Looking for some tear-jerkers

Ok, I just finished watching Clannad & Clannad After Story and realized that I'm not that much into comedies like I thought I was. Anyways, I don't know if it's weird for guys to watch this kind of stuff, as I'm still somewhat new to the whole anime community (in my opinion, anyways), but I love it. Could anyone recommend some really emotional tear-jerkers? Thanks to everyone for reading & any input provided. |

Chrno Crusade, most notably has one of the saddest anime endings in anime history. A very good series in fact, but people forget about one of the most emotional endings ever produced. If you want an idea on how tear-jerking, first anime that made me shed a tear when I saw the ending the first time and I never cried with any anime before.

Since you've already seen the CLANNAD series might as well watch the other works from Key Visual Arts. IF you liked/loved CLANNAD i suggest watching AIR & KANON as well. AIR is probably the more sadder of the 2, not to ruin it but it also has one of the saddest endings in anime history...being only 12 episodes, even with that short amount of episodes it is very impactful. 2 other series that don't forsay have a sad ending but the leadup to it is heartbreaking are Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts) & Kannazuki no Miko. Probably 2 of my most fave series. Kiminozo deals with the events that one has to deal after a tragic moment while Kannazuki deals with loss of another kind...both are worth checking out.  |

I love Clannad/After story too and it made me so depressed for weeks. Mushishi, and Kino's Journey made me cried too. And oh, 5 centimeter per seconds(Long distant sure is painful), Grave of the fireflies(You're not human if you didn't cry here), True Tears (Its not really that tearjerkers but it can gets emotional), Wolf's Rain(It just really SAD), Ga Rei Zero(Still can't forget about this one, watch and you'll know why) and lots more... Chrno Crusade, it's indeed one of the most saddest and made me cry so much because of the ending. Izumo's list is tearjerkers too. :x Imagine there's a scene in lucky star that able to make me shed tears, so those I list above surely give me a breakdown. |

Thanks for all the input! Just got done with Kanon, and I gotta say I wasn't dissapointed. I still like Clannad better, but knowing that Air is from the same developer, I'ma have to make that one next on my list. And again, thanks for all of the recommendations! :D |

Well you can watch Kurokami The Animation and Zero no Tsukaima.. The anime makes me cry.. So if you want to feel sad, watch these anime k.. |
