I heard that they're almost done the 5th generation of pokemon and they're releasing Black And White soon, anyone besides me gonna buy it? :3?  |

I will buy it when it come out in the U.S. but please no spoilers on generation 5 until it comes out in a worldwide level, why you ask? Because want to see the new stuff on MY OWN WITH MY OWN eyes.(^-^)

I'm definitely going to get it. Dunno which version though. For Japan, they are coming out this fall, but for the US, and others, we won't be seeing it until next year. Also, CoroCoro leaked with the 3 starters this past week, but like you guys, i want to be suprised.

I've taken a look at the starters, those are the only ones I want to see in advance. I won't offer any spoilers, but as far as I'm concerned, the Gen 5 starters are rather ugly. I think for the first time in any Pokemon game I've ever played, I will be taking the Grass starter. It's going to be difficult to avoid spoilers for the whole year though, but like everyone else I have to try, I want to have as fresh an experience as possible with the next game.    |

I'm totally buying this day one :] And I'm totally going to go this next year spoiler free! That means not only Pokemon but any and all changes to the game. It will all be a surprise =) Which probably means I should hide myself in a basement somewhere, cancel all my magazine subscriptions, and shun the internet for this whole year.  |

I would buy the game if it's for the Nintendo DSi / DSlite , heard a few rumours saying that Pokemon Black/White version will be a game for Nintendo's upcoming handheld, the Nintendo 3DS. Well, most likely true though since a sneak-peak for the game on Pokemon Sunday shows a 3D rendered gameplay which seems impossible for the typical DS to handle. And...I haven't even bought my copy of HG/SS. D:     |

Hard to spoil a game that's still in production. The game isn't even out until this fall, and with no US release date, any mention of when it'll be out over here is pure speculation, not a confirmed rule. Details everyone knows, gamewise: 1. Battle aspect has been shifted back 40%, you now see your own 'Mons' full body instead of a partial. 2. Nintendo is boasting full fight animations this time around. 3. "Real 3D", as scene in a demo of walking through a city. 4. Usual expectations, new region, 100+ new monsters, male and female protaganists, imports with older versions allowed. 5. New Pokemon DVD release will come with codes to get the three "Legendary" speed pokemon from Gold & Silver, inserting all three into your copy of Black or White will initiate a fight with Zoroark, where you'll be able to catch this new featured Pokemon. |

Must say, I actually kinda liked the 3 starters this time around and the player characters too. It's for the DS Unico, believe it or not. I actually find it hard to believe as well.  |

I actually heard that Nintendo is coming out with the 3DS (it has an accelerometer comparable to an iPod Touch's t detect movement) I'll be relatively sad if it turns out that its just for that. If its unico, its hard to believe with the rendering results in the demo and all... |

I'm agreeing with Jon on the fact that the new starters are very ugly. Even worse than 4th Generation, which I thought was bad (the Generation 5 starters make the Gen. 4 starters seem like supermodels). I don't know which starter I will go with yet, I'd have to see their evolutions before I decide which one to go with. And I'm on the lookout for spoilers on Black and White, but I won't share anything here...  |

I actually liked the 4th gen starters, mostly because I'm a sucker for fire and monkeys x] Now I'm worried that E3 is going to spoil things for me >.> Edit: And Seraphna, by spoilers we mean things like pictures of the new pokemon, etc. Those aren't hard to spoil, even for a game in production. |

If not E3, Tokyo Game show will definitely reveal more... Anywho, not planning on getting it since I don't play DS, but the new 3D system for the new DS is totally going to reintegrate? the series, but I hope they don't remake every older series again just to add 3D elements to it (which I doubt, but chances are not that unlikely). I already saw footage of it, and it's pretty sweet actually. Nothing on how battling is going to be, but I have a good idea. For all the versions I've ever played, I've always chosen the fire Pokemon. Who cares if they're cute or "ugly" really. It's only a teaser, relax. The group reminds me of the Ruby/Sapphire group though, especially the grass Pokemon starter, T******, reminds me of Treecko. Besides, a large vast of Pokemon start out cute and end up looking some demon anyways, and even if it remains cute, I'd still own you. The new trainers look, meh. The girl looks typical Pokemon trainer, let's battle spunky cute, but yeah. Apparently the storyline was revealed, too, and I want to see the latest Pokemon movie. Features two new Dark type Pokemon, the one looks really badass and it's featured in the movie too (probably Ash's last movie, lol). But yeah, it all sounds interesting. Was it ever talked about they'd be no legendaries in this generation? Also if I talked a bit, though didn't really spoil anything, sorry about that.

No talk about the legendaries, though I can bet that there WON'T be a Generation without a Legendary and Event for that matter. Question is, what will they here for Legendaries this time. |

@-DA:Don,t worry because the way you posted it it didn't looked or sounded like spoilers to me.(too many words didn't remember or understood the post)(^-^) Been seeing a lot of post hearing the the Gen. 5 starters are ugly. well I'll see for myself when the game comes out in the U.S.

@DA - I forgot about E3 and TGS. I'm going to have to avoid watching Nintendo's press conferences during those shows, or at least watch carefully for anything that looks like Pokemon so that I can skip ahead or look away for a bit. |

Oh Eff. i was planning on going to E3 this year since I live relatively close, about 30 minutes away, from where it's being held. I was hoping to get the scoop on Tales of graces among other games there, but if they reveal Black and White there, I'm going to have to avoid it =/

For those avoiding the starters, one of them's becoming an instant meme mow so it's pretty much close to impossible to avoid it lol. |
