bad dower mostly pin pointing the things he wanted to find

and take his sweet time too much. but then he heard rumors about group of

Personality: Introverted, but can be a good companion once you get to know him. He lets his shyness take over him and often fidgets with his drawing pencil when he's embarrassed. He often views himself in a negative manner, thinking that he is the weakest of the group. Often with his sketchbook, Stel is usually found drawing new things for himself to project into the physical world. Along with his sketchbook, Stel often has his headphones hanging around his neck because music helps him create.

Abilities:
Mental projection 8/10
- can create things with physical properties out of shadows
- adding color strains a little bit but is do-able
- can project images into people's minds, useful for showing a location to an ally or just for instilling fear in an enemy

Bio: Orphaned when he was young, Stel has always been an outcast. The orphanage in which he stayed was the only home he ever knew. Unlike the other boys, Stel did not spend his time playing sports and games. Instead, he spent all his time sitting in his room and drawing. All his life, Stel thought that he didn't belong, his parents didn't want him, adults wanting to adopt a child didn't want him, his name didn't even fit his race. His powers awakened when he was 10. He was sitting under a tree with the sun behind his back, watching his own shadow. Looking for new inspiration, he let his mind wander, thinking about all the birds and animals he could draw in his sketchbook. Suddenly, he saw the shadow of a bird move across the grass. He looked up but saw no bird in the sky. The shadow of the bird kept circling on the grass as if waiting for a command. Stel entertained the wild idea that the shadow was under his control and tried to direct it. To his surprise the shadow moved wherever and however he wanted it to. It was almost as if the shadow had leaped out of his imagination and manifested itself in real life. Further concentration formed a bird to belong to the shadow but it was hard to keep it stable. He found that it was easier to just create things out of shadows then give them physical properties. This new discovery convinced Stel that he didn't belong where he was so he decided to run away from the orphanage and pursue a place to belong. He found this place in the Zweilt. His mental projection ability has now increased quite a bit and he always strives to do better and bring more imagination into the use of his ability.

Appearance: Black hair hair that almost reaches his eyes, wears a slightly bigger than his size black hoodie with purple and white designs on it with the sleeves rolled up. Often has a small black and white satchel with him to carry pencils and his sketchbook. Wears dark jeans and black and white shoes.

Abilities: Precognition Lv. 8.2, She is a fast runner when it comes down to dodging people and shes not bad with a Blades (swords or large knives)
Bio: Anya is a rather rich Precognition to say the least, She is rather trustful but loves buying things like clothes and new cars things she doesn't need but wants. She lives in America at the moment but lived in Russia most of her life.
She mostly gambles and plays at the Casino to win money and has a side job telling peoples futures. She likes Boxing and Running on the weekends but never goes with anyone.She likes being alone most of the time so if she gets mad at you for interrupting her "me time" (which 80% of her day) She will yell. She has recently joined Zweilt six months ago so she is still getting use to them.
Favorite thing to do is tell ghost stories to people. She has mastered the art of Aikijutsu and knows everyones pressure point in on the body and can hit them with out fail.

Personality: Hector has a problem of protecting himself and assuring his own safety before helping friends or family, this is his fatal flaw. Besides this, he is a very laid back person and will follow the schedule of his group, unless he feels he has been wronged or is being walked into a corner.

Abilities: Telepathy (3/10) - Hector had never been naturally endowed a psychic gift, and it has taken him long years of practice to gain a weak grasp on his skill | Natural Leader - During times of panic and stress Hector is able to organize his thoughts quicker and this enhances his telepathic ability ( this is one of the only times when his telepathy is of any really productive use)| Scaling Obstacles - What he lacks in mental capacity he makes up for in a physical tendency. He is able to jump walls that others might struggle with due to sleekness, or height (I bet it has to do with the shoes... they must be nice shoes).

Bio: There is always the group of kids that seem like they are missing an element of humanity, their reactions to reality and sympathy were frayed at some point in their past or hidden from them. Hector had been one of these children for a very long time, and it wasn't until he realized his parents were cutting ties with him that he could finally define his own personality. He had always lived a rich life and opportunities had always been given to him since childhood: A good school, a nice car, and a steady job. He was a law student at a Canadian legal firm, but Hector had become rather bored with the scheme that his parents had set and He felt that he was missing something that his old classmates had witnessed, a life style that really fit them. Hector had finally discovered that he desired adventure, so he quit his desk job and for a while he had nothing to do... until he found Zweilt.

Appearance: Sleek blond hair. His bangs just graze the top of his eyebrows, and a stray strand on each side hangs just beneath his ears. The back is just long enough to touch his neck. His sideburns reach down, and stop at his chin. He often wears a white hooded sweater with a small emblem on the left side which promotes his law degree. Hidden within the inner pocket is a single .22 caliber bullet pen.

Bio: A girl loved by her family with kind parents. Her Dad is a police and her mother is a housewife. Her parents teach her and her little sister to be strong and independent. Centuries ago. . .


A horseman ride through the raging battle field, tearing down anyone in front of him.

At a far distance two little girl watched in there hiding spot. They watched as the horseman approached the hills atop of Sleepy Hollow.

The horseman raised his sword towards the sky while giving out his war cry. But it was cut short when suddenly a cannonball that came out of nowhere knock the horseman's head right off, it's head through off along with the cannon ball, until it rolled and rolled at a distant close to where the two girls hid.


20 years before the present.. .


A little girl is visiting her grandmother house as always in a small manor of Sleepy Hallow. The girl was playing around when a certain object caught her attention. Sitting atop of the fireplace is a skull that is so old, perhaps older than her grandparents themselves.

'Gran. . .why is there a skull on top of the fireplace?' the little girl asked.

'That my dear, is our family talisman. It had watched over our family for generation. One day you shall inherit this talisman,' the grandmother replied.

'Really?!' squealed the little girl. The grandmother nodded.

The little girl stood transfixed on the skull as if she knows what the skull really is...

Present- Sleepy Hallow-Five days ago


A young man was walking along the streets at night, down the road of Sleepy Hollow. He was minding his own business, when suddenly he hears trotting and the sound of a horse neighing. He stops in his track, and listening closely making sure he was not hearing things. . . he heard the sound again. . .slowly he turns around to look. . .and across the bridge was a horseman on the back of a black horse... however the horseman is headless. He saw him raised his sword up high. With fear, he began running, he ran and ran while the horseman chased after him. . . but it was too late for him. . . whop. . .off with his head. . .the young man's head roll along the ground while his body hit the ground with a thud.

The headless horseman stab his sword on to the head and with it, he ride off into the night.

This continue each night since the death of the young man. . . the villagers began to fear that it is the work of the legendary headless horseman. . . with this news it caught the Zweilt attention. . . .

[Tsukumo Murasame|On the way to Sleepy Hollow|Afternoon]

I drive in a van heading towards Sleepy Hollow to solve our first case, the legend of the headless horseman.

It would seem the homicide case that has been happening around Sleepy Hollow seem to connect with the legend.

Victims all with their head chopped off, their head never found. . .all that is left is the body of all four victims. . .

I continue driving while the rest of the Zweilt gang is busy at the back of the van talking about the homicide case that was also reported in the news.

'Guys. . .we are almost there,' I told them all.
